Last week of flower. Flushing plants this week with 150 to 200ml water ph 7.0 to 8.0each day Day 76 plants are pretty much ready for harvest. Buds have fattened up a abit. Day 77. Alot more orange hairs. Buds fattening up still by a little. Plenty of milky trichomes. Harder to spot orange trichomes but can see them.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Welcome! In this grow we have: 2x Platinum Wedding Crasher 2x Gelato 41 1x Sour OG 2x Lemon Kush Germination/Rooting - 14 Days 9/17/21 - The clones look good in solo cups of soil. We will transplant into 5 gallon pots in the grow tent after they fully root in the cups. 9/18/21 - Looks like the clones are doing well in soil! We are so excited to grow these out. The clones came from a very highly respected grower. 9/19/21 - No ugly growth. All clones look amazing! We upgraded the light to a Mars TSW 2000. 9/20/21 - They are looking good and most likely rooting throughout the cups. I’ll give them a little bit of water today. I want the roots to go looking for the water so I’ve kept them slightly dry. 9/21/21 - They look happy. I will let them just do their thing… We are waiting on our Mars TSW 2000 light to show up anyways. No roots visible from the drainage holes in the cups. 9/22/21 - Looking really healthy and growing nicely. I’m excited for them to fully root in the cups so we can transplant them into the tent. The Mars TSW 2000 should be here in the next few days. 9/23/21 - Looking so good! We can’t wait to get these under the Mars TSW 2000 in the tent. They smell and look great. 9/24/21 - The clones look really good except for one Sour OG. It wilted and died, roots did not take unfortunately. I have a Lemon Kush started from seed we will grow in place of the dead Sour OG. Today we got our Mars Hydro TSW 2000 light. We will be hanging it and updating with pics/videos. 9/25/21 - They look amazing. Lots of growth while rooting. 9/26/21 - So far so good. Watering when the cups get light in weight. In just a few days we will be transplanting. See the video for today, we hung the Mars Hydro TSW 2000! 9/27/21 - Watered them yesterday, they look healthy. The Lemon Kush isn’t a clone, it is from seed. It’s the smallest girl but it’ll perk up quickly. 9/28/21 - Transplant day!! 6th week of 12/12 ended for my Big Block by Cannabis Brothers California. Here I am exposing pheno number 8 this week as it's turning out great. I took it out on natural light and made few fotos so you can see it in more natural way. Besides having the nicest structure among 4 phenotypes, it's also developing the nicest flower structure and it looks like it will also finnish as first. Deffo a keeper in my eyes, but the final test will be smoking it, but we are still long way from there. Other than that, video shows current situation in my 4x4 tent. Absolutely jaw dropping cultivar, growing in 6L pots but exceeding 1m in height and also it looks like a descent yielder. Not to mention the aroma intensity. It's just proving what I was hoping for - true OG bred by true OG's - the Cannabis Brothers. Not much to report this week. Going well, 4 more male growths. These girls are on autopilot for the next 4 or 5 weeks. Finally done the last big defoliation. I am happy with the amount of tips, I dont mind sacrificing a little size and quality for a potentially much larger yeild. No real stretch to be seen, I guess the scrog is to blame for that. A side note, I may have a little bit of a micro nutrient deficiency, iron in particular. I know this is rare but I did miss the iron last week, long story. Its presenting from the top down with choloris near the leaf base moving outwards. I also think I have a slight k abundance at this stage but the plant should take care of that as it begins to demand more.

---E1/2/3--- All trimmed and bagged! I'll be taking pics later tonight and adding the harvest "update" in the journal. I'll have all the stats about weight and whatnot there. ---E4 and DL2--- Day 62F today! I'm chopping E4 tonight, so my next update will include her in the overall Eucalypto harvest update that I do later on tonight. The Don Lemon is just chugging along. Looks hungry but I'm not going to give her anything now lol. I'll give her another few days and chop. Haven't checked the trichomes too deeply yet. Seeing cloudy but lots of clear, but I only checked 1 or 2 lowers. E4 is definitely ready lol. I mean, just look at her in that video (edit: just watched the video as it uploaded here, and it got resized because that does NOT do it justice. The raw video is insane). SHEESH. FBA2502 Plants 1-6 Week 7 May 11– 17 FLOWER 3 Nutrients : Micro 25 ml Gro 10 ml Bloom 30ml CalMag 30 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 16.5ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/11 PH 6.56, PPM 1560, temp 69 2ltr each 5/12 PH 6.31, PPM 1120, temp 68 1 ltr each 5/14 PH 6.66, PPM 1280, temp 70 1 ltr each 5/15 PH 6.66, PPM 850, temp 72 1 ltr each 5/11 Defoliation, feed, pics & videos I made 4 gallons, used 3 to water then poured the runoff back into the rest in the bucket. The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. Question 1 there’s a bit of purple on the stem I kinda did a nasty job on transplanting I believe it’s that but I’d still like some input if possible Question 2 theres a bit of yellowing I was wondering if that’s perhaps due to nutrient deficiency I do have my lights pretty far away and have them pretty low Lastly the nutrients I added were like at the same time I transplanted I heard Gaia green takes up to two weeks for the nutrients to be available I forgot to add warm casting so should I top dress with some worm casting?

Unfortunately, the Blue am and dynamighty (also due to their long flowering periods) didn't make it. Told my roommate to cut the plants when I saw that video and those pics but it was far to late already..

already harvested the big headbud, because its very wet outside in the moment and i dont want my headbuds to rot. The deeper flowers of the plant look like they need a little bid longer. they are smaller, so the chance of bud rot is lower. to dry them the box is standing in the cellar with around 20 degrees, but definitely to wet there as well :D sorry for the bad pics, got a problem with my cam. Update: after 5 more days I harvested the rest. I am curious to see how much it will be after drying Summary: ztrawberriez and zkittelz were a blast for our 1st time outdoor grow, about 25g each dried and trimmed. Gorilla Punch had a problem with bud rot because she only produced one big cola. So there were only about 10g from that purple gorilla punch
