They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! Summary: Cost of setup: 850 euro Cost of nutrients and soil: 125 euro Cost of seeds: None they were cloned Cost of power: 150 euros in the power bill Total cost: 1125,-- for setup and this run. I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Hello growers, All was good this week, I've topped again, Lst in progress, I don't know if I need to cut some leaves, And I don't know, if I start blooming today or in 1 week, It will be a surprise for next week :) Have a good grow and good week.

DAY 50 f (a day late !)!: Hi all. Thankfully i am on the mend now and starting to function again so could get back to the fun that is growing. After a week of the girls going it alone with a very very light watering only . They have proven the lack of need in my help !!!. Gutting to see them not care that i was ill and just keep growing anyway ... not sure if this is a part of the disease resistant qualities or nature proving we really get in the way ?. Lol Their week has been about ripening the pistils and trichs by the look of them now. All of the strains are really showing their proven genetics off so well . Even the stunted Mexican has added a little "something ,something " this week. They are smelling so unique between the strains with the six shootwr being the most pungent with her diesel overtones. All nice and tacky to touch with a week to add even more trichs and oils. The Strawberry An exciting ending in sight now...

WELL! What an experience. I made some mistakes, learned a lot and still got some excellent weed out of it. Super frosty, LOUD and SO dense it's ridiculous 😂 Sadly i got some (a lot for me) mold, i encountered for the very first time. With it being almost winter in Germany, the temps dropped really hard for some days and then even 60% humidity was too much for the strain. I also would say it isn't that resistant against mold, so just keep that in mind, the buds are so dense, it's really easy for them to trap water. I had to throw away like 1/4 of the yield, mostly the top buds 💀 That kinda sucked, but it could be worse, it's fire weed tho, i'll add pictures of the buds later.

Mouth watering flavour, clean smoke, and it only gets better ! Barley a week into the cure and I'm already craving more of this strain Updated True Wattage, and fixed square footage of tent harvest was easy, could of gotten more yeil but she flowered early from some LST, would let this girl grow naturally in the future Buds turned out nice and chunky lots of sugar leaves just packed with sticky trichs She pressed out alright, could try a again but .4 return on 3.5 grams of bud gives 14-15% return on the first press of this strain none the less this girl puts out some wicked flavors can't wait till shes fully cured in a month :)

Transplanted Tabitha to a 5 gallon root pouch today. Going to keep bushing her out, as my flower tent is full of flowering Bubblegum. Might get interesting soon with space but we shall see. She’s doing great, very leggy and I decided not to do any more training as of now, just going to keep fortifying with silica and will lollipop this time near flower.

Day 78. Kushes were finally ready and all postponed work was done. Girls will breath better, all lolitoped personally, now two tall Zkittalicious took all 4th row and both Kushes are in 3rd now. Never did it so late in flower, took half of huge bin bag shoots, leaves and other crap away. Biggest branch trimming ever for me... Changed feeding a bit, they all look very hungry. Day 80. Plain water and girls are flying !!! Have very nice and super stacked Zkittalicious, looks like she will be my new love ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Purple punch is still hanging. Added blackstrap molasses to the gmos beginning of 9th week since the flip. They are getting fat. Trimmed the purple punch after drying for 13 days at 60 RH-60°

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes!
