Week 9

Week 3 has been fairly good. It started off with my trusty humidifier biting the dust and finding my humidity down to around 35% 😩 So I quickly purchased a replacement, which increased my temperature to 79 degrees but also brought the humidity back up to 73-75%. The first day of higher temperature had a leaf or two get some slight wilting, but the following day they went back to normal and the explosion (explosive sound) started! I also upped the nutes on Monday, bringing my PPM up to just under 600. Gotta say it’s been pretty smooth since then as the girl has reacted positively. I literally topped this morning, although yesterday I wasn’t sure if that 5th node would come out before I posted. Overnight it granted my wish of being big enough to snip! Again, this is my first experience, so although my feelings may be good so far.. I’d love to hear back from you guys about what you see and if I need to change anything or implement any cool stuff. Speaking of cool stuff, I’ll be putting together my top hanging 2 net Scrog this weekend. So wish me BIG luck on getting it right! PS. I forgot to get pics of the roots, but they are long as crap and all white (h2o2 once a week). I’ll include them next week.

UPDATE - sat 6th March Doing good for first week. The change of light made all the difference. One is a hempy that I am going to add some worm castings and I’m already adding loads of microbes so it should buffer the ph for me. UPDATE - Monday I ordered some worm castings so I can mix it with my coco and perlite, as well as a few other goodies so I can treat a hempy more like a soil grow but get the benefits of the passive hydro system. I’ll probably use around 10%. I’m still waiting for my fan and my microbial product that is made by the same people as charge. It looks great. Loads of ph buffering microbes to munch on the vermicompost and enable me to get away without spending 60-70 on a ph meter.

The stretch is done, and it’s time to start packing on buds. She’s not super smelly, like her older sister before her. 5 or so weeks to go. I just made the last ounce from the last plant into butter. Incredible stuff

📆 Week 14, Harvest 11-20 January 2024 11 January - I made a determination to cut light power to 25%, and go to a 12/12 schedule, instead of turning light offs for 3 days. After a review of current philosophies and theories - I understand there may be a possibility that coldness, not light, could be more associated with a terpene and cannabinoid boost during this end process. So I will try something new. . 13 January - Harvest Day. When I opened the tent, the smell of fresh berries, sweet, ripe, heavy with a slight scent of pine filled the air. I cut branches and all shade leaves off, without damaging the sticky buds, and hung them to dry. The closet was at a low 35% RH (due to the 0-5 degree F temps outside) and 60 degrees F. It will remain here with circulation for about 5-7 days. 18 January - The buds were small enough and the closet RH staying staying 35%, it was ready to trim and jar up. This wasn’t too bad a process actually. The leaves flaked off prefectly leaving the bud in tact, so most of the trimming was done by hand using my fingertips, not clippers. A delicate process but fast once you get the hang of it. I’ve weighed and jared them up, along with a boveda 62% RH packet #8 in with each. Here they will stay and cure until their peak THC/terpene levels are reached at about 30-40 days, burped daily until a RH of 62% is reached and maintained. 📑 Product Review: Hybrid Indica Dominate The outcome: 4.2 ounces/119 grams of quality bud in about 90 days. The developer says just under 65 days, this could be done, it would have to be manipulated somewhat. The buds appear large, compact in size, but not so dense, a true bush variety. They are however loaded with trichomes and covered in resin. There is an excessive amount of sugar leaves that make it more challenging for the beginner to know how to care for it in later stages, especially flower. 420 Fastbuds Cherry Cola Week 10 These lovely ladies are getting super close to being finished. Starting to get a little foxtailing I believe for lowering my lights. I'll be chopping them this coming week to start the drying process. They are so sticky it's unbelievable. All in all I'll say they're coming along great even the one with messed up leafs. Today was a very cold night. Temperatur changes from 30°c to 20°c. U can tell that by looking at her leaves. usally it should change when the Temperatur gets higher again. My first Mephisto run, got a new tent, light, and humidifier from me for Xmas. I started 2 seeds in paper towel in a cd case wrapped in a tshirt in the basement. 1 popped 2 days later, the other split still hasn’t really popped so I stuck it in a plug in a solo cup. I got pissed one night after it didn’t pop when I was drinking, so I started the single Dutch Passion®️Banana Blaze seed I had, it popped and went into a rapid rooter in the new tent 1/5/22. Mephisto Genetics®️Double grape 🍇 (which I’m calling Henrietta) went to her forever 3 gallon fabric pot with the bottom 1/3 FFOF, and the top 2/3 FFHF with a 2 liter greenhouse dome on 1/06/22. Welcome to this world lil lady!

New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

She started out rather slowly, and waited pretty long to get into preflower. After some patience feeding and doing foliars, she turned into a behemoth! I can’t even count the number of times I had to defol or the amount of larf I had to remove. She produced a massive amount of semi-dense, fragrant, and frosty buds. Not the craziest I’ve ever seen, but very nice for lower THC genetics. Smells of strong earth with undertones of sweet berries and skunk.

THIS WEEK THEY ALL BOLTED. I GAVE ONE GAL AWAY TO MY FRIEND. SHE'S INTERESTED IN GROWING. SO NOW IM DOWN TO 3 RHINOS. GROW IS VERY GOOD. I DECIDED TO LST 2 OF THE GALS. AND I'LL COMPARE THEM TO ONE W/O ANY TRAINING. SO FAR GROWTH IS VERY GOOD. VERY GREEN. AND STRONG STEM. NOTHING STRANGE.

I took this video in the 6th week of flowering. I only used the fertilizer once in the second week of flowering 3g/L.
