Week 7 day 3. I stopped giving soluble nitrogen today. 1/2 reduction in soluble pk. Adding solubles in water drops my ph perfect so I don’t use ph down in flower. Now today I start adding a little ph down as the 1/2 strength soluble pk brings water to about 7.4, so reduction to 6.9

Can’t believe I got 78g of bud of her! That’s nearly double what I usually get of 1 plant 😂 maybe it was due to giving her 7 weeks of veg, rather than the usual 4 weeks!? Either way I’m buzzing She’s coated in sugar and stinks!! The high is strong giving a massive couchlock and the munchies! She smelt and tasted like usual cheese but obviously much nicer and stronger 😌

2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Power Plant XL nr1 is 55 cm Power Plant XL nr2 is 49 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Buds aren't as big as the other autos, but she may swell up in the next week or two. That being said she has way more bud than the other ones with all her branches, and she smells so so good. I wish I could Harvest and cure this right now but I'm probably going to have to wait till December to get a fantastic, cured smoke from it. I feel bad that she's been kind of yellow her whole flowering life and she would have appreciated a little bit more food. Definitely a heavy feeder in flower. D81, she's leaning a bit now, the final weight is pulling her to the side. Four days until the official done date and I think she's ready, bit she'll have to wait. The berry will be drying next week, and the blue dream will be the week after. Chop on day 90 or 91 I think.

Week 3: Everything is going smoothly, Temps and Humidity have been stable. I’ve continued to train using LST and Defoliating a couple of fan leaves. I made a tea this week using Dragonfly Earth Medicine nutrients. Every 3rd day she is wanting more. I will alternate plain PH’d water and D.E.M.

Day 42-49 (Day 43) I was at the dollar store today and I found the best little plant risers. And they all link together in perfect 12” squares. Fits in my tent perfectly and only spent 15 bucks. That should help the dry downs quite a bit. I’m going to transplant the euro genetics into 1.7g pots with amended sunshine mix #4 for their final containers. I moved all of the non-marijuana seedlings into a small greenhouse out of my tent so I have some more space and light per plant. I also set up an exhaust fan to keep the humidity at a perfect 65-70% night and day. (Day 44) Everything is looking a little nute burned and droopy. The garlics are showing signs of overwatering and nitrogen toxicity. They look like they want to flower so badly. Node spacing is weirdly short too. I picked up the American genetics to look for roots and they were busting out of the bottom. They’re definitely not rootbound as they’re not even a foot tall yet. This is likely from having soil that is too compact (from using too much rock dust and not enough drainage) causing my waterings to not even reach the bottom of the pot. This was also happening to my other grow. I will make sure to very lightly pack soil into pots for now on because you can always add more later. I’m going to fluff up the pots and see if I can loosen the soil a bit. If that doesn’t work I’m going to look at transplanting into 3g fabric pots and lightly shaking off most of the old soil. Luckily I added a shit ton of drainage for the euro genetics when I amended the sunshine mix so they won’t need a transplant. (Day 46) The fluffing didn’t do much. In fact it might have made it worse lol. I just went to the store and bought some Destiny Organics soil and have decided to transplant. I dusted off 90% of the old soil down to root ball which will cause an insane amount of stress to the plants. The plants started in the aero garden were being choked out by the shitty sponge plug it was germinated in. I took a razor blade and carefully cut them down the middle so the stem can expand. I might have cut a few major roots one or two plants. Other than that everything is transplanted. I cut all my amendments in half and I packed the soil very loosely this time. The situation is not ideal by any means but I’m hoping they will bounce back in the next week. This should at least set them up for a more successful flower. I can’t really expect much quality from botched run but who knows. I might come out with some fire. Since this is my last grow here I don’t even have to pay the power bill for the next few months! (I have a very generous landlord as he’s letting me finish my grow until mid September now 😂) (Day 47) I’m going to give them their first good watering and test my fluffy soil. I watered in approximately 700mls each making sure it soaks to the bottom of the pot. (Day 49) All the plants have bounced back except for the ones with root damage. They are still looking droopy and sad. The black garlic #1 has recovered really nicely and is looking happier than ever. The apical growth tip is so tight it has like 4 nodes within an inch somehow. I recently learned that hormones contained in kelp and seaweed extracts can act as plant growth inhibitors and shorten node spacing drastically. I only added a very small amount of kelp meal to the soil so it must be leftover from the previous foliar sprays Velokelp. I’m going to pinch the top off bg1 and see if the lowers can catch up. Sucks to do that so close to flip but oh well. The euros are looking fully recovered from their burn a little while ago. The sunshine mix is quite thick and water retentive as well but at least it has some extra drainage. They’re all looking quite healthy.

Defoliated today at day 21, I think I vegged a little too long as they got a lot bigger than anticipated. Now I know how this strain stretches I can judge my veg time a lot better next round.

JULY 26 - DAY 72 - Entering her 4th week of flower like a boss, she isn't as thirsty as her Meph counterpart but still bulking nicely JULY 28 - DAY 74 - Looking great! JULY 29 - DAY 75 - Fattening up and she looks like she can get substantially bigger, as the pistils are bright white.

Just notice that one of the fan leaves that I put a small LST clip on has snapped off. Thinking that I may be better off sticking to the large clips removed a few of the LST clips and tied down branches with garden wire. I think this may be the better solution. Accidentally used 1 tsp for Bloom instead of 1/2 tsp. 5ml should be fine for a large plant, hopefully no nute burn as a result. So far she seems to be loving the extra nutes. Plants appear to have loved the 5ml of Bloom. No signs of burn this morning. Did some defoliation today to try and remove large leaves that were blocking light to bud sites
