Temps are looking to be better the next few weeks and when on a good watering schedule humidity goes above 50%. I've just been bending branches that shoot above the canopy down. I still need to update the measurements of length and distance to plant. Lollipopped on day 11 (Jul 2nd) the amount of lollipopped space down below is about 30 cm(1ft) With this light I think I'll be aiming for a half foot(15cm) to a full foot(30cm) of canopy depth. Getting the top sites as close as I can to 30 cm below the light so I have the top 15 cm of canopy at the most efficient distance for this light. Optic LED recommends a spacing of 30 to 45 cm (1 to 1.5 foot) fixture to tops for flower. anything further away than 45 cm will probably be fluff, but! Anything fluffy will be left on and used for old school bottle pressed hashish. My family, with exception of my girl will have to fight me for that hashish, it's been way, way too long since I had some good hash. Plus there's no way I'm yielding more than a gram or two of hash from larf alone. Plant height is measured from soil level btw, she's about 60+ cm pot included. Moved the light up to 45 cm above the canopy again and I'm already maxing out on vert space, with only about 5-10cm remaining. Switched the light cycle from 14 hours on to 12 hours on to be sure, she's leaning more sativa but she was initiating flower. (Which I'm amazed I could even tell she was initiating bud development) However having her re veg at week 5 would've sucked very much So far the vibes from this run I'm getting is that I'm still nowhere near great or even good. But I am, at least, slowly starting to get there. Recovered from defoliating nicely.

Day 70 for these Fastbuds beauties Blackberry Auto: With dark purple buds glowing fiercely and a dank smell to match, this girl could make anyone's tent look amazing. During the last few weeks her buds have become incredibly dense and sticky. She is very short and thick in stature compared to the other plants I have in flower. I inspected her trichomes over the weekend and ive determined that she is pretty much ready for harvesr. I expect about 2 oz of high quality flower after dry/cure. Forbidden Runtz Auto I'm really blown away with the turnaround in this girl. She was mutated & so small I almost tossed her out during early veg; I'm glad I changed my mind. She stretched significantly between weeks 4-6 and I really wasn't expecting much from her. In reality, she has blown my mind... incredibly dense and sticky buds have developed in the past 4 weeks. She's got the zkittles smell mixed with a gassy terp profile.. I think the higher humidity through flowering phase really helped develop these dense buds. When I checked her trichomes over the weekend I determined that she will be cut down within the next 7-10 days. Process/ Environment changes: - Lowered my SF4000 roughly 20 cm to increase photon delivery to the canopy - Water/kelp meal only from this point to harvest - My temperature has risen due to change of seasons .. roughly at 27-28 deg C during daytime.. this is why I lowered my lights rather than turning them up - Defoliating any unnecessary fan leaves at every chance I get - I've had to use spools of twist tie to use to keep the branches from falling over from their own weight. I'll tie one end to the top of a branch, and the other to the stock. Not ideal but its working. Cheese auto dry/ cure update: After 10 full days of drying, I gave the buds a decent trim and put them inside glass jars where they will remain for many weeks. I add 2 way Boveda humidity packs to help regulate the relative humidity within the containers. I also use tiny hydrometer pucks to measure the humidity and temperature inside the jars. My ideal cure is at 62% RH

Well I'll say I didn't put as much time into it as I should have but it was quite or a pretty fair grow considering it's my first time growing anything.I've learnt alot and looking forward to my second grow

Week 6 Day 42 nothing new, i just now turn the light from 16/8 to 12/12 last week i trim some leaves with mine fingers (i dont use scissors)cause its better for airflow and when you do that i do before i feed girls and then after that į recover with pure water, the ladies color says evrything going well :) Happy Growing!!!

Another great week, saw some great bud production and stacking. All great signs of a good yield. Increased the bloom nutrients to accommodate the plants demands during this intense growth spurt, while making sure they are balanced with a straight phd water feed to help break up any deposits that may be accumulating. When I use just water, I’ll water until I see about a 15% runoff, and test the ph of the runoff, should be within your 5.8-6.3 range. I’ve got lots of airflow keeping things moving to help prevent PM and pests. After every feed, I’ll spray a mixture of water, a drop or two of dish soap, and some type of essential oil, around the base of the pots and tent basin as part of my pest management/protection. I have yet to have any type of pests, despite growing in an unfinished basement situation. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️👊

This week went real well! All 5 of the Twenty20 Ogreberry Autos and the 1 Fastbuds Bruce Banner have successfully germinated and sprouted up from the soil!! This upcoming week we will start giving these girls a heavy feeding of nutrients PH d at 6.5 an see how they react , most likely will love it!! Temperature an humidity has been on point, through out the day we reach 70-75 degrees an a nice humidity of 65%which is always nice ! Hope you all enjoy an keep them eyes peeled for next week !! 4/27 I'm fairly certain that I watered everything. If not I only would've held off on a smaller plant that was about 17 grams over dry weight. Pretty sure I did them all though. Having a scale makes watering in these cups SO much easier. Had a rough few days with a lot going on so i uavent been writing as much. Transplant will be happening soon. Most plants have or are close to having there fourth node. I'm not going to top/FIM until after transplant and they've settled in nicely. The Kush plants are getting close to needing that transplant. I'm waiting for the leaves to go beyond the edge of the cup. Despite the fact that some havecthree fingered leaves hanging on their own stem. The transplants will go into 1/2 happy frog half ocean forest. All in all things are going good. Some plants will probably be transplanted this week. Plants in this diary are different ages. 4/28 I watered what needed it by the scale. A few were close but within range so I left them alone. I'll check later in the day and water when they are within range. It sucks sometimes because I need to make that decision over just a few points sometimes. I usually do it based on plant size and response. Oh well, these girls are out of seedling stage thats for sure. Realistically this week is closer to week one of veg then the seedling emerging on day one when i started this. I just wanted to get this diary started. Then I had to get replacement seeds as some didn't germinate. These girls are looking pretty good so ill probably save the other beans i have for next year. I MAY do a lilac/diesel auto from Ethos when it gets warmer but we'll see. I am wicked excited for this season. Planning to clean and sanitize grow area and wash pots today. Everything seems to be doing amazing. 4/29 I watered a few but many weren't in range yet. I'll be there later this afternoon and check again. Boy things are going good. Planning to grab the rest of my soil this morning. Things are popping off. Transplants will be coming soon. I just want that big rootball first before they go in the 1 gals. I picked up my soil but they shorted me 3 bags of haply frog. It was like a war zone there. Construction everywhere and people hollering at each other over the mechanical racket. Only the drive through was open. I did some quick calculations to reach what I needed for soil bit after they told me to go back in because "they didn't have it." I stop and get out and it went back on my card. Apparently they were hassling my legally blind disabled wife to move the car. She offered them the opportunity to do so but they would need to deal with me after. I wasn't in anyone's way. The car behind me went around me just fine. Anyway I remembered the little local store one town over. Ten minute drive and they have a deal where if you buy 5 bags of hf you it's only SLIGHTLY more than 3. I headed out that way but had to come home due to an emergency. They've got a bunch and they aren't in the city. I'll make it over there this afternoon or in the morning and pick up the rest of my happy frog. No roots organic 707 this year. It's the same price as ocean forest and I really like ocean forest. Lots see how they do with just happy frog and ocean. 4/30 Watered the front row of the aerogarden. Others seemed to be within range. Pretty sure I watered everything under the L.E.D. Things are moving forward. I've got a lot of work to do. I'm going to pick up my remaining soil. I need to clean and sterilize grow bags and the 1 gallon pots and I need to clean and sanitize the grow cage itself and do any little repairs that may need it. So far I'm pretty happy. I don't want to make a mistake and transplant to early. I think we may have an early season this year. It's been nice the past few days. 5/1 It's been hot the past few days. It's looking like we are going to have an early season which is totally OK with me. I WATERED TODAY. I think I did the entire aero garden. I watered the majority under the l.e.d as well. I think when it gets that close (weight wise) it doesn't REALLY matter whether they get that shot glass or not. As long as the weight is like 217 or something. Some plants have leaves going over the sides of the cup. I transplanted to early last time with seeds. Not REALLY to early but they could've stayed in the cups longer. And they take up less space that way but within a week I bet these girls will be transplanted and spending some time outside. I'm looking forward to it. 5/2 Plants are looking great. Watered everything I think. Some weights were high (e.g. 216) but I watered them anyway. I'm starting to be able to squeeze the cups and feel the roots. After I run these few errands and bring wife to the soctors I'll get the rest of my soil and I'll clean my 1 gal pots. The past few days they could've gotten some sunlight. It's been really nice out. Raining today. EDIT: PICKED UP THE REST OF THE SOIL FOR THE SEASON. PLANTS ARE DOING GOOD. SINCE THE FIRST BATCH WAS A LITTLE STUNTED SOME OF THE OTHERS ARE IN SIMILAR STAGES. I "COULD" TRANSPLANT NOW BUT ITS EASIER DEALING WITH THEM IN THE SOLOS. AS SOON AS I TRANSPLANT THEY'LL JUMP IN SIZE. I'LL NEED TO PUT AT LEAST ONE HPS LIGHT UP AS WELL. HOWEVER, IT'S BEEN NICE ENOUGH HERE THAT THEY'LL BE ABLE TO SPEND TIME OUTSIDE DURING PART OF MOST DAYS. LAST TIME I DID SEEDS I WENT WITH 3 GALLONS BUT IM GOING INTO 1'S THIS YEAR WITH FINAL GROW BAGS RANGING FROM 20G-50G. I USIALLY USE A MIX OF FFOF, FFHF, AND ROOTS ORGANIC 707 IN EQUAL PARTS. THIS YEAR I'M USING ONLY THE FOX FARM SOILS. IVE DONE THIS BEFORE WITH GOOD RESULTS. 5/3 WATERED EVERYTHING BUT ONE TENTH PLANET AND THE ONE BEHIND IT WHICH I BELIEVE IS CHEM DOG #4. I'M FAIRLY CERTAIN I WATERED EVERYTHING UNDER THE L.E.D. These girls are ready for a new home. There's a couple that I Gould hold off on but some are at the point where they NEED A transplant. IT would be much easier to light and carry around in these cups but I want to veg indoors and on nice days bring them outside to harden off. There's only a COUPLE slow starters that could wait but only a couple. I have this year's soil. Just need to wash the pots and mis the soil and transplant. Today is busy but tomorrow is open so I'll be playing it by ear.

So the plant is taking off. She is growing a thick stem and big fan leaves. I'm slowly trying to bend the fan leaves out the way so that the lower branches get the most light they can. She looks to take the nutrient solution well and is thriving. 5 weeks left and calyx are forming which are my first signs of preflower!

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2204 girls and they're on a roll!When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! 04/02/24. Here we are starting week 6. Not too much has changed since last week. 2 of the girls leaves seem to be changing colors no matter what intensity of light I try, or what nutrients I give, or don’t. Both of their pistols have gotten really dark as well. #1 (middle plant) has stayed pretty dark green, pretty sure she has too much nitrogen before. Her pistols seem to be darkening much slower. It seems as the other 2 are very similar to each other, and seem more mature. I figured they would maybe drink less water as time went on but instead it seems they are drinking more than ever. Some days the soil is so dry and they look droopy after having been watered thoroughly the day before. Others they seem alright, so watering schedule is typically every other day unless they demand more. I’ve been giving them about a gallon- watering in very slowly. I also gave them some tea, which I’ve listed up top. Trying to help their leaves. Maybe this is just normal, but I don’t know, just think it’s too early for colors. The smell I mentioned in another week has gotten louder. I swear I smell spices mixed in there now too. It’s been nice out the past few days so I opened the windows. Oops. Could smell them outside. Smelled like weird spicy food cooking with a side of chemical, gas, and a skunk spraying? Yeah idk lol.

Day 67 12/4/20 welcome to the last week i cant wait to chop this girl down. I have a new tent on the way that's a 4X4 and I will put the new auto pot system in it. all in all this was a great grow and I'm very happy with the cola size and color until next week happy growing and as always keep your stick on the ice

Wk 4 was where I started to notice things weren't as they seemed. Continuous growth and some LST started towards the end of Wk3 and throughout 4 as different plants developed. The 3 girls in the Coco were looking wonderful, with nothing really done to them. - Towards the end of the week I noticed my leaves on the girls In the aero were now dramatically wilting and discolouration continued. - I flushed the tank and proceeded with just water.. 12 hours later after some research I realised I most likely have root rot!! - The following morning I took a look at the roots in more detail and what I thought was a bit of nute burn from the gunky root juice was in-fact slime. - I again drained the tank and rinsed the roots with tap water. Fortunately I have an adaptable tap and managed to hose them with an actual hose sprinkler! (it was better than a shower head). To my surprise most of the slime and damaged root matter rinsed away. I literally just scrubbed the whole tank with Flash bleach and rinsed the absolute crap out of it. - Again more research educated me that organic fertilisers are generally not great for hydro - I also realised that amazons system is terribly designed. The red sprinkler covers which are there purely for inspection let an immense amount of light penetrate through. This was another noob mistake I learned the hard way! Moving on I bought some Regen -e- root and pursued my crusade!
