Honestly, the difference from the end of week one to now being in the middle of week two is actually insane. I wasn’t even sure if this plant was going to make it or not because my other one did not. The 🌱 has definitely blown up and is responding well to basically everything. I did have one issue with watering her and leaving the lights on.. DUH 🙄 Otherwise she’s looking healthy at least to me. Correct me if I’m wrong. Haha. Big learning experience for me!

seventh blooming week

I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Thanks for all the support & help along the way & happy growing friends!🤙🏼✌️🏼🌱 Update on 1st plant - dry weight 42g, still smelled pretty Earthy when I put it in the jar but the smell is definitely coming out now, extremely sticky & frosty buds❄️: 1:🏼🙏🏼 Update - plant 2 Dry weight was 40 grams! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Will have a smoke update on this one soon, stay tuned friends & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 5 dry weight was 52g it dried a little faster than plant 4 which I will probably jar tomorrow! This plant just got flushed so all old salts are gone, tommorow i start watering with just finalpart at 3ml/L she will be ready one week later, 10 days max. So next update is harvest.

New update for week 12, concluding week 8 of flowering: Hi(gh) Folks! Thanks everyone for your input on my second grow question. I’m going for HighTV’s answer, the SOG with 9x4 main buds. Very nice to get everyone’s input on this, appreciate it! So another week done! They got their last nutrients Tuesday and on Thursday the 5 early ladies from Hempire got their first round of plain acidulated water. I flushed them a bit on Friday and Saturday to. Now they can dry out for a couple of days. I will flush them for the upcoming week and let them dry out before harvest next weekend. Im counting on them to swell up even further during this week. As for the rest of the 4 plants from Hempire, 4 from Royal Queen Seeds and 3 from Hy-Seeds, I will treat them as if this is another week 8, and they will get another dose of Flowering nutrients and PK. Then next week I will start to flush them also. I will have 2 full weeks to flush and let them dry out until my planned harvest on Saturday 5 January. I’m not even sure that will be early enough for the 4 RQS’s since they look like they have even more bud-growing to do, before they can start swelling! I will keep an eye on that. The 5 tall ladies, 2 from Hempire and 3 from Hy-Seeds show the nice thick Kushy buds i’m craving for, can’t wait to see the becoming nice and heavy! On the photos you see the slight diverence between the pheno’s, the left 2 plants grew the popcorn-buds on a stem, and the right ones have nice thick popcornbuds against the stem’s. The other to remaining Hempire plants also show these, apart from the early ladies offcourse. The early birds show a little stretching buds and nice purple colours. I think this will be her last week feed and then a 10 day flush

Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.

End of the first few days of the transition. They all got a significant defoliation to open up space in the canopy for branching and the plants responded incredibly well to it. Plants 1&2 started to show immediate deficiency signs after defoliation and I upped the nute ratios by about 50%/liter with the Berkana. Voracious feeder and growers these are for sure. That said, their growth rate is phenomenal and the side branching is especially impressive and responsive to training. Veg. Maturity on all of em for the last week so it’s a fast growing strain all around👌. Well throw down the scrog net in a couple of days after we hack out the lower portions of each plant and take clones for all of em but the runt (#8). The clones will be flowered fast in the aeroponic cloner and pollinated for F3 generation seed. Bud characteristics on this run will then determine which clones get tested first based on best characteristics of the lot. So far this run has been incredibly impressive but only the bud quality will tell the true tale. Here’s hoping for continued good progress. ***Grow notes: stretching at about 1/2” per day over the last 3 days of transition. Side branching reaching enough maturity to start taking cuts. Minor deficiency signs post-defol. So increasing nute ratios on a slightly accelerated basis continues to be the norm.
