Week 10 Last week of Vegging, switching the lights on 12/12 cycle. Xmas is in 8 weeks now 😄 Stretch should start in approximately 7 days. I might have 2 plants (Lemon Cream Kush) finishing on the side, will see how they stretch, I didn’t expect such a Vegetative growth. Adding some pictures of what an excess of Nitrogen looks like and when the EC level of the soil is too high for a plant. Keeping an eye on the new growth of the week, the leaves aren’t clawed, meaning I can add some Nitrogen again by the end of next week to give them what they need for the beginning of the stretch. Took off some few leaves, the big fans leaves, recovering the lower shoots to give them some light. The shoots will become buds sites during flowering. Remember last week, when I spoke about the case of working in a Grow Op and the need of another week of Veg ? Week 6 starts good so far Two plants looks a little burn on the leaves The hole thent smells strong of citrus and the terp profile is increadible. The hole side branches and the leave branches are full with terps Edit on day 63: one plant (the one in the middle) startet to get a wired burn on the leaves. They getting Brown and Fall down on the edges. I dont know what she is Missing😬

September 25 > Harvest at dawn for the big girl. The usual routine... except I shot a time-lapse video this time to play with the camera I won last year. Clipped the top buds first - then the base. Took me 2 hours to wash all that -rinse - repeat. ---------------------------------------- Well this was an interesting summer with this pair of girls. I learned that I don't really need a container larger than 10 gallons in order to grow very large plants (in my neck of the woods anyway). Now when I say large I mean how much space they take up on my patio. I'm allowed to grow 6 legally but 4 eats up pretty much the whole patio. And the reality is I don't need to grow plants that large. The outdoor yield will last well into next year for me and everybody I know. So next summer I plan to do much more serious pruning to limit the scope and shape of the girls I grow outdoors. I also learned that I don't need an inverted tomato cage style support if my container is larger than 5 gallons. The Durban I grew last summer was in a 5 gallon container and there's not enough weight in there to keep her grounded. Once up to 10 gallons you won't want to lift the container much and there's enough weight in there to keep things stable. At the moment I've listed 450g as a dry weight for both plants (updated to 458g final). I haven't actually weighed the 2nd plant yet and won't even trim her for about a week or so (I'll be back to update diary). The first girl came in at 235 grams. I got pretty ruthless throwing away small budlets and trim this morning as it took me 4 hours to take this big girl down and wash her up. That's only because I spent half a day yesterday trimming Cream & Cheese and moving Northern Lights around... and it's been over 95 degrees both days... so I'm ready for a rest. Cannabis harvesting is not easy labor. Diary note > There was a software malfunction a week or so back and I was unable to add a new flowering week, whereupon it was determined there was a limit of 26 weeks at that time... so I didn't add any more weeks after that until the harvest week. When I added the harvest week, it appears the malfunction had been corrected because I COULD HAVE added a new flowering week at that time. I think there's only a week missing. Differences can be noted with dates on the photos. If I had a problem this summer it's because I was too anxious to get going after a long winter nursing shoulder surgery and I didn't pay proper attention to the lighting ramifications when the instructions were there for me, and subsequently started too early. Next year I plan for an early crop of auto flowers to keep me occupied until the proper time for a regular crop. --------------------------------------- September 30 > Trimming and processing complete. I really manhandled the big girl with the Trimbag, largely because I knew I was gonna have a pound of herb on my hands (way more than I will personally consume) and I wanted to minimize my hand trimming. So when I say manhandled here, I mean I ran it through the process TWICE, using about 40 rotations/spins each time. It probably would have helped to be a tad drier, but we're entering a cool spell now and we've run out of time. Mother Nature has decided to turn off the heater... which has turned my Purple Berry Kush a nice shade of purple... but that's tomorrow mornings's harvest... <sigh>... anyway... where was I... oh yeah... AMNESIA... <hehe> Trimbag generated trim on 1st pass = 217 g Trimbag generated trim on 2nd pass = 90 g Trim generated by hand after that = 186 g Final bud weight for big girl = 223 g Clearly, comparing weight of trim generated by hand vs by the Trimbag here you can see the result of my "manhandling". Little girl was in a 10 gallon pot and generated 235 g buds and 360 g trim. Big girl was in a 15 gallon pot and generated 223 g buds and 493 g trim. Final total bud weight 458 grams for both plants. Hope anybody following along learned something this summer. I did. 😎 The trick is to not make the same mistake twice. That's kinda why we're all here. Kinda. ✊

All is developing nicely, introduced cannazym and boost to the mix. Finally I have access to a better camera which you will see on the later pics. The cuttings I took seem to survive for now, with some outrooting their cubes already.

Been a slow week. Been trying to fill out as much of the Scrooge as I can. I will be defoliating in a couple days. I still want to see if any more sites will reach above the trellis. The feeding is still the same 4g B1/B2 of Floraflex and 2gs of Bulky B per gallon. Thank you all again for tuning in to my diary see you all again next week.

Hey now, so I am happy I finally decided to run a separate tent for seedlings. It was damn near impossible running 2 humidifiers 24x7 to keep everyone happy. I got 1 large humidifier running 24x7 in my new 2x2x3 and even with my spider farmer sf1000, and exhaust running nonstop, I am maintaining 80% rh and she is loving it as is the gorilla girl auto. She is still growing in pro mix seedling organic blend and plain water every 2-3 days. My plan is to transplant her on day 18 to an airpot full of coco coir, then top her on day 21. If all goes well I will top her twice again on day 28ish, and then just lst for about 3-5 days. I think I trained the acid dough auto for far too long, and I will adjust with this one. Planning to just lst the top 4 colas for 3-5 days to keep them from becoming dominant and then just light defoliation throughout the grow if necessary. I also just received a new grow light in the mail from Mars Hydro which I will be testing out for them on this grow once she is ready for flowering. Things are starting to really pick up speed! New growth errrday about 1" on each branch! Still no PH issues, but man is that 1L drinking a lot! I've been having to feed 10L every 3 days between both 1Ls, so about 1.5L a day it's drinking. The 1L is also MUCH farther along than the 64L, although the 64L is about 6 days younger, so perhaps it'll catch up soon. I also snapped a couple branches on the 1L dude but patched them up and they're healing well.

She smelly greet unfortunately I never took many pics she was a test run happy growing all I have not tried yet she is going into the curing process and I am not 100% sure of its sativa or indica

Day 57 - The plant looks great, healthy! The buds are looks great also. Day 58 - The plant is looking great i just watered her today looks like she might have a bit of water shock. I gave the plant some PH controlled water but i didn't take into account the soil so the whole thing didn't make a difference. Day 59 - The plant looks amazing. Defoliated her a little more today.I'm noticing the smell more prominently now as well; Also we done some seriouse decore change today so the whole place looks like a bud box we got the other plants from my diaries featuring in a the video. Day 60 - She is well and growing. Day 61 - Was to busy running around didnt take a pic its a shame but its okay. Day 62 - The buds are forming nicely plant is stretching out for the last time. The plant is also dry and will need watering tomorrow. I raised the light today as she is very tall now and was nearly touching the light. Day 63 - The plant got fed PH 5 water, so she looks a bit droopy from water shock but; she will spring back to life like she normally does. Looks like the plant is doing well though.
