Week 6 already! The buds are getting more and more tricomes and slowly getting fatter, we also gave some PK but i think it was a little too much combined with the palm tree ashes in the soil, but nothing to worry about, we wil lower the dosis and start the flush next week 😁👌

I went in scared that I would screw this up and waste money. I kept learning and fell kore and kore in love with it. Now I’m building a room and already growing 7 plants moving to 20 🙏🏼😝

Drying

Its finally done! So on the next days buds will continue to dry regularly in their jars. The total weight of the two wedding cake was (82g)..on the next few weeks I will continue to check their weight, while the total weight of their trim was 34.1g which i will use them asap in order to wash some hash. I did some tests with some small buds to feel the flavors and get an idea of what I would expect.. I was struck by how different the two wedding cakes are. with both the smell and the look of the buds. I will post other updates with photos in the coming days! Thanks fam for the support! 💚

Final weeks of flowering, she didn't turn purple unfortunately. Nevertheless buds are big and smelly. Leaves are starting to turn yellow, I have been removing old leaves every day. Harvest will come soon. No fertilization this week, only water.

Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Started from seed this lady's have 17 days under half load 4 X 50W Cree CXB3590 CRI 80 3000K custom build led. 7days in rockwool cube under a dome , 10 days in 750ml pot. Freshly transplanted into to final pot. They have received 250ml of fertilizer solution and transplation soil was moisted with 6.5PH water. Led now running on full load. This project have some custom/extra gadget, a prototype growing controler. Hardware Specs: Raspberry PI 4 4Go Ram + SSD 120Go Phat sparkfun qwiic i2c hub + i2c sensor for : temperature,humidity, co2, tvoc, air pressure and distance measurement(plant height) Linked with one custom wifi power bar for schedule and countdown. One sonoff pw r2 for energy monitoring. Both using ESP8266 chip and running on Tasmota alternative firmware. Linked to the controler using normal wifi AP. Week 5 No weekly updates anymore since nothing is changing except the height. Planted this lady under low stress training into the ground.

Week 5 / Day 35 Flower began today - 15/12/2021. Plants have definitely started packing on some buds compared to last week. Can’t wait to see how they turn out over the next 4 weeks. EC is currently a little high, both at 1.6EC, however I believe that it is due to the top layer of the coco drying out leaving salts behind. I think this because there is no symptoms of burn or deficiency, so it can’t be the over nuting, plus I’m using 1/2 of what mills suggest in terms of Base Nutes so I believe it’s the drying out. I will be keeping the EC around 1.4 once it’s stable and only upping the base nutes if they start to seem hungry. It has been less is more the whole run so I’m gonna keep with it. To get the EC stable again, and keep the coco wet, I have began multifeeding 3 x per day during lights on. 2 litres at a time per plant every 24hrs - 6l a day. I have read good things about multifeeding so want to carry on doing it as I’m so far impressed with the results. The string for the “LST” has been left on, but I don’t think it’s necessary at all. I will probably cut them off in time or just leave them on if they don’t harm the plant at all. Due to starting the C4 a week early, I did not want to use it for an extra week again this week, so I have began using the Mills Ultimate PK a week early at 2ml per litre. This can be used for the last 2-4 weeks of flower, so hopefully it all works out. Still haven’t been any nute burn or anything this run which I’m happy about, the girls seem to be coming along nicely and just developing without issues. *touch wood* I am just defoliating a couple of leaves per girl at a time to reduce stress, and only if they are beginning to shade or cover lower bud sites. Can’t wait to see this week compared to the next too! 😁🤙🏻🙏🏻💚

I harvested 24 cuttings from the White Shark mom this week, which was the first time she donated! She recovered fully within a few hours. Some ongoing maintenance pruning/training on deck for later this week. The 2 new moms (XXL & 8 Ball) are looking beautiful. I’ll be topping them soon to start working on structure.

starting week 6,the wedding cheesecakes are in flower for a couple of days now and the gg are starting to flower. alot of wind and clouds and rain these past two weeks but the girls are looking good in my opinion. update:after 4 or 5 days of rain and low temperatures finally the re is sunlight so the girls have to recover a bit. but things are looking better wheatherwise. cheers!

Start of week 10 Day 64 - Lightly Defoliated today and she smells wonderful. I’m the worst at detailing odours but all I can say it’s pleasant to the 👃 Now in a 2x2’ area she get 135W (HLG 3k) Next top dress should be coming up at the end of this week with Gaia Green 2-8-4 Day 70 - Received molasses Ph 6.4

Night humidity is getting up to 78% will need to buy a dehumidifier.

Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

🌱 Day 29 - First Day of Flowering Phase 🌱 Hey everyone! 🌿 I'm super excited to finally enter the flowering phase of my first grow! I have to admit, I was quite surprised to see that the plant had already been in pre-flower for three days and are developing really well. 🌸 Current Conditions for the Flowering Phase: Watered today with 800ml + 1ml/L BioBizz Bloom 💧🌿 Humidity: 50-55% 💧 Light: 100% intensity, 50cm distance, 16 hours light, 8 hours dark 💡🌙 Current Issues: I'm dealing with a few small yellow spots on the leaves, which seem to be caused by a calcium and magnesium deficiency.

Video and pics were taken at the end of the 9th week, I was away on holiday and let me brother-in-law do the honors of looking after this beaut! Plant had performed a self-topping during my time away. It allowed for 2 colas to pop out from the top.
