day 15 (december 19) start of week 3 roots everywhere plant starts to take of now, the hydro is slightly bigger then the soil plant day 17: the hydro plant made a new set of leaves in just 2 days! day 19: i cut off the lowest leaves of both plants. i do this because on any autoflower these leaves produce a stem that wastes a lot of energy on small nugs. day 20: hydro plant got topped (3nodes) day 21: soil plant got topped (3nodes) same strategy with the topping, i do this early (i could pinch them off with my fingers) to reduce the time to recover. the plants bounce back like they didnt feel it and with the lowest leaf and small tiny stems cut off, these plants will produce 6 main stems with nice big and dense buds instead of a huge christmass tree with more leaves than bud.

Starting week 7 of Flower finds me planning the next 6, including scheduling a Flush and Tapering the Nutrients off in the next month. - ReStaked a few branches for even spacing & At the End of last week I top-dressed both pots with fresh Soil n Sand. -fresh material at play and the plants are using a lot of water. -able to feel when the big pots are drier and ready for water, by lifting one-end regularly. Just to gauge weight... it’s working. This grow has me trying to establish a much bigger root-ball; re 15 gal pots / 16 litre feeds ... I’ve laughed at some of the previous ones. Feb 2nd, Buds are touching, conditions are being changed slowly mid-flower & hoping they get real chubby in the coming weeks. With the constant reminders that quality grows take longer to mature in Flower than the literature usually states; my plan is to Flush sometime during week 10 (month end) - Three weeks to make it count. Trichomes to dictate Feb 4, - getting my head around htf I’m going to flush this pair in 3+ weeks. Low ceiling+tall sink+tall plant. Feb6 - slight reduction in Calimag and the next feed will see rapidstart reduced as well. Small moves but in the right direction. - tonight is a scheduled feed. Volumes have been big over the last 3 weeks and I am deciding to give the plants an extra couple days without Water, to make sure it is on the dry side as we enter the 2nd half of flower. Feb 7th - the UV-B light just might be having an impact on the buds of the R plant. There are a number of buds that are becoming obviously covered in Resin Glands. - used a moisture meter, the bottom of both pots is a bit wet. Patience wins... This is the plant that physically is still ~ 10 days behind the L plant. just an observation... As this week wraps-up, my plans for next week are to reduce the light cycle by 30 min to 11.5 hrs lite per day. And to drop the humidity another 2%. But that’s for next week. All is going strong at this point, Buds are filling out, smell at the door of the tent is obvious; earthy & dank. Up close from touching a bud it explodes of a Citrus smell. That’s the best description so far Feb 9th, almost a week since last water/nutes, tonight is a green light. Actually felt the pot lighter. Moisture Meter agreed. 17L later ... - balanced the branches / supports and found a good fit between the two pots under the one light. -adding more fresh air to the tent also helped drop the RH a bit. Ready for this transition. - A dry week in reality, cannot wait to see the changes next week after this last, big Max nutrient feed. ** bottom leaves had just began to droop as I watering the plant. Did manage to take it close to the edge mid-way through flower, now it’s Hungry at a critical time. Come on week 8

******** Week 7 - January 20 to 26, 2020 (Days 43 to 49 from germination) She continuers to impress with her resilience as I have thrown a couple of curves at her.......but she continues to fatten and grow her buds😎 It was also not without learning though and thats what is so cool about growing this plant.......you always seem to leave a grow feeling like you could do even better next time and therefore challenging yourself to do better......and have dab while doing it😂 Not sure if I have a little different pheno but if I ran her again I would find a way to train her out wider. 5 gal pot diameter idea........maybe don’t fill with as much medium? Again, simply to keep light hitting all the lower sites. Where does the “XL” come into play as well I guess. Removed branches early on that were low. This grow, her narrow leaves have allowed a lot of light down below but it will be felt in a little less yield.....think the pH got a little high....or potassium excess......Terpinator too early? If left to a single cola she would be tall and have a huge cola I suspect......Gorilla Grow with the extension type of potential! She has loved the water feeds. Missed out bit by backing off of the CalMag a bit too much.....stems say deficiency that but leaves show toxicity? (Back to that you always feel you can do better thing😬) Got a little crazy with the PPM and saw tip burn in week 7. Gave a quick little flush with RO water and Sensyzime to clean up the roots of the salts. Didn’t get crazy though because it was just the top leaves burnt. Been building the medium up to this point so don’t want to wash it all away just yet. She didn’t claw down and over night appeared to still keep moving forward with bud growth. I did notice a small amount of hairs starting to turn red by weeks end......likely won’t be long before more are red and we go to flush👍 (Make it to end of week 8??) No rush though.......still lots of room to fatten up yet. In the week a head there will be the last push to get her medium in as good a shape as my skills will warrant. I want to get a good 10 + days of flush but her leaves are going to finish dark from what I can see. Run-off has been reasonable though so will keep fingers crossed 😄🤞 Little more detail.... Jan 20/20 - Day 43 - Drinking lots right now, close to 4L per day, so 2L plain water only in AM. 6.2pH,. - Feed in PM was light as well. Sensyzime @ 2ml and LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml only. 2L given with 75ppm. 5.9pH - She was given a good feeding yesterday. - Buds sites are stacking.......she is making me 😃 Jan 21/20 - Day 44 - AM - 3L with Dual Fual A&B @ 1.5ml/L. 725ppm and 5.9pH. - PM hit her again - full feeding minus Rhino Skin, Sensyzime and Vitrathrive and VeloKelp. 2.5L 1000ppm and 5.9pH. - Runoff - 1100ppm and 5.9pH. - top leaves were droopy so the extra feeding in the evening. Jan 22/20 - Day 45 - Backing off quantity a bit and down to 2L feed in PM. Her pot was still fairly heavy. - Mass & Terp @ 3ml, Rezin & LW8 & DF @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 0.5ml = 1300ppm - Very perky today....standing up all the way down the plant. Liked the feed yesterday. *******should have reduced this PPM feed......you want to push when you see potential😕 Jan 23/20 - Day 46 - Supplemental feeding only today. Happy so don't rock the boat :) - Sensyzime @ 2ml, LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml = 80ppm 6.1pH - 2L only today.....still some weight to the pot Jan 24/20 - Day 47 - Nute burn on Green Poison’s tips seen today. - Flushed through 7L of plain RO water pH to 5.95. - Runoff: 325ppm and 5.9pH. - Followed right away with 2L more water with Sensyzime @ 3ml/L - happy and praying in the evening......little surprising actually👊👌 Jan 25/20 - Day 48 - 2.5L of full strength feeding for this week. - ppm for that was 1275 so watered down to 1100ppm.....only need 1ml of base nutes at full strength to hit roughly 1,000ppm. - Runoff: 600ppm & 5.95pH - Swear her leaves are bigger, more mass today!! Still narrow and dark though. - she is 30” x 30” now Jan 26/20 - Day 49 - Feed was full strength one for the week, 1150ppm 6.1pH. - Removed some more leaves today. - guessing only another 1.5 weeks of feeding. So I definitely remember now why I put these stupid jiffy peat moss pellet things away awhile ago. They are the worst!!! There either swamped wet or rock hard dry. Really hard to keep them in between. Lol I had to take them out of my cloning machine do to the fact they where just to wet for this stage. I usually use rock wool cubes but I ran out of them and decided to try these stupid things again. I was able to get her sprouted though and I will be moving her to a 3 gal DWC bucket as soon as I build them. For watering, I’ve just been dunking them halfway in my cloning reservoir and letting them soak up some water for a sec and pull them out. It seems to be keeping them wet but not soaked, and there good for about 24Hrs untill she is dry and needs more. I will upload some more pics later in the week once I get her in a DWC bucket. She moved into flowering just fine and is now moving forward in that stage! She just recently was defoliated so pics are before and after!

Overall very impressed with Ethos line of plants, the Gorilla Glue from Barney's Farm i am not super impressed with, they said on website 63-70 days.

To be honest overall this strain done good so as the others. Reflecting back on how i started with just a tent and light, and slowly buying the fans and filters whiles the plants were growing. But i did want these plants to grow naturally without topping and Low Stress Training. I regret not removing the lower branches becuase i did get alot of small airy buds down there. But it was all trial and error. All i done was remove some fan leaves when good to do so every now and then. Not on a mad level tho, i did have alot of sugar leaves which i will be making some stuff with! At veg the plants had deficiencies due to out of date Biobizz bottles. But that got sorted with the magic of Algimac and Calmag. Overall Next time I will definitely train the plants and maybe top a few. Final Yield: Plant #1 21.88 Grams Plant #2 33.36 Grams Plant #3 56.06 Grams Which yield exactly 110 grams! Ounces come out very fat with these light buds Not bad for the conditions they were brought up in, and with no training! Thanks for everyone who has followed this diary throught out the journey! D89 (18/02/2021): Copy paste of last week... I think max one week and she is done 😁 I gave around 2L of tap water. Glue Gelato is dry and in jar since one week. I did not move back Banana Kush in the tent since I was sure it was her last week. At this point I should have move her back in the tent. I think being in the closet might have slow her down since there is no reflective wall but at least the environment conditions are good. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - water: 2L of tap water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D90 (19/02/2021): I can definitely see more resin gland forming on buds and can also tell that the calyx are swelling nicely. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D91 (20/02/2021): I gave 1.75L of tap water. - temp in the closet: 18-21C - water: 1.75L, PH7.5 - RH in the closet: 33-35% D92 (21/02/2021): I checked the trichomes and they are more abundant. It's beautiful to see the buds becoming frostier day by day 😍 - temp in the closet: 18-21C - no water - RH in the closet: 33-35% D93 (22/02/2021): She is starting to show some amber trichomes but not enough.
