End of day 27 flower. Did a full defoliation on her today to open her up for a better light penetration. Also did a bud pinching technique about 5 days ago on two main branches so I will see how it compares to the ones that were left alone. Overall the buds are swelling up pretty good and there’s only 20-25 days left before harvest. Thanks for taking the time to check her out. Peace out ✌️

Not a great week lost one due to being away for 4 days total dehydration think missed her when watering before I left 3 looked bad but saved 2 of the 3 lesson learned ☹️

Sticky has survived another night outside in my greenhouse..it was very cold this morning,; 10 C 😠! She hasnt grown much this week, only 5 cm but that has to do with me topping her, last week🙏 Tonight im gonna use heathing mats in the GH.. so maybe it will stay little bit warmer (waiting for my extention cord 2b delivered today✊) But maybe i will just put them inside again tonight, on my windowsill .. i dont want them to get sick🙏 the temp. at night is just too cold..heating mats in Greenhouse outside is not gonna help much i think.. But now she is on my garden table waiting to catch some rays from the sun..and then im gonna give her a good fotoshoot! forcast of today is very sunny so 🙌 But i will put her in my greenhouse this afternoon, so she can hide from the strong winds.. I already see some sighns of pre-flower coming up.(so shes still happy!) Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

Yeah nutrients and ppm are not accurate. It’s close enough, but it’s a rough guess off the top of my head. I’ll try to take notes right away, that way I can remain accurate. No signs of mold or mildew. No pests or bugs. A few caught in the fly traps but never any visible “free” fliers. The cold from the two days really had her looking sad and definitely upset her momentum. But now that the heater is back, she’s not freezing with a low of 50F and high of 68F. Within an hour or so of raising the temp back to 70+ (I went straight to 78F) she was looking way better, leaves peeking back up. Lights are down at 30% for the night before going completely off for 4 hours. I’d say 30% for 4 Hours, then OFF for 4, then lights back on at 30% for another 2 and then back to 60% for the remaining time. Im doing this because my Golden Goat pheno is showing increased levels of magnesium deficiency when the intensity is higher. Does that make sense? Maybe the pheno doesn’t like the high UV LED lights? The Blueberry S1 and Mandarine XL as well as the little Critical Purple auto are all managing the light fine. Except I did notice a subtle magnesium deficiency in the MXL at one point, in a few leaves. Maybe the plants would benefit from a larger vascular system?? The Blueberry S1 is just jamming! But I’m upping the CalMag in everyone to help mitigate the delay in the magnesium. YES I could give more Epsom Salt. But a moderately heavy stack of Epsom Salts with a pH of 7, on top of a pH7 foliar feed of Epsom Salt, to immediately see continued signs develop towards a deficiency suggests another element at play. Maybe it’s still not enough Epsom salts?… Or: maybe something to do with the light is creating a high demand for magnesium and thus, the output outweighs the input. Either way, I’m going to be upping the Calcium input to build a bigger vascular system to hopefully solve this dilemma. It’s only noticeable in the GoldenGoat pheno. Barely visible in the MXL and only in one or two leaves total. Whereas the GoldenGoat has every leaf that hits 40-60% maturity develops a small indication of magnesium deficiency, yet it never progresses. Anyways, the Mandarine XL Auto is cruising along just fine. Also I like the anthocyanins coming out in some leaves. Although I attribute that to the high UVs.

Here’s the end of Week 6. About 2 more weeks to go. Shes smelling great, looking strong, and will continue to pack on weight from here on out.

Flowering is obvious on both plants. for this week I´m going to switch to Flowering HPS bulb. Keeping the day room temperature around 22-23°C while night temperatures are around 18-19°C. Plants looks happy, however I´ll have to add net to support branches in near future. Also, I will start to use some potassium fertilizer to keep incoming buds big and juicy. I did a little bit of defoliation too to keep the bottom of the plant clean so air can flow easily there. You can see on the video two fans which are working 24/7.

●End of day 59. Both plants are showing signs of flush. I will be watering tonight (5/13/202)and saturday (5/16/2020)will be the final watering. Plan on giving the 36hrs darkness starting the 19th or 20th and probably be harvesting on the 21st. I will be going through and giving a light defol to the girls picking off the "flushed" sugar leaves. ■Big Bud is turning on a heavy bubble gum smell and Agent Orange smells like a orange farm in Florida. Only 1cm vertical growth this week but she pushed out quite a few side branches and leaves! Pretty much on autopilot right now.

They all doin pretty good, leaves are a little too yellow for my liking at this point I should have added some grow to the mix but they will be fine I think. This one is another one of the shorter ones with fat buds. It has a huge main cola and is maturing at a more rapid clip than everything else except the purple one. the little one is rising quickly this week, I think it will last another week, a week and a half at most, before dedicating itself to full flowering. the seedling entered the pre-flowering phase a few days ago (2/3 days ago)

11 mars Tous va bien ! Juste la "Lemon Garlic Og" qui montre signes de un peu trop d'engrais sur le bout des feuilles.(pourtant j'ai arrêté l'engrais bloom en mineral pour le passé en organic) Sinon elles vont bien ! Elles sont un peu fine, ça manque de volume (je vais remédier à ça en ajoutant du "PK" d'ici 1 a 2 semaines). J'ai posté 2 vidéos et des photos de chaques variétés. Sinon j'ai pas grand choses à dire. Ca brille-brille, ça sent bon ! C'est sur la bonne voie pour une jolie floraison !

Sorry for brevity we have been going non-stop trying to get all the produce harvested ahead of the freeze. Well she did her best in a difficult growing season, cold and the lack of sunshine had its effects we could not get around, Still she produced and that in the end is what is important. Next year we will do better :) Now for Zombie Quasimodo - she had to be harvested ahead for the freeze tonight and yielded 51g wet, Nice considering we already harvested this plant for few ounces weeks ago and we just noticed green in the compost heap... not including her in the total as she was an experiment and proof that if the germination rates were good this strain would be fantastic. 54 grams dry almost and I mean almost lost the main bud to bud rot, one more day or two and it would have been worthless. As it was lost a few grams like all the outdoor plants. crap hides from you

Week 20 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They and with the trichomes just starting to form and 2 more moths to go. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debby, in the 80s with low humidity. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. These ladies had a long vegetation phase. They germinated April 1 so I could get them hardened off before I went on vacay. The colas are large, trichomes forming and with 2 more months to go, my expectations for these are heavy yields and sticky dense buds. Happy 2 Months To These Lovely Ladies. I Will Be Harvesting The Purple Purple On Friday, I Wanted To Harvest It Today But The Soil Is Not Fully Dry Out And I Don’️t Want To Harvest It When The Soil Is Still Wet. I Bought A Pocket Microscope To Check The Trichomes And Although There Are Only Literally Only 1 Or 2 Amber Trichomes On The Purple Power Some Of The Upper Buds Are Showing Signs Of Overripe By Getting Dry & Crispy And Stretching Apart. I Will Be Taking Off Most Of The Fan Leaves On The Girls Scout Cookies (5gal) And The Gorilla Glue For Better Light Penetration. The Flowering 5 Have Such Lovely Scents Coming Off Them From Sweet Berries And Pine To Different Types Of Lemon I Just Love When I When The Tent Is Close Up And I Open It And All The Flavours Just Hits Me All At Once.
