Hey folks, I have been checking the trichomes, and they have all glazed over white now with some turning Amber. So I am starting to flush with water. I am hoping for a 2 week flush 😀 Some of the branches are falling over with weight, hopefully a good sign. 😅

So far so go. After changing the light cycle the plant started to flower and it's looking really nice. The bud are starting to stand out now and it seems like it will give me more than a oz. The last auto I grew ended up producing 30 grams after it was harvested. I still wish the would of been a autoflower as I presumed but things happen and we need to just make the best out of it. I can not wait till I actually smoke this baby.

It's been an interesting week. I had to ask for help with resolving the intense smell coming from my garden... I can smell it from my driveway at this point.. I was advised that I probably turned my fan up way too high, which overloads the carbon filter on the end of my exhaust. I ordered another new one.. turned it down.. and I also had to cut down the cheese auto... all her trichomes were cloudy bit I definatly could have left her for another week... just couldn't handle the smell lol. Ask for help and you shall receive, thanks Growdiaries. And thank you Oozlefinch for the solid advise.. ✌️ I bought a rosin press this week and it's awesome.. she will be used for this grow as soon as things are ready. I cut out my backyard to plan for round #3 for all these plants.. plus a whole lot more! Process/ Environment changes: -Turned down my exhaust fan.. the carbon filter can't keep up with the amount of air being pushed through it.. in the water industry we would call this 'short circuiting'.... The Gorilla cookies is growing well. It's a tall plant with long nugs ( I hope the full out a lot more). I would recommend supporting the branches at this point in the grow. There's a slight smell coming off her and trichome production was late to start compared to most the other plants I have... I suspect she will go past 90 days unfortunately, but I'm excited to see what the finished product looks like. Hitting her with compost teas at a pH of around 6.7 That's it.. I'm on auto pilot at this point.. there's not much I can do except sit back and wait. Thank you Fastbuds

Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. May 31st Everything is looking good after the LST from last week, I said I was going to swap them into flower and I realized that I should wait another week or so as they will be going into a new home so to speak. Updates coming next week for that. Doesn't look like to many PH issues anymore or whatever was happening but the plants seem a bit happier now June 1st I Figured today would be a good day to do a bit of defoliation on these girls in order to get some more light down to the newer growth. I didn't take a ton off as you can see, but for the size of the plant I suppose it was a decent amount. I read somewhere that a general rule of thumb is only defoliate roughly 30% of the plant at most. I'm not to sure if it is true but I tried to stay within that general rule. June 2nd, I decided since I would have them in veg for at least a little while long I would top them again. After topping I gave them some water and nutrients. I know I said I would do straight water for the next one but I went for it anyways as it seems the flowering mixture may be giving it some deficiency's. So I gave them the recommended feeding for heavy veg growth. I gave about 3L to the bigger plant and around 2L to the smaller plant (as it was still a bit moist but it wasn't damp). My crappy soil tester was saying my soil was at around 8PH so I figured I would aim to feed around 6ph. With the small amount of runoff from the smaller plant I did A PH test and the PH seemed to be around the 4.5-5ph area. My liquid ph meter arrived broken so I am waiting for the new one, therefore I am using the general hydroponics liquid test kit. I presume my soil ph is lower then the water I have given seeing as it went from 6ph water to around 4.5. Next feeding I will aim to feed at 7PH. With the defoliation I just made sure that the tie downs were decently tight still and moved what I thought needed to be moved. June 3rd,4th Not a ton to update on. I didn't get any pictures for these 2 days. June 5th Some obvious problems going on with the bigger plant. I am guessing it is the PH issue but I am still unsure. The one browned leaf I accidentally squished in the tie down while I was low stress training it so it got a bit damaged. Other then that the plants are growing decent. Im not sure why I didn't have more pictures for today but I mainly took problems of the problem areas. June 6th Not much going on still. They are still just hanging out not doing to much. It was a busy work week so pictures in general were a bit lazy. I will try to get more for the upcoming weeks. Big news for next week!

Week went good girls are drinking like crazy and growing broke a cola on one week and half ago she hasnt grown much since but its about healed now but she should catch up now

I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 70 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Olá pessoal, nova semana, Purple Punch está uma verdadeira árvore 🌲 esta semana voltou a surpreender-me cresceu 15cm de altura está com 1,65m e cada vez mais ramificada, as ramas laterais querem ir ao topo como a haste principal, tive que adicionar uns tutores para suportar o peso das ramas, esta semana adicionei growth-c e alga-c, tudo vai muito bem, Fico maravilhado a cada dia que passa. 🤩 🌲🌱🍀 Bons cultivos companheiros

I was not able to dedicate the full time I needed to make this happen today, so I decided I would give it one more day. One thing I am noticing is the color of the leaves. I've always wanted to grow a strain that has purple in it, and it looks like this plant turned super purple. I couldn't tell because of the lights. 9/24/23 - Day 115 - I'm 2hrs away from chopping. With the Leaf box, you have to stay on your timeline, No rushing it, and no waiting. Always right on time. I started the grow at 3 pm 115 days ago so from 3 pm - 3 pm is a full 24/hrs. I'll update after 3 p.m. I already have my tripod, tools, cleaning materials, etc., up and ready. We will drain the water, ill then remove the roots and clean out the tub. Then, I'll start to remove the branches one at a time. Once they are removed, I will then get the hanging supports in place. Then I will hang them upside down and hope there is enough room. :) I've noticed I have a lot of views on this grow. One thing I feel I should do a better job of (based on all the messages I received) is documenting the process that I follow throughout the grow. So I'll start my next grow in November. I'll document it with better "this is how I do this in Leaf" type details. 2 hours and counting! See you at 3 PM! 9/24/23 - I started at 3 p.m. and finally finished around 9 p.m. Holy shit, am I tired...... I have a lot of pictures and videos to upload. I'll add some photos tonight with some videos to follow tomorrow. I don't know how much I have yet, I need to wait until I can jar them to weigh them. I was able to get all the buds off and hung. With a couple of bags of A/B stock (Snicklefritz) of leftovers that I didn't want to hang. In just the Snicklefritz, I had 219g of wet buds. Ill know the full dry amount in a couple of days. I was REALLY happy with the amount of buds. There were more than 75 branches of bud to hang/dry. Its the most weed I have grown ever. Now that the buds are all back in the box. The Leaf box will handle all of the drying process. It will maintain temperature as well as humidity. I now wait and check daily to check for dryness. I think one more day should work before I start putting them in jars. I already trimmed them. Its a prefrence on trimming before/after drying. Becuase I had so much I wanted to make sure there was enough air space. This is my first grow in this box so this will be floor, theres no where to go but up from here. Im hoping to finish out this journal in September with a final weight.
