Learning a ton as I go. Started low stress training using rubberized wire poked down into the soil. Spent a lot of time just tucking the fan leaves down. I'm an idiot when it comes to watering. I dont think I'm getting enough down to the bottom of the pot, but dont want to over water. I'll just continue with what I'm doing.

This is the last few days. I added flawless finish yesterday and will harvest in 2 days. Gotta run outta town so taking it down one week earlier than I wanted. This gives me the week to make sure they dry process is going well and hopefully start the cure the night before I leave 🤞🏾

Week of fade 😎 Entering the last couple weeks of their lifecycle they’re fading, getting colorful and fat! Smell is insane, keeping temps low now to preserve terpenes and reduce salt build up due to high vpd. Checking trichomes every 2-3 days, aiming for 10-20% amber for my harvest. Stay tuned!

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Hello, nouvelle session, et 1ere expérience cette fois ci en coco. Avec une nouvelle gamme d’engrais de chez Canna, ainsi que le substrat en coco de chez Canna aussi J’ai constaté que les graines de Quick Critical+ ont germées très vite par rapport à la terre, ici, à peine 72h pour les 1ères. Et un joli 100% pour la germination!! Merci dinafem!👍🔥 J’ai pu aussi constaté que le réglage du PH et de l’Ec prennent ici toute leur importance,, puisque pour mes 1er arrosages j’ai oublié de contrôler l’Ec, résultat, légère brûlure sur le bout des 1ères feuilles,, j’ai immédiatement corrigé en contrôlant et en ajustant l’Ec,, les choses devraient rentrer dans l’ordre maintenant. Voilà pour cette 1ere semaine de découverte de la culture en coco,,, A la semaine prochaine... Happy grow...😎

2/13/2023 - Day 42: Start to week 6. Overall the plants are doing good, except the weird tip curling and yellowing. Initially i thought it may be either under or over watering, but the soil seems good. Not too wet or too dry. Then I thought possibly nitrogen toxicity, but the leaves don't look overly green. I now think it may be heat or light related, so I lowered the power on the light and raised it up a few inches. I also lowered the temp in the tent a few degrees. It could also be the new soil is a bit too hot still, and I've been throwing the kitchen sink at them, so I plan to just water with plain water the next few times and hopefully they will grow out of this. Plan to add the trellis net this week and start spreading the tallest plants out. 2/14/2023 - Day 43: Added the trellis net and did some light defoliation on the lowest part of a few plants. Plan to do more of a major defoliation next time I water. Also, the new growth appears ro be doing better, so I think raising the light fixed the problem. 2/16/2023 - Day 45: watered about 3.5 gallons, which is about 5% of the volume of the bed. I'm pretty sure the leaf curl I was seeing was a combination of light or heat stress, and slightly too much nitrogen, which is likely from the foliar spayed I was doing. Considering this, I decided to add a few things to the water. I mixed in ThermX-70, Comfrey Extract, Yah-Whey, FishShit, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and BuildASoil Big 6. I also did some additional defoliating to allow for some additional light penetration into the middle of the plants. Just started bending the tallest branches under the scrog net as well. Let's hope the girls have a positive reaction. 2/18/2023 - Day 47: did my weekly IPM. Foliar sprayed with distilled water mixed with BuildASoil EM-5. Also, realized I made a slight mistake. When I turned the lights up the other day, I never turned the schedule back on, so the lights have been on for 3 days straight. Luckily, the plants are still in veg, and they seemed to handling it well. The Grand Prix 3 had some minor leaf curling on the edges of some leaves, bit otherwise they still look good. They are back on 18/6 now.

Blueberry Headband Grow Week 04 Flower Feb 29 In a state of transition. Started using 'Hygrozyme'. An enzyme that will supposedly keep my roots clean and root rot at bay. Wasn't quite the case. PH went up 10 fold and brown slime reappeared. Rinsed the roots, added more Hygrozyme and a dose of Tarantula tea. 24 hours later, PH is up the same. No sign of rot. RePHed and all is ok. Plants aren't blinking. Aroma is strong. Trichromes appeared last week and are everywhere, now! Little bundles of calyxes are all excited to pop out this coming week! Think this will be a 'beginners luck' grow. Trying to be diligent. So missed a lot of weeks in between here and now as life got busy, its ok, shit happens. Gotta focus on the real world and no so much diaries on a site for free... Plants are doing well. had a bit of a issue with some PH in the medium, it got out of wack, or something in the fertilizer reacting with something in the sprayer chamber, noticed before when adding the nutrient solution into the sprayer there was some steam/mist/vapour coming off of it. During this I accidentally over used PH down and then used some PH up to fix it, but I think it did not like this. The result was some leaf burning on all the plants, it did not like that. So now I know to toss it out and start again if I can. I also bleached out the sprayer at beginning but thought I rinsed out all the remaining bleach, even ran a Vit C through it as it will neutralize bleach but I might have missed the lip of the sprayer or part of its manual air pump handle mechanism. Also noticed I was underfeeding them a fair bit in veg weeks, was so scared of stressing them out into early flower it happened anyway. I increase feeding to aorund 700ppm on my pen or aorund 1.4EC, ideally I'll stay at 1.2-1.4 EC for the rest of the grow unless they showing they really want more. The runoff has been stable on PH and about 200PPM different from whats going in, meaning they are eating when I am giving them and they may want more. at least some of them. I have a feeling a small amount of burn will happen on the smaller ones at 1.4EC. Well see how it goes.

I've transferred the selected plants to bigger containers. I've noticed that I'm staring them all day and a friend has an unused old GoPro that he was willing to let me have for this grow.... So now the GoPro takes an image every minute. I've started working on a python to script to let me create a time-lapse video, FUN!

Really happy with the amount of growth this week both girls seem happy with the setup so far. I have had a few signs of nutrient burn on both plants but thankfully I don’t think it’s too bad. I am not sure if I have maybe feed them too quickly or too much this week.🤔 I tested the run off for the first time and got a reading of 400ppm so I need to figure that out for the next feed 😐 Not much else to report this week. ✌️🙃

Expecting a awesome top shelf smoke from this girl, smell is mid way, a lot less than other strains, so it make a good option to stealth, but not the best. Superb strain, will update on the effects after dry and fully cured, high is supposed to be mild and functional, this is my first medical strain with high CBD, super curious. ---WET WEIGHT--- 421G ---DRY WEIGHT--- 95G just flowers000 ---UPDATE 2 . After harvest--- -A -Jaring After drying till the stems almost snap, in a rack, I separed the flowers, weighted and jared for cure. -B-Vape report. Vaped with a Davinci IQ, about .5 from the uncurred buds, from 350f to 430f max temp. Since the begging of the session you feel this is a special strain, taste is 5/5 vapor production is insane 5/5, and the effect as discribed by RQS, a stress killer that allows you to funcione normally, think it as a mild relaxant, is what i was looking for so super satisfyed! As you increase the vaping temps you feel the effects stronger, basically is a good body sensation and head tranquility, no paranoia, no confusion, no psychoactive stone. The side effects i feel is the classic dry mouth, not too strong though. -C-Joint smoke. Nice and smooth it hits with a mild sensation, very relaxing, no couch lock, mental trip or anything, i’m certain is similar to canna-tonic some how, very enjoyable, sweet taste tones of citrus earthy and woody. -D-Bong hit. Not a fan of bongs, i feel vaping gives a better overall experience, though for the sake of the diary, i did a bong hit to check, filled a full bowl and hitted mutiple times, the smoke is smooth, no harshness, though is a bit more intense than smoking a joint. ---UPDATE 3 . Final— Well guys, this concludes my diary, with this final update. After two weeks cure, i feel is already cured for the most part, one more week and all the cruise part will be done, after that it continues but slowly. It was fun to grow, and top shelf smoke. Note that is not a recreative smoke, is functional and enjoyable, i feel that if you have a super strong strain you can dilute in to this one and have a more controlled high. Smoking, vaping in multiple temperatures and i could still function, work, speak on the phone and think clear. Looking for a Stress Killer, high in CBD, that will melt your stress and concerns so you can go on with your duties and enjoy a nice smoke, give this strain a go, and let me know so i can follow your diary and know your opinion.
