I raised the light a few inches as this is a very stout plant and I wanted a little more stretch between nodes before topping. Otherwise, we should be topping this plant middle of next week.

I've been pulling the top fan leaves to stop the main stem growing any taller and repotted them into 4L pots, once they show roots I'll flip them over to flower. They've all outgrown their mutations but the apple fritter has a slight varigation.

Had to leave out of town for 8 days. My girls suffered both heat stroke and dehydration. I fed them and saturated the fabric pots. I also turned the dehumidifier off for the next 12 hours since the rain has slowed, for now. It doesn't look like the grew much this week. I'm afraid this is going to make the final weight significantly less than it would have been.

As of day 43 (November 13), the NYC Diesel has stopped stretching and is putting on weight throughout the buds. It is an important time for the plant, as the flowering is going to be critical for quality and yield, but it is also a little boring not having anything to do besides watch, water, and wait. It's doing well with the nutrients so I am upping the phosphorus/potassium it is getting, and I am going to try to slightly lower the cal/mag to help reduce the nitrogen. I am continuing with the Armor Si as an extra potassium boost as well. I try my best not to overfeed, as I find the auto flowers with my lighting setup are sensitive to more agressive feeding schedules. Day 46: did a small defoliation, will probably be the last. Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.

It was love at first grow lol but it was a fun grow it took way longer than expected but had some beautiful tasty flowers she did end up pollinating herself because I took forever to chop her down but it was still top shelf I would definitely recommend growing I will be growing again and also it will stink up your whole house

May 18: starting the fourth week in much better shape than in previous years and about two weeks ahead of last year’s development. Was only about 2 C overnight and frost is predicted tonight so everyone will be inside the house. Foliar spray with Extreme Blend this morning. The mini-greenhouse on the Veg-Trug is quite effective. It was about 8 C earlier today but it was about 23 C inside. It heats up very fast in direct sun and you have to leave it partially open to prevent wild overheating. That’s warmer than inside my house so all the plants are in the greenhouse today. Forecast low of 2 C overnight with a frost advisory so she’s back in the house overnight. May 19: rainy and overcast with high of only 8 C today and tomorrow so the cannabis plants are staying inside for now. May 20: been inside under light all day and likely tomorrow too. Just under cheapo LED grow light from Canadian Tire that works great for this purpose. May 22: still cool but some sun so she’s back outside in the greenhouse this morning. May 24: watered with Monster Maxx. It was a cold week but she is still doing great. 👍 👍 #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Hi Growmies. I hope we are all well and in the green?. Even though still a little quiet on here at the moment , I hope my video can help someone to try training their plants and watch the results as we progress. It may seem long but I did all 4 girls and wanted to show the hardiness of these amazing species of plants. They have all really settled in over the past week and the reporting did not slow them down too much bit seems. seeing how much the Brice banner had ballonwd along with the Jealousy #1 was an unexpected surprise. Both ladies have enough nodes to really get to work with now . they didn't bat an eyelid at the topping and just of the new growing shoots. The "pop and twist" with thumb and forefinger is a great way of keeping the branches where you ideally want them to stay. it will help create a nodule that will be both string and very good as a distribution point for the uptaken nutes from the soil. The limbs will thicken too and help create the shape that I need before flipping to flowering. The two smaller girls have come back with a brilliant green cour thanks to the mega crop and its magical powers. lol Both are wnow close to their host training points and hopefully will have caught up by the next diary entry. I want to get their tips to the pots edges before that point so that I can create the upward spikes of the chosen flowering limbs. keeping the lower sprouting growth on each limb will.allow all the energy to go into creating hopeful merristems. We want them all to think they are the main stem to get an even boost of available nutrition without feeding lower potential popcorn growth which can be an issue with l.e.d and penetration. The idea is to create a canopy of main buds if we can fool the plant enough. fingers crossed and I hope you can join me on this journey.
