This week I did a fair amount of work on my grow. I did a bit of defoliation and spent some time tying down branches to shape the canopy. My goal is to get buds growing wall to wall! I can't wait to see the results of my efforts.

Germination 07/09/2022 Hi to all the old and new growers out there. Spring has barely started but I'm so AMPED to start again. My first grow attempt was a disaster. I started to early for the season. I wasted some good seeds and those Blasted 🐌 🐌 snails messed up everything. Got up started again and took it as a learning curve. I had 1 seed left from the previous attempt and this had to be the golden ticket. The first important thing I learned was getting to the correct pH. Used a 1 liter jug not knowing that the pH down was very concentrated substance. Added 1ml of pH down to tap water with a base of 8.5+ pH and brought it down all the way to less than 4.5 pH. I probably tried like 5 times and realized that a single drop made a difference of about 2 pH. I got the feel of it and had to source a better water supply. I had the option of using tap water but didn't have the time to do a 24 hour airstone run ever time I wanted to water the plants. The local water supply shop was a better option. I got a consistent 6 pH and the price was decent. The Snail 🐌 Problem... I have a plan for those F**kers. We have 2 very nice hydroponic shops in my city. Here's the supply list: Freedom Farms Seed Starter GHE pH Up Kushy pH Down GHE pH Test kit Freedom Farms 10 liter fabric pot Simba Genetics: White Widow auto 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 "I find it quite ironic that the most dangerous thing about weed is getting caught with it." Most of the girls have been switched to straight fresh water at this point, with the exception of the few that look to need another week or two before flushing. Dropping the room temps and tossing a few ice cubes on top of tops before watering.

Week 1 of veg was a tough one. In the middle of updating my grow tent gear, i stumbled upon hardship with the young ladies. The first days was with my old LED light, and when i switched to the new light, they suffered from light burn and high temps adjusting it. They are looking crusty, but we will get through it. 👉29/8 With Viparspectra V300 Lights 👉30/8 Viparspectra V300 👉31/8 Switch from Viparspectra V300 to Lumatek 300W Pro 👉1/9 Adjusting temps, hanging height and applying new gadgets. 👉2/9 First signs of too high temps/light burn. Closely monitering and adjusting to keep temps down. 👉3/9 Solution day, maybe too late. Temps are manageable and lights on low setting for low stress. 👉4/9 Recovery. Temps: Day 27 - 30 ambient / 21-23 night (Still adjusting climate to the new light) RH%: 65.5-68.5 night / 68.5 - 71.5 day PH: 6.3

D78/F34 - 17/06/23 - I changed light schedule hoping she's going better. (6 only red ligh and 7 red-white) D79/F35 - 18/06/23 - New lights schedule is running D80/F36 - 19/06/23 - Added water and integrators EC 1.0 and pH 6.4 D81/F37 - 20/06/23 - Nothing to report D82/F38 - 21/06/23 - Added water and nutes EC 1.0 and pH 5.7 D83/F39 - 22/06/23 - Temp is too high for both water and environment. I see signals of suffering on the flowers (foxtailing) D84/F40 - 23/06/23 - I'm trying to keep the Tremp under control but isn't easy. To lowering water temp (that now is about 26 °C) I'm adding some ice to the water

I'm very happy with this weeks progress. They transitioned very well to the garden, which I'm chocking up to the row cover. They didn't need any water due to the thunderstorm we had last night, but I did make a ring around the base of each plant and gave them about 1-2 TBSP of the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend fertilizer. They also got their tomato cages.

Hasnt been exactly a week since last post, these guys finish up much faster than photos... wasnt expecting that. Just starting to have amber trichomes, flushing now, fed mostly rain water until recently... looks like I will have to finish with tap water. I think I will chop one very soon to make room for some new ones

Mildew was detected in the beginning if the week, the plant sprayed with solution of hydro peroxide to kill spores and then solution of apple vinegar to stop prevent new mold. It worked. I decreased the concentration of the watering solution and reduced light. A couple of daye left before harvest.

Not an overly impressive strain and I would say she was not that hard to grow. If I even grew this one again I would let it go naturally with some LST. Wanted more grape flavours but they don't really come through in the smoke. There's a bit of a sharp fruity smell that's sort of piney with a hint of fuel at the end. The smoke is not too flavourful in my opinion but that just means I didn't grow it well. Super tight nugs so be careful with humidity as stated above. Also she's a bit of a light feeder so be careful with your nutes. As you can see I burnt her tips and over fed her a lot. Not a bad yield though! I've only really smoked the lowers on this one so far so that gave me a bit of a racey high, just slightly racey. I would accredit that to the lowers not being mature enough at chop. The plant is super dense and since I mainlined it the lowers didn't receive enough light. I tried to let the lowers mature more but the plant stopped maturing when I chopped the tops, this caused stress and the plant just shut down basically. Not sure if I would grow Blimburn's GDP again until I grow the real GDP.

Purpling on one plant, lots of light-colored fan leaves on the others. The buds keep growing and maturing. The seed source says 9 weeks but I am aware they often take longer. I wonder if the top buds will eventually grow to the size of the preflower buds.

Week seven all the girls are really happy. They’re all getting the width and height. I want no issues. The insects have seemed to die back a little bit. I haven’t had as much problems with them so that is good. All the girls continue to grow a very rapid rate very happy with the progress so far Week seven all girls are happy.

February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. First off, I never saw any indications of this on the Cream & Cheese specifically, she looks awesome. Anyway, after closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy with my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! 💪 This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍
