I super cropped the orange sherbet today & wedding cheesecake wish me luck

I apologize for this diary not being thorough. I haven't had the extra time to fully document, or even give this grow the attention it deserves. Now that I have a couple grows under my belt, I feel more comfortable and know what to expect. I wanted to try and keep things as simple as possible, so I decided to try the Lucus Formula and only use Maxibloom through the full life cycle. For the first few weeks, I used nothing but filtered tap water, and once the plants had a few set of leaves, I began with a half feeding. After a week, I bumped to the full 7g/gal of the nutes and have continued that to this point, week 11. One plant looks to be at least a week closer to being ready to chop. I plan to flush after this week and cut the larger one, and then maybe one last feeding for the other. I think I will only grow 1 plant at a time going forward as I always have an issue with keeping both healthy and on pace. And LST works great in this setup.

Tapering nutes off for the flush. Also added a small amount of Barley as a top dress to help her finish off.

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. Here we are a week and a few days later. One of the Forum Stompers didn't come up. It was probably my fault, I could have given them some more time in the DVD case before putting them in the cubes but I was excited! I germed another one and that one has popped up just fine. Growth up top is pretty slow, and some of the plants seem a little droopy. Their roots just started to grow out of the net pots so maybe that has something to do with it? Or maybe because they are right at the end of the light cycle for the day? I've got roots that I can see on 3/4. For at least one of the plants the rhizo-core net pots seem to be doing what it's supposed to. I've got a nice set of roots crawling their way towards the bucket right down the side of the inner cone. Going to switch the rez out Sunday and start them on some really low strength nutes. I got the red frog air diffusers in the mail and went and bought a new air pump, these things are awesome. They make a ton of tiny bubbles to the point where it's almost a foam on top of the water. I'm hoping the roots love all the extra oxygen.

12week Leaf started like mutating into like a claw and some leaf don't have the same amount but I think she doing good. Almost finishing week 12 buds are getting size now getting a little bit dense

Good week of growth. NeXT defoliation on the 11th. Will strip near 75% of the leaves. Can’t wait for the new growth! Going to start adding Bud Candy and Carboload on my next feedings.

D13 - BOOM! The new #1 had made her modest appearance. Only the top of the seed is visible so far, but it's a start. :) #2 is moving along nicely, quietly doing her thing. D14 - #1 is still shy and hasn't fully emerged yet, but she is at least poking up more than yesterday, so there's progress at least. #2 is doing great, and I like her structure. Short and stout with large leaves and very short internodal spacing. She is 7 cm tall but already 11 cm wide. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - No idea what is going on with the first girl, but it sure isn't much. The seed has maybe emerged for another two millimeters from the soil, but that is it. The seed hasn't cracked, and no leaves are visible. Hell, I can hardly see the stem. Yesterday, I gave each girl about one liter of the compost tea that I started a couple of days ago. Let's see if that helps, although, at this point, I kind of doubt it. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. The second girl looks great, though, so that's something at least. D20 - Alright, it is official. The third girl died as well. The seed never cracked, and the stem went limp. I have no idea why this happened, and now I'm out of Colorado Cookies seeds, so that's that. I have already planted another seed to see if the problem persists with another strain. I will make a separate diary for that one, though. On the positive side is that the remaining girl looks strong and healthy. She is now 9 cm tall and 18 cm wide on this last day in week two of veg. Upwards and onwards!

Since last week I've been doing the normal watering only when they ask and watering once a week with top crop top veg fertilizer and they've responded very well and both are already in 11L airpots that I transplanted during this week

04/27 - Day 30 ~510PAR across the canopy. More training and a little trimming to get some air flow under the girls. 04/30 - Day 33 ~540PAR across the canopy. Switched over to the VIPARSPECTRA KS5000. Coverage is a WHOLE lot better and will allow me to start the next batch soon. All the girls are starting to drink more, adding 1 gallon back to the reservoir daily for the last couple days. Noticing some yellow tips on leaves, but getting super bushy.
