It's been a fairly uneventful week in the 5x5. I cut down my Blackberry auto the other day and I've been thinking of getting seeds ready for the stuff I plan to grow outside this summer...With my currents cycle of plants being deep in to flower, I have time to look forward at upcoming projects. The Mimosa cake auto is one of those plants currently deep into flower. She's been giving off a dank smell of earthy/fruity/spicy terps. She is extremely dense and sticky to the touch. I find myself cutting fan leaves off daily due to her busy and stout stature. The only down side I have to her is the fact that she's going to take around 100 days from germination to harvest. Process/ Environment changes: - Turned off one TS1000 after I cut down the Blackberry auto. I did this to try and cool the tent down. Higher temps outside creates an increase I'm ambient air temp in my basement. - Fed Advanced Nutrients Bloom nutes at a rate of 1.5 mL/gal - no longer using a fish tank water heater to heat my water reservoir due to increased ambient air temperatures in basement Trichomes still mostly clear... I'm on day 84 post germination today as I write this.

AK-47 Goxuak Autoflower by Genehtik is a truly awesome plant and really really fun to grow! My 1st thought was I wish I had know more when I ordered the seeds. I only bought 1 from the single seed centre .com 🤦‍♂️ Of all the plants our house sitters watched for us back in week 7, this is the only one they regularly ask about and want to know when its finished. Even they loved growing it! And they only spent a week with her and aren't gardeners 😄 Ashoka started in a Jiffy tomato pod and was transplanted almost as an afterthought. In fact we ran out of containers and had to improvise with the water pitcher. (We didn't have high hopes) Oops. The pitcher turned out to be a big benefit in that I could see the roots and diagnose and potential issues. She has been in the same Fox Farms; Happy Frog soil ever since planting the pod into the pitcher. The soil held up good too. Ashoka didn't start showing any deficiencies until the end of week 6, around the middle of her stretch. Correcting this was very easy, we added the recharge at first but it didn't quite do it. We had to feed her Advanced Nutrients Bloom and Grow for about 2.5 weeks. But this Goxuak really never complained : 1:😎 Low Stress Training (LST) for Ashoka was a breeze! At 14 days she was 4" tall and too short to train. She doubled in height in a week and we started training around day 24. Just in the nick of time too! She entered flower about a week after that and stretched like crazy!🤪 the AK-47 gave us about 3 full weeks of nice flexible branches to train before hardening up. We ended up with a pretty even canopy and some solid colas too I wanted to touch on the lighting as there isn't a lot of options on this platform. Ashoka spent her life under 2 different lights. 1st, she sprouted and spent the first 4 weeks vegging under 2x Viparspectra 600w(250 true watts) LEDs at an 18/6 light cycle. She finished her flower and fade under A Optic 8 (500 true watts) LED. At 18/6 At around day 60 I started flushing her.(well my house sitter Sam did the first time) We used Cyco Kleanse and flushed 5 Gallons thru her until the ppm was down to 350ish, I did the next 2 flushes. The 2nd I used Kleanse again getting the runoff ppm to ~120. Her final week I stopped ph-ing the water and just watered tap. I also gave her the 3rd and final flush with straight Ice cold tap water. She really showed a great fade!! Some buds definitely colored up too!! Finally the Harevst: I put her in a 5Gal bucket of ice in complete darkness for 4 days.😈 This was done with the intent to help her produce more resin and frost up. I can't say if it truly worked. She absolutely doubled the trichome production in those 4 days, but idk if it was the time or the darkness and ice. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I kept her in a sealed closet with a oscillating fan and humidifier at 75°and 63%RH. On the 3rd day I lowered the RH to 50%. She got trimmed and put into jars on the 5th day after harvest. I am monitoring the humidity and burping regularly (8-10x a day) Smoke Report: Creamy pepper with a cherry syrup aftertaste.🤣🤪 I've only smoked a bowl so haven't tested the ashes. But she is curing nice. A bit harsh yet I expect will go away after a couple more days. The high is perfect tho! Just what we wanted. It creeps up on u. But you will be confused by the time you finish the bowl. A very cerebral high(I chopped her whole trichomes were only 10% amber) that was great with good company. My girl andI are both veteran smokers, but this bud still made us both giggly(a rarity). It's a good social smoke and was fun to be on around others. The only downsides were it caused a mild confusion and paranoia. Like I would forget what I was talking about then worry ppl were laughing at me for it(they were though) 🤣🤣 I plan to report more feedback after it had cured a couple weeks. I'll invite others people's opinions as well. Right now I can definitely say the AK-47 Goxuak from Genehtik it an autoflower I would recommend to anyone, but especially new auto growers. I will be ordering more next season if they ate available. Genehtik has won me over. They genetics were extremely stable and safe. No herms no deficiencies nothing but greatness! 🌱🌱🌱 I had to share! I was looking on the breeder Instagram page( @Genehtik_chile) and they used a few of my pictures of Ashoka to represent their AK-47 Goxuak auto. I really feel honored by this. I have only been growing for 5 months and know I'm not good, but it's inspiring and motivating when the breeder of the strain give you an attaboy like this. Thanks Genehtik! Harvest week for atleast the BG’s. The motor breath looks like it could go a couple more weeks but won’t have the time so….. we rollin with it!

The pineapple auto flower was germinated at the same time as the blueberry. It took some time to catch up, I'm not sure what I did wrong but it's just now starting to show signs of future success. I had a couple other auto strains that all failed to sprout due to my negligence. Update on those, my last seeds seem to have taken when I opten to put them in my outdoor hydro setup for germination. The conditions must be better with the uv from the sun preventing over dampening from being a molds paradise. I don't have the time to watch these all day so this was my best shot. I noticed some yellowing. Turns out my ph was off because I never calibrated my ph sensor. Fixed everything 10-Jul, hopefully she comes back to vitality soon or the yellow is just light green from the new leaves.. I diluted the nutrient solution down today but only to 1000 from being up to 1200. If nothing changes in a few days I will replace half the current reservoir supply with new ph adjusted water. I don't dechlorinate with a filter but I bubble the water for a day and hit it with uv just for good measure before adding new water. Update, after researching, it appears this is iron deficiency. Hopefully correcting the ph is enough to prevent the yellowing from continuing. Fingers crossed. Else I need a supplement. Update July 11, after calibrating my ph monitor and getting back in acceptable range yesterday [I have been shooting for 6.0 or just below] the leaves are becoming more dark green in color and the yellowish color is dissipating. You can see some of the lower leaves have some sort of burn. I am not sure if it is heat damage or caused by ph imbalance but I don't see this on the newer growth.

High all. Another week passed and I'm already at 50 days. Wow. Where did that go? Girls are looking pretty. Stretch is over now and there's plenty of fluff all over. Kicking the nutrients up a notch now. Also, they all have a bit more room as the last of the previous grow is now in jars. Feeding every other watering. now about 1 litre every other day. Hopefully, they will turn out ok. But there's no truth to that until it hits the scales. Happy growing everyone! Leafy- Team Green.

This week went by quickly. They're doin their Pre-Flower stretch and getting big quickly!! I added my Pre-Flower mix to them this week. My Nutrient Pre-Flower Mix consists of H20, Coconut, Bananas, Pineapple, Sweet Potatoes, Kelp, Alfalfa Meal, All Organic Non-Pasturized Whole Milk, Epsom Salts, Black Strap Molasses, and L.A.B. or Lactic Acid Bacteria. First, I boiled the coconut, pineapple, sweet potatoes, the bananas, and left the skins on as well except the coconut of course! That I had to split in half and make sure to keep the water inside to add to the boil. After boiling everything I then let it cool and then added it to a blender to blend little by little. After blending I left separate and placed into the fridge. Then I took 1 Tbsp of Alfalfa Meal and 2 Tbsp of Kelp, 500mL of the milk, 2 Tbsp of Epsom Salts, and mixed them in a 750 mL bottle. Then I took 1L of the mix and added 2 Tbsp of L.A.B. and 2 Tbsp of Black Strap Molasses and then shook the bottle well! Then I took the 750mL bottle and the 1L bottle and fed that to the plants adding 250 mL of pH H2O to the plant as well to flush the ingredients all into the plant with the H20. I wanted to also note that I choose to slowly defoliate so that the plant doesn't go into shock and also fan leaves collect light in all spectrums so taking too many off at a time could hurt or slow the growth of your plant! The amount of light your plant takes in daily is called DLI or Daily Light Index. Overall, they're really growing and have a ton of bud sites developing! I'm excited to see the growth weekly and their colors!

Ok just finnished a blunt of this a out an hour ago, and I do not smoke blunts lol But it seems only right too do a real smoked reveiw , So the fbt7 has been dry now for about 2 weeks and in a jar and today was the day too take the first bud too try so I rolled a fat one " fat one in photos lol , So for me the flavour just isn't there yet and am hoping that will come after a cure , So I smoked this all too my self and qiukly , Within a few minutes I went white as a ghost as was twitching the the corner hehehe, This is very strong bud and I would go as far as saying it's probably the strongest bud I've had in years , I am what I would describe as a joker smoker , as I turn my bud into oils and do not smoke it , But any serious cannabis smoker will absolutely love this strain , Well done fast buds and thank you :)

Alright, happy month of 420 to all🤙🌲 This is 3 days into week 4 of bud for these ladies (day 25). They have all definitely started swelling up and putting on frost. For some reason I’m not recognizing any of theses bud structure. The two seed grown plants up front are way different phenotypes than the plants I grew last round. And even the clone I took that’s in the back is way crazy different than the mother I took her from. So I’m assuming these genetics aren’t to stable. But they aren't done yet so I guess I can’t quite judge till it’s finished. Anyways once’s I get a strong mother of that Dark Plasma and Tropic Moon I’ll probably stop running these strains and only run those two strains for a bit

Started my Autoflower journey in soil a few grows ago, and was happy with 2-4 ounces. Using my hydro cabinet with this strain was off the charts compared to soil. Maybe 8 ounces when dried? Time will tell, but this lady put out!

As we round the corner on this week the finish line is starting to come into sight! Ending the week on Day 68 from seed and these girls are really starting to shine! Front left is just a crystal packed beast with golf ball sized buds (or bigger) well spaced out along the stem, more like blueberry tends to grow. Front right is showing very similar traits, while back left and right are larger more connected buds, more like Slimer tends to grow. Cool to see the two different bud structures in the same grow, fun thing with autos you know they will be close but always some differences! Buds are just plumping and firming, getting ready for their big day on another few weeks. Water intake has slowed as expected for this stage in life, 32L every four days instead of every three. Was an easy week work wise, just a light defoliation of mainly the back two plants, probably 20 or so leaves each. Back two are still seeming to be maybe a week behind front two, but they seem to be catching up fast. May have to get the second reservoir set up at the end of need to ween first two off the feed earlier than last two. Good thing is I have three full sets of AutoPots so not a problem, although I may have a problem with collecting grow gear hahaha. Can't help myself, I see stuff selling for super cheap used or clearance from stores closing and think "sure I could use another set of those". Got my last set of 15L pots in upgrade packs on clearance. Each pack came with the pot, the tray, and the 5.0 valve with all the fixings for just !!! Honestly how do you say no to that I don't know. I’m so excited for the coming weeks and i hope that 4 plants aren’t to much for my little tent. My last autoflowers were not very successful, but I’ve learned from them. For the next few weeks I’ll start with only water (pH around 6.4) and introduce fertiliser very slowly. This time I’m using BioBizz-Products (incl. BioBizz-LightMix) because LightMix is good for autoflowers and I didn't have to buy anything new. I’m not completely sure if defoliation is a good idea, bud maybe I’ve to do it because of the small space. ----- Germination ----- 4 Peat Pellets with 26ml water each. Every 12 hours I’ll spray them with water. Had them in darkness for the first 24 hours. After 72 hours (01/26) 3 out of 4 seeds came to life. After 96 hours (01/27) all 4 seeds were successful and I transferred them to there new BioBizz LightMix home. On day 5 I gave each plant 250ml ph-controlled water. ----- Preparations ----- A few days before starting I’ve dismantled my grow box to give it a deep cleaning. Topped this girl this week. Growing pretty good so far. I’ll be potting up to 3 gal pots next week sometime. I also have a Bison Brew that I’ll be using sometime after transplant.

Week 10 : Well the plants suffered a bit from the adjustment to bottom feeding. Didn't help that there was a heat wave while i was away - oh well , on wards ! Maybe they're showing signs of underwatering, i can tell from a bit of droop and dryish leaves. Plants showing a bit of light stress from growing without adjustments while i was gone. Started the PK Booster tea when I got back , that's just mixed in a bucket with a bubbler overnight. I feed top of next week. These have started to concentrate on packing weight now, and the mr. B's is starting to look real pro with 3 main colas that might need support. The biotabs one is still towering, i see some calcium issues coming on, but nothing i can really do at this point. Oh well. The vertafort plant is getting smothered by the six shooter and her sister in the corner. overall though, healthy as you can expect plants that have been left for over ten days with a HID too close lol, oh and by the way I noticed my timer got some keys smushed in and the light was basically on twice around the middle of the night. doh! what a dunce ! took me a week to catch it aswell lol cant believe it 🚀

All seems well so far. Had a nice sprout towards the end of week 2. All six plants now how adult leaves. Raised the CO2 levels this week. Plants seem to be enjoying it.

3 weeks of flowering behind us, the girls are growing up and two Strawberry Bananas have pulled out, but otherwise it works .. There's still something to catch, I just don't know why the tips and leaves of the young branches are twisting? He poured clear water here and the rest got a normal planned watering.

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better! [END OF WEEK 02]

i feed with nutes last watering about two days ago my idea is to feed one more time before the two week flush not really sure yet i have at lease a week to figure it out being the end of the plants life cycle is soposed to end in another week idk master growers were yall at?????😅
