Welcome to my second grow of the Blue Dream strain. This girl was veg'd for 14 week in a small pot while my first grow of this strain is in the flowering room. She stretched quite a bit compared to the first GG#4 during veg. This strain seems to be long and stretchy by nature. She's looking good after moving her to the big pot and giving her a trim. On day 1 I transplanted 2 BB clones into 3 gal smart pots with coco coir. I watered them in with veg formula and set up my blumat watering system with week 1 flower nutes. I raised PPFD to 600-700. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.0. The rez is 823 ppm. The tops are 16.5" from the grow light. The blumats have not started watering yet and I will monitor to ensure it goes smoothly. I have the blumats set at 1.25 carrots on left plant and 1 carrot on right plant. The average PPFD of my 16 tops is 703 PPFD. I increased temps to 85 day 81 night to get leaf surface around 80 f during day. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 782 ppm. The blumats have started watering and I will monitor closely over the next few days. On day 4 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.1. The rez is 717ppm. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is steady at 6.1. The rez is 706 ppm. The highest top is 15.25" from the light. I defoliated to bring in more air and light to deeper into the canopy. I increased the flow rate of blumat by .5 carrot on the right plant as it was a little to dry for my liking. The Clones are preforming well. On day 6 the reservoir PH is going down so I adjusted up from 6.0 to 6.2. The rez is 730 ppm. The highest cola is 14.75" from the light. The left plant had a runaway so I reduced blumat by 1 carrot. I increased flow of blumat on right plant by .5 carrot as it is still drier than I would like. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.0. The highest cola is 14.25". I reset rez with nutes.

An incredible amount of growth this week, especially for the Blue Dream CBD. I transplanted all the plants into 7 gallon pots. I was able to give three of them the smart pots but the Blue Dream CBD did not fit in the smart pots I bought so I had to put her in a different shape plastic pot. I do worry she may get root bound... this is only halfway through veg season and they are already pretty big. Any thoughts? This would be my first time growing through the whole summer and these Humboldt Seed genetics are clearly very good. I may top them at some point as they are growing very tall! Is there a point in veg when it is too late to do so? I have been using Fox Farms Grow Big and Fish Guano, yesterday for the transplant I used Superthrive. Otherwise good old Fox Farm Ocean Forest as always and water from the garden hose.

8/24 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 17+1 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! Yes, I said plus one. If you're following me, you may have already seen that I decided to sow one more strain. The first Jenny Kush seed didn't germinate and even if it did, we have 3 possible males in the garden, the rest are feminized. Since I bought sixteen 12 inch square pots to fill a 48" x 48" footprint, and we have some regular seeds in the mix, I figured it'd be a good idea to add one more strain. I went with another breeder I have never grown before, Expert Seeds. The strain is Gorilla x Cookies. My "helper" forgot to wet the seeds after I had sowed them and the top soil was a bit dry. I was not in the garden a little less than 48 hours and I gave them water when sowing, but I hope they didn't dry out too much. If the Gorilla Cookies doesn't germinate, I will rule that one as user error and not on the breeder. The rest of the garden is growing strong with the exception of the Sour Lemonaid. She sprouted looking a bit burnt and has some deformed leaves. In my experience, they usually grow out of it, but only time will tell. Not a massive harvest by any stretch but the bud I sampled so far was outstanding... I'm glad we grabbed many clones of this strain... Happy growing everyone :)

The nice weather has finally returned, and it should stick around for the next few weeks. It's just in time for the last couple weeks of the ladies. ☀️☀️☀️

This week went really great! Plants are looking super healthy today at day 22 from seed!! Today they got a dose of just pure water phd at 6.5 ! Temperature an humidity has been staying pretty stable everyday, staying around 70-75 degrees and 58-61 % humidity!! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! The beginning of flowering was worrying us, we had yellowing and weakness of the leaves, but after a defoliation the plant seems to have re-balanced and seems to be going great again.
