Starting uv-b light

Great week this week, inside the tent and out. Carl 2 is doing great, and has mostly acclimatized to the winds and heat of the outdoors. UKBS 2 is seemingly recovering (knock on wood) from whatever was degenerating it's stem. It must have been mold or something similar as about 1/3 of the stem became dead wood and had to be removed carefully. I've been trawling the internet and all sources of horticultural forums I possibly can, and yielded somewhat inconclusive results. Everything from ants, to mold, to stem borers. None of which seemed to have been the case here. In any case, I took a whole ton of cuttings from UKBS 2 and am attempting to root them. Great genetics, and not to sound like a broken record but I'd hate to lose such a vigorous pheno. =-= Inside the tent, things are also going quite well. UKBS 1 is getting quite chunky, seems to be an interesting pheno. As for Carl 1, oh boy. I came to find out that this strain is a real interesting one. According to the breeder, it's a cross of C99 grapefruit x "D" Haze; pheno hunted and backcrossed in the 90s and stabilized over nearly 30 years. Loooooooong flowering times. In other news, the timelapse is out as well. Updates as usual. -6/3/2021 - Busted out the Rebel T5 and took some real nice budshots. Carl 1 is quite frosty, UKBS 1 is quite chunky. Also got a cool upskirt shot. -6/8/2021 - First orange pistils showing for Carl 1, looking real good. The clones of UKBS 2 are all doing well apart from one of them.

Another Defoliation at the end of stretch this week for the Northern and she's now in full bud mode at end of Week 8. 3-4 left I think before the chop and she's just a happy monster. Buds forming nicely on't Chemdawg despite a bit of Nutrient Burn on some of the leaves. Skipped a feed last week and replaced with Molasses only just to help her fight off the excess 2nd Chemdawg looks like she will bud from head to toe a fairly straight forward week for all the girls but started to stink and show their flowers nicely. We’re now in the final stage of the grow. The plants are receiving plain water only, and we’re just watching and waiting for the right harvest window to open up. Trichomes are still showing some clear heads, so I estimate we’ve got around 10 days left, give or take. That would bring us to a total of 14 weeks from sprout to harvest, which is definitely on the longer side for modern autoflowers — but every strain is different! Leaves are fading fast, senescence is well underway, and everything is pointing towards the final phase. Day 29. No problems as far as I can see. Started doing daily feeds from day 20, figuring I'll keep consistent track of the runoff PPM, and it is right now at 330, which is the highest reading so far (too high?). Inflow has been steady at 420-460 PPM for a while, and will continue until flower. Last weeks topping turned out to be a FIM, and I now have 8 new tops.. "fuck I missed" indeed

Hey guys and welcome to start of Week 8! 🌻 Today is day 21 of flower so i went ahead and cut most of the plats Fanleaves off. It took a while but now the Airmovement is improved and the humidity should also be lower. I also hope I didn‘t stress them too much. Was a lovely plant from start to finish. Very manageable and very much an Indica through and through. I'd probably defoliate and lollipop a little more if i was to grow this strain again.

Hello everyone, here after 1 week of 12/12, the plants are doing well, the stretch is easily manageable for now and apart from 2 small latecomers the filling of the net is done perfectly ... As for the fertilizer I count as usual divided by 2 fertilizer grow and bloom to avoid the nitrogen deficiency, and the appearance of bloom fertilizer buds ... I also change the MH for HPS because personally I find the stretch more manageable with mh during 1 week of pre-flowering ... here is now room for photos ...

Growing nice and strong. She's trowing flowers like crazy. No issues to date thankfully. From here on out it's just light defoliation. Other than that I'm going to let her grow from now on with no more LST being that my training was a success imo. Now it's just a waiting game.

Tied her down as much as possible. Removed any leaves blocking any bud sites. I also removed most of the outside fan leaves for no other reason then they are getting too long, not keeping their hands to themselves. I added a video of the roots this week.

hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

Diese Woche verlief ohne weitere Probleme. Alles entwickelt sich wie geplant. Die Thripse sind nach der Neemöl-Behandlung nicht mehr zu sehen – scheint gut gewirkt zu haben. Zur Sicherheit habe ich noch AC-Raubmilben ausgebracht, um eventuelle Nachzügler unter Kontrolle zu halten. Außerdem wurden ein paar Blätter entfernt, um die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern und mögliche Verstecke für Schädlinge zu minimieren. Die Pflanzen sehen gesund aus und wachsen kräftig weiter.
