The Permanent Markers are finally taking off! They've at least doubled in height since last week. Of course, they're still really small, but it's cool to see them finally getting going. They look healthy and are developing nicely. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. 🇺🇸Week 3🇺🇸 – Growth Explosion & First Training Back again for this week’s update! The Mother Gorilla is going crazy—she’s growing at an insane pace, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. The plant is super strong, and the leaves are just massive. Some are reaching up to 21 cm long, which is wild. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. And honestly, I have to say—I’m seriously impressed by Formulex from Growth Technology. I’ve been using the same nutrient solution since the start, and the results are just insane. It’s such a simple product, but what it’s delivering so far is absolutely incredible. I’ll be switching to growth fertilizers soon (they’re on the way), but for now, I’m sticking with Formulex, and it’s honestly blowing my mind. Environmental Conditions Not much has changed on that front. The environment is still dialed in: • Temperature: ~22-23°C during the day, 18°C at night. • Nutrient solution temp: Holding steady at 17-18°C. • pH levels: Hovering around 5.8-6.0—had to adjust it slightly during the week, but nothing major. It’s stable overall. • VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit): Still around 0.6, which seems to be working well. As long as it stays below 0.8, I think we’re in the sweet spot. • Humidity: Holding at 70%. Everything’s been pretty stable, and it looks like the plant is loving it. Major Work This Week – Defoliation & Topping This week was huge in terms of plant training. The foliage was getting super dense, so I went in for a heavy defoliation, removing all the big fan leaves. On top of that, I topped the plant—cut the main shoot to redirect energy towards the secondary branches. The goal is to push those side branches so they can take full advantage of the SCROG I just set up! Now, it’s all about recovery. Hopefully, she bounces back strong, and we can really start working that SCROG. Alright, that’s it for this week! Let’s keep an eye on things and see how she responds. La Mother Gorilla part en vrille, elle pousse à une vitesse folle et franchement, je suis super content. La plante est ultra vigoureuse, et les feuilles sont juste énormes. Certaines atteignent 21 cm de longueur, c’est complètement dingue. Je crois que je n’ai jamais vu ça avant. Et franchement, je dois le dire—je suis vraiment impressionné par le Formulex de chez Growth Technology. J’utilise exactement la même solution nutritive depuis le début, et les résultats sont juste dingues. C’est un produit hyper simple, mais ce que ça donne pour l’instant, c’est vraiment incroyable. Je vais bientôt passer sur les engrais de croissance (ils sont en commande), mais en attendant, je continue avec Formulex, et ça me bluffe complètement. La canopée devenait hyper dense, donc j’ai fait une bonne défoliation, en enlevant toutes les grosses feuilles. J’ai aussi topé la plante—j’ai coupé l’apex principal pour rediriger l’énergie vers les branches secondaires. L’idée, c’est de booster les secondaires pour qu’elles profitent à fond du SCROG que je viens d’installer ! Maintenant, elle doit récupérer. J’espère qu’elle va repartir de plus belle et qu’on va vraiment pouvoir bosser ce SCROG. Voilà pour cette semaine ! On garde un œil sur tout ça et on voit comment elle évolue. 7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. Will be monitoring very closely! 🙏🏾 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

I am back to happy with this strain and not at all worried about yield after taking some tops off two plants at day F48. Not usual for me to stagger a harvest, and also not normal for slurry to finish in week 6, but the trichs didnt lie. Had amber on the top one third of 2 plants, so I cut about 2 dry oz of one plant and 1.5 dry oz off the other. Couldnt tell that the garden has any missing. The larf on these plants is rock solid, and the trich development is out of this world, and an awe every trip to the garden. Fate will decide if I grow this strain again next year, I gifted most of my remaining seeds, I have two left, and one is already owed to a growmie. We shall seeeeeeeee. Monstercropping is a small possible option

One more week and this is the last one before switching to 12/12h, I decided to clean a few more sheets on 15th and I'm sure it will recover very quickly.. Happy growing! ✌️🌱🌿🍁

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2202 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! First grow completed, turned out far better than I could ever have hoped, the plants totally bossed it for all the winging it and improvising I put them through, but we got there in the end haha, Looking forward to next grow, can't wait to enjoy using all good genetics, already have some Bruce banner #3 seeds ready to roll out :) Thanks for reading

Had some issues with mildew this week so have been defoliating and spraying with water and h2o2 , added more wind . After three days this has not solved the problem , so had a friend round with his cleanlight uv-c lamp. Hopefully this will clear the problem, caused by bringing the monster Skittles inside from the back garden.

The tiny potter grow for the contest is looking good. Nice big plant for such a small potter. At this rate it will be a great entry. I am having to feed her about 2 to 3 times a day. Her ph was starting to drop with the heavy nutrition. I been trying to get the most out of her. She has a few mutations. Those were early on in grow. She is stacking, and flowering great for a micro grow. Leaves are a little damaged, but this is a complicated grow with plant size vs potter. I have done minimum training, and a little selective defoliation. She has been growing very ideally. She is doing great under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. El 7 de octubre se pueden apreciar en el video varias marcas de super cropping que hice tratando de controlar la altura, esta hay una planta en concreto que crece rapidisimo y con mucho vigor, después también resultará ser la más sabrosa. Ran 2 seed from both, all popped easy. Veg stage was smooth—Candy Store RBX with medium long internal soacing, Marshmallow OG compact and sturdy. Topped, LST’d, ScrOG’d, both responded like champs. Flowering hit week 4: Candy Store kept those fluffy buds, sweet berry/candy smell blasting. Marshmallow stretched like crazy until week 4. Had to lift the Candy to keep the canopy even. Marshmallow OG went full compact, colas dense, straight gassy with a heavy chemical punch— diesel vibes in the mix. Trichomes frosted early, looked insane by week 6. Harvest week 9: Candy Store RBX gave frosty, a bit fluffy buds, pure candy/berry flavor, uplifting and social. Marshmallow OG delivered tight, dense nugs, straight gas, chemical-heavy flavor, relaxing body buzz creeping in. Both fire, but totally different vibes. Candy = fruit bomb, Marshmallow = full on gassy chem punch. Visually and flavor-wise, the two perfectly complement each other. I’m super happy with this round. Both turned out purple at the end of flowering.👌

End of week 6, Beginning week 3 of flower for the OG Kush auto🍓🌱 Plant filled up the 60x60 cm tent entirely, and keep on stretching! And to think i was worried at the beginning that this plant won't get big 🤦🏽😅. I noticed some leaf curling/burning a bit, and some bleaching of 2 small leafs (not so sure about the bleaching), so i lowered the intensity of the cree cobs led to total 220W. This happened to me in my last grow (zkittles auto) as well. I guess the cobs can get too powerful for a small tent like that. I'll definitely keep an eye on that issue. Other then that all goes smoothly;) - I do some light defoliation to the plant every day, - in the next few days I'll do the big cleaning - lollipoping 🍭 and full defoliation. P.s - sorry about the bad lighting in this week's photos, I'll fix that next week✌️🏽
