Super busy with a move and a big garden reno. Sorry, this is the only update for this week

Seems like all is in order. I had to go away for a week because of an emergency and luckily a friend looked after them, only thing he wasn’t sharp on was training and defoliating which is why it got so big and bushy last week. Still no nutrient deficiencies. I visited a website called cannastats a month ago and it actually breaks down ppm requirements for each element. Was a lot of work to get my spreadsheet to calculate properly, but really seems to be working. If anyone wants further details on this, feel free to DM me. I think the big stretch last week was caused by high temps, as a window was left shut when it shouldn’t have been, and also the light wasn’t in the middle because my friend moved the lights up and didn’t realise, so the colas at the back stretched more... that’s my theory anyway. Overall all is good, switch back to 3200k bulbs again today. Need a wide angle lenses to take a photo of this thing, she’s huge...

This grow cyle was quite long due to my mistakes in the beginning. Very little par caused my plant to get very thin and lanky. After realizing my mistake my plant quickly bounced back. I may have pushed this plant a bit too hard though. I noticed the buds not getting very big and I believe that was from a low yeilding strain being vegged out too long. Maybe I will use a smaller pot next time I grow this girl and also only veg her for about 30 days. All in all this has been my best grow so far. I am using a cross between Caligreen and Canucks grow as a template.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2204 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! That was the most difficult week. It was very cold and rainy, the humidity of the air reached 90% at most, but without sequels, thank God. On day 63, I defoliated and she is strong, fat and definitely smells like cheese.

I moved my fastbuds plants under my new ELUFAH UAP-1500… from the start this light seems like it’s way more than 50 watts brighter than my other light. This light is going to be amazing. I’m already loving it. Can’t wait for grow pros to release more products from ELUFAH… Papapayton is doing great it’s at that stage it’s about to explode in a week or so

She will stop her stretch soon then her main goal is to increase the calyxes and then it goes into the phase we all love the buds swell. Hey Family. These 3 finally got the chop and wow where they gorgeous. The sweet smell and red haired coated flowers came out perfectly. The flowers and the perfect density and have a spicy yet earthiness smell to them. Over all an easy strain to grow and a fun one to watch.

LaFanta seemed stucked comparison to early skunk plants, that evolved well this week. Some leaves presenting very light spots, looking as they recieving foliar feed/ipm however last foliar application was on Sept. 30th.

This has to be one of my favourite strains I have grown so far ... She handles everything so well cold temps , training extreme , and over watering . The smell she gives off is so good just like the buds I have smoked before from this strain .. Super excited for when I flip her and she gets flowering under way .. The nutrients I'm using cinagro is organic and this plant had loved it so far .. I'm thinking about taking a cutting because she has been so good .. recovery is fast anyway gonna keep watching her stretch upwards got a new tent today and have set it up for this weekend ... So if you checked my entry from last week, I updated it to as the Zkittles ended up being male or hermie. Day 7: These plants were fed today with 685 ppm with 1.5 ml/L of HOG Micro and Bloom, 1ml/L of Green Planet Rezin, 1ml/L cal mag and 2ml/L of Green Planet GPF Uptake fulvic acid, PH 6.0. I have been trying to gently move pots and branches to fill the space left by the zkittles and still maintain a level canopy. I have raised the light inch by inch as the plants grow to hopefully have a more tall stacked cola structure. There is 1 light primarily over the Vanilla kush as it seems to want to stretch more than the others and I want to keep its internodes as tight as possible. I have high hopes for the Amnesia Lemon as it’s branch structure could end up producing some solid clusters. The critical kush is similar, Good stacking but lesser branching. There is buds starting on every plant. I contribute that to the week of 14 hours of light and the 2 doses of HOG red sun which helps stacking and speeds up transition to flower. I am excited to see what happens with these over the next couple days and long term what these Barney’s seeds can do. Update: Day 10- I was away from home working my night shifts and returned home to find dozens of nice little budlets have formed. The plants seem quite happy, color is good, which I like to see cuz I always under feed N in the first bit. I did some mild defoliation to open up lowers. Stems are nicely stacking and about 6” over the trellis. I bent down the stretching Vanilla tops to keep canopy as even as possible.
