New breeder and strains For me

Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Big difference in the two Cali Snow plants! The centre "Plant 1" is well along in the flowering process with obvious bud sites forming along the small amount of LST I've been able to get going. Got a bit more stretch out of it but it looks like she's settling down but the sativa flowering of this strain is noticeably behind the indica LSD-25 planted same day in my other diary. The other girl "Plant 2" that is far left and was cooked under the dome early in the grow seems to still be in a pre-flower phase and I'm actually getting a lot of decent stretch/growth in the secondary sites. I'll keep an eye on it for the next week to see if I have to set it off myself with a 12/12 cycle but there are a few pistils here and there. Hopefully it's just a little set back in its timing because it's going to turn out to be the biggest of all 3 plants I have going now. Will have the best veg base for flowering for sure. Hopefully I won't have to set it to 12/12 and rob the other two plants I have further along in flower of a few hours of light a day. Gave another feed with upped nutes but still playing it on the low side. Going up a little each feeding and no signs of burn on any of the girls yet. Making sure I'm chasing feeds with plain water and spraying the top layer with plain water here and there to keep any build up at bay; Since the girls aren't big enough for full pot runoff feeds due to small size. Day 48 - 12/16 You can see how different the timing on the two Cali Snow are. I'm loving the extra time with Plant 2 to set up bigger secondary branches and the pistils still seem to be SLOWLY forming near the top and mature sites. In an attempt to avoid switching her to 12/12 to fully trigger the flower, I've let the temperature drop down a bit to the high teens with the light on by lettering in the winter air and keeping the tent open with lights on. Hopefully the lower temp here and there over the next couple days will get it moving. Plant 1 is well along in it's flower. The bud sites are well defined and the stretch seems to be wrapping up bringing it in just a bit bigger than my small LSD-25 in my other diary going right now. Pulled it out and reset some new LST on the plant with a less drastic lean. Clipped a few fan leaves and 3 fingers from the two Cali's, anything blocking light or bunching up too much but tried to leave as much as possible for energy production. The classic Cali Snow smell I was warned about is starting to come in. Even P2 with little to no flowers is throwing off a nice scent. Still tent contained without exhaust for now so no worries on that front. Day 50 - 12/18 Gave them their biggest feeding today in both nutes and volume. Both split a mix of 1ml each PH Perfect MGB with 1tsp Molasses in a gallon of water with a half gallon plain water chase. First time the plants have been big/thirsty enough for a run-off feeding. Will spray top layer in a day to clean top layer of any residue then top with D-Earth sprinkle to let sit until next feed. These girls have gone from identical to fraternal twins. P2 on the left is looking more like the plant I wanted in terms of size and spread. The set back in flowering time has really allowed me to train it up and get lower branches up to a pseudo-canopy. It looks like it's FINALLY about to make the final switch as the still bright pre-flower tops are starting to shoot more pistils and new leaf growth has that telltale upward point as the spread comes to an end. P1 is full flower swing is chugging along nicely as I opened her up main stem up with some selective defoliation and the thin sativa bud structure is slowly but surely coming in. As a new grower, seeing the fatten/faster Indica flower of my LSD-25 right next to the Sativa on the same schedule is a great observational experience. 👽 The smell of the two Cali Snows are finally starting to ripen up. after a few days I have passed the small ones to the pot of 11 liters 😋👏🏻👏🏻, temperature 27º C ☀️ humidity 75% 💧 irrigation 100ml 💦 alternating one day with nutrients and another only osmotized water 🙂 accompanied by a daily seaion of about 45 minutes of bimaural sounds 🎼😉👍

I had an advice from an old friend: just let them grow. and i nearly did exactly that. i just tried out a little bit LST on the Strawberry Gorilla and Northern Lights. Afterwards i cutted the big leaves that were responsible for Shadow and low airflow and watered them with less water, but all 2 days. lets see how they react. talking about nutrition: they just got a little help for the bloom and wont get anything before next week or until they show some deficits. i think it wasnt the cold weather that let my SG suffer so much, i just overfeeded her.

Last week i was thinking how to raise it and now i have to start think how to lower it 😅 Becoming Monster. Andy's project suffering a bit. it grows so fast. The lower leaves are shaded and away from the light. So I cut them as the plant gets taller I really don't have a good setup to be able to clean my roots. I tried this week anyway. I watered each pot with 2L (not enough I think :/) of water at 450PPM PH: 7 then after I gave 1L of water at 900PM PH: 5.5. There was a big puddle in the room afterwards. But it wasn't that hard to clean up after all. Miami Mami by Solfire (clones, two phenotypes) Vega (18/6), days: 19 Flowering (12/12), days: 61 Total, days: 80 Ec 0.2-0.45 (FloraKleen, reverse osmosis water) Ph 6.4 Red 100% Blue 50% UV 0% DLI ~36 T. Day: ~27C T. Night: ~22C Humidity: ~55% T.leaf: 28C 🔥 VPD: 1.78kPa 4 days before harvesting I watered with FloraKleen, 2 days before harvesting I watered with reverse osmosis water, the last day I gave not darkness but 24 hours of light :) Everything seems ok. Harvested, I don't know the weight, how it dries, I'll thaw and weigh it. The smell is sweet, with the taste of either berries or roses with a light mint note, without a hint of the classic skunk smell. The buds are not large but very dense and trichomycete, the leaves are purple-pink, If you take off the leaves with your fingers, it leaves not a green color on your hands, but purple-pink (as from mulberry), I have never seen such a thing. I dry at vpd 0.7-0.8kPa, temperature 19C, humidity 65%. It will dry in 7-10 days. The cycle ended almost a month early due to the use of clones.

As usual this Forgotten Cookies🔥🍪 from Mephisto genetics is a beast of a plant! Reaching over 4 foot y’all and 3 foot wide this plant will hands down produce some solid weight! 🔥🔥🔥 Smells of fresh brewed coffee and baked buttery dough are spot on the best way to describe the smells pouring from this autoflower! ☕️🥐 Closing in on it’s life cycle i will closely start watching trichomes in the next week or two and then begin a good week long flush with 48 hours of darkness! I will start a timer and give the plant some cold night to bring out the plants true colors 😈

This was a brilliant week for plant growth, with some side branches over doubling their height. I added the ScrOG net at the beginning of the week and began some more intensive training. The LST only plants I pretty much just continued to bend. The topped & LST'd plants I removed some of the lower bud sites that were not getting any light. I also removed a few awkward fan leaves that could not be tucked away. The addition of the net has helped with this though, as keeping the canopy even is much easier with the support it gives. I also decided not to try any further cuts on the (half) mainlined auto's. My reasoning is that they have developed strong, independent colas already, so cutting for more would not see much gain. The plants had also begun to flower on the night I went to perform the second cut, and my growing experience tells me not to mess with flowering plants too much so here we are. I gave the plants one regular watering of 10L pH'd water, and a 20L nutrient mix using the ratios stated above. All volumes were split equally between the plants. The scrawny looking blue critical has perked up a heck of a lot, so the weakest looking plant is the LST only on GSC. ZThe strongest plants by far are the ones that have been topped and LST'd, closely followed by the mainlined ones. LST only is definitely great, but it is clearly lagging behind the other two techniques.
