Well the flower week is finally upon us they are getting a huge block opening up the canopy exposing Bud sites letting the wind blow through those beautiful structures. I will have more updates as the week goes on stay tuned. I took ALOT off , I know , I know , lots of people will say , what the heck is this grower doing ?!? Well all I can say is .......... WAIT . This ain't my first rodeo. Pictures will follow , Why did I get rid of all the leaves ? 1) increase airflow 2) increase light to bud sites 3) to prevent mold . So many times I have done this and everytime, I ask myself , was it too much ??? A week later the plant will have pretty much , somehow, grown all the leaves back !!! You will have to wait and see just like me !!!

Have had some nice growth. The brown dotts on lower leafs have gone away(fixed the nutrients) have a stronger led light coming friday so maybe it will help the bloom.

Day#29Update : I took off about 8-10 fan leaves although I really did not want to take anything . I pony-tailed her main top although I wanted to pony-tail each of her tops . I’m hoping this second lite defoliation establishes those lateral branches letting them become symmetrical with the main top . If this happens I’ll pony-tail each branch for a day or two then when I untie them I’ll top each branch . For now that’s the plan , make as many arms “branches” with equal growth to the central “main” branch . Day#30 update : she’s been ponytailed for an entire 24hrs which is a 1st she always breaks out of the tie . This makes me happy I timed it better . Usually I ponytail her top when it’s slightly to large/strong so the benefits are short lived at most about 8hrs which still definitely helped those lateral branches reach the light but I was aiming to ponytail her at a smaller growth so that it would remain restrained until I decided to remove it . She’s almost ready for a drink . She could go for one today but I really want to wait until she’s absolutely famished and begging for it . So I’m going to wait another day or two then water her until runoff . The last time she received water was day #24. Day#31Update: well she’s still pony-tailed ! I’m shocked and amused . I’ll let her down finally tomorrow . Made it through an entire month she’s only gotten more beautiful since fixing the VPD issue. I broke and gave her water before she was absolutely begging for it . Mainly to address the low and falling humidity in my tent . I don’t want to lose anymore precious time dealing with issues and setback on those autos finishing up in here . After I last watered the tent day #24 I did a massive leaf defoliation of the flowering girls which dropped the overall tent humidity massively . So I adjusted the intake/exhaust fans as well as the oscillating fan to allow the humidity to rise in the tent . That worked well enough until but as the girls drink slowly the humidity is back falling again into the 45s. I don’t want it in the 40s until buds are swollen . I mixed up a gallon on water and added an ounce of trace micronutrients to it and ph’d it down to 6.4 loaded it into a 1gallon sprayer & sprayed my 3 autos . Having a little less than 1/4 gallon of this full strength solution I decided to see what my Cereal milk plant was made of and gave it to her . I haven’t given any of these girls a full strength dose of anything other than the Gaia Green . At day 42 & Day 35 of the autos in flower I did a too dress of flower nutes & a week later all 3 ladies showed burnt tips so I very well may exacerbate the issue by giving them a full stenches feeding of micronutrients . “Cellie” who went into this 1 gallon pot day#9 is showing what looks hunger signs with the yellowing of the lower leaves . Maybe because I’m letting her go thristy considering there should be 28 days of food in this medium at minimum really even more considering I added more than the recommended amount . So we’ll see. Month 1 Veg went great excited to see what kind of bush she looks like at the end of month 2 and fingers crossed by month 3 she’ll be read to flip to flower and scrog down Day#32 Update: RELEASE FROM PONYTAIL PRISON so to speak 😭. She has so many tops already ! It’s going to be a pleasure and a joy to defoliate her , ponytail all her tops for a couple days , then release the ponytails & top all the main tops once to widen her up some more ! She hasn’t shown signs of stress from that full strength micronutrient feeding I gave her last night so that’s wonderful . She’s going to look absolutely crazy when I strip her bare of a lot of these leaves and ponytail those tops BUT the woman she will be once she fills back out will be worth the temporary tragedy . It will take her relatively 14 days to rebound from the defoliation I’m going to put on her if I go as heavy as I’m planning to .

25.07.21 Tag 51 der vegi hab alle Ladys neu runter gebunden und Lady nr.4 getoppt und ausgehackt werde die Stangen die ich für die Tomaten Halterung gebastelt habe entfernen sobald die Pflanzen aussen herum gewachsen sind und den Ring dann am Topf fixieren zur Spreizung der Äste,ich glaube das die Pflanze sonst die Stäbe einfach hoch drücken wird........... 27.07.21 Tag 53 hab heut morgen mich darum gekümmert das die Riesen Töpfe etwas erhöht stehen damit die Luft unterm Topf zirkulieren kann und die Töpfe nach dem Giessen nicht Klatsch nass stehen sondern noch nach Tropfen können, habe dafür mein altes Gestänge wo ich sonnst mein netzt drauf Spanne zum scroggen verwendet is ja knapp 90x90 gross mit festem Hühnerdraht aufgespannt Steine seitlich an den Ecken drunter und Holz in der Mitte zur Stabilisierung damit der Zaun nicht so stark biegt und die Töpfe somit nicht allzu stark schief stehen hat ganz gut geklappt wie ich finde. Zu den steckies 2 davon sind im Garten in einem 20 l Stofftopf gemeinsam ich weiss jetzt denken viele oh man das geht schief wir werden sehen ich experimentier so gerne. Der 3te Steckling steht beim Kumpel auf dem Balkon hab ich ihm geschenkt hatte kein Platz mehr dafür Bilder von den draussen stehenden Pflanzen werde ich gelegentlich hier mit einfügen will deswegen jetzt kein extra Bericht auf machen,bis die Tage ich komm wieder keine Frage ......... 28.07.21 Tag 4 Outdoor die Ladys haben sich in 4 Tagen verdoppelt und das obwohl sie sich den Topf teilen Mal sehen was die nächsten Tage so bringen für die 2 steckies

Was a tough last few weeks lots of work to be done big problem with humidity finally sourced a good enough dehumidifier and added another 1200 light. Lemon skunks were suppose to be autos but no signs of flowering yet so I'm forcing them with 12/12. No room left in the tent now because photos are going into flower too

Another great week! Sweet Caroline looks to have stopped stretching and some buds are starting to form, so I'll be holding off on doing anything more than feeding her for a while. Might still trim the odd leaf, but probably only if it's dead. Day 57 - Light's at full power now. I want to ensure that im not burning her, but I want to maximise growth potential as well, so I'll be keeping an eye to see how she handles it. Day 60 - Fed 6 cups clean PH:6 T:21°C Day 61- Did a little bit of defoliation where some leaves had died off at the bottom. Took a bunch of the ties off from previous LST. The tent was getting full, so I repositioned some things for better light distribution. Also took a runt I had been growing out of the tent and into the backyard to give Sweet Caroline more room to breathe. Day 63- Fed .75 gallon of nutrient solution. PH: 6.01 PPM: 500 T:20°C Doubled up on the Micro and the Bloom, as my schedule for the week seemed a little lite. Overall, I'm happy with the Sweet Tooth Auto so far. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. 7/25 Did two videos this morning. One where I was only going to water the 3 gallons I had mixed up but it's going to be very hot this week. Didn't want to make the same mistake as last time so I watered everything AT LEAST A GALLON. I need to bump up the volume during these really hot, humid days abd it doesn't get worse then this. Things are getting dusty. Found an inch worm and some minor pest damage. Once it cools down ill spray something. Also noticing small nitrogen deficiency that takes a leaf and moves up the plant a little bit. I'm going to need to start nutes this week. I'll keep this updated. Went back over around one and everything was looking fantastic! Took a few pictures and defoliated a few leaves. UPDATE: I GOT A MESSAGE FROM DAD SAYING MY PLANTS LOOKED DROOPY. I HADNT MADE IT OVER FOR MY NIGHTLY INSPECTION BUT HAVING WATERED YESTERDAY I WAS THINKIBG OF SKIPPING IT. GOT THERE AND SAW THE FIRST 10TH PLANET DROOPY. ALL THE TENTH PLANETS LOOK RELATIVELY THE SAME BUT ONE OF THEM IS MY "CANARY IM A COAL MINE" AS IT DROOPS WAY BEFORE THE OTHERS. THE TWO BLUE CHEESES IN 20S THAT DRY OUT FASTER GOT TWO GALLONS AS DID MY 10TH PLANET CANARY AND MY BIG BLUE IN THE 50. ITS BEEN 90S AND SUNSHINE AND ITS ONLY GOING TO GET HOTTER. PUT UP ANOTHER CAMERA FACING THE OPPOSITE DRECTION SO I CAN SEE HIM NO MATTER WHAT. I WOULD STAY AWAY MR. BEAR. 7/27 Plants are looking FANTASTIC this morning. Soil is still damp this morning and bags are heavy as hell. They look super happy. Obviously my watering situation depends on the weather. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be the hottest days so I wanted to make sure the plants had sufficient water before this. I'll let them dry out totally before watering again. There's another four lined plant big somewhere that sat there and destroyed another leaf. I'm AT LEAST spraying with BT after this heat wave. Supposed to rain a little today with thunderstorms. I haven't got my supports up yet but if i need to I coukd throw my tarps up real quick. Don't think I'll need to though. These are some tough freaking plants and I am super proud of how they've turned out thus far. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER AND RE APPLIED BLEECH TO THE RAGS AND ON THE PERIMETER OF MY CAGE. I TACKED A FEW MORE DRYER SHEETS UP. REASON I DID THIS WAS BECAUSE WEVE BEEN GETTING HORRIBLE THUNDER STORMS WITH TORRENTIAL RAIN. THE WEATHER MAN HAD BEEN WRONG SEVERAL TIMES WARNING OF THUNDER STORMS AND WE WOULDNT GET SHIT. THIS TIME IT WAS PRETTY BAD. TOOK A SHORT VIDEO. Plants made it through unscathed despite the lack of a trellis. Today is supposed to be the hottest of these days. I think the hear wave ends today. I really need to get my supports up. I'm super lucky to not have had any breaks during the storm. I have a couple of videos I did but I didn't upload them earlier and now that I'm back in the woods I doubt they'll upload now. I'll give it a shot. If not I'll put them up tomorrow. OH! I found that four lined plant bug that had been fucking up my leaves and squished him. Well I hope it was him. If not I killed a sibling at least. UPDATE: JUST WOW. This morning all drooped over from the storm went over at 4 and its still 90 and they seem to have grown sic inches and jumped forward WAY more into flower. I am amazed. I'll upload a photo or two but I took a video I'll put up tomorrow. Super stoked. Oh and you can give me a red smile face for not using nutes every week @growdiaries but you point out the deficiency then I'll fix it. 7/29 Plants looking fantastic this morning. UPDATE: PLANNED ON NOT GOING TO THECGROW TOMOGHT SEEING THAT IT HAD RAINED SO HARD AMD THAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO GET RAIN TONIGHT. I GET THERE AT ABOUT FIVE AND MY CANARY AND A FEWCOTHERS WERE DROOPING! IT WAS IN THE 80S ALL DAY. I GAVE EACH PLANT A GALLON OF WATER. THE GROW BAGS ON THE TEO WORST PLANTS WERE SUBSTANTIALLY LIGHTER THAN THE REST. I HOPE IM NOT OVERWATERING. THE PLANTS SEEMED TO PICK BACK UP AFTER WATERING BUT ILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW TO UPLOAD MY PICTURES AND VIDEOS. I NEEDED TO ADD TEMPORARY SUPPORTS TO A COUPLE DIFFERENT PLANTS. IM CERTAINLY GLAD I GOT THE URGE TO GO OVER. WHAT A CHANGE IN A FEW HOURS 7/30 Plants are really growing fast and transitioning quick to flower. We got almost no rain so I'm glad I watered like I was supposed to even though the bags had some heft to them. I'm noticing more pest damage. I'm thinking a bt spray tonight might be beneficial. I'll look through what I've got on hand. I may just give them an application of spinosid but we'll see. I still need to move things and put my supports up. Medical problems have slowed me down. UPDATE: Went to check the plants around 3 and they looked great. Bags were still heavy and a little bit moist. I think with the added rain some of the plants may have been overwatered. I should have only watered tue bags that felt light. There is only one plant now that looks a little overwatered and even that is looking good. I found some more minor pest damage. Winds were fairly high. I wondered about my trellis netting but it hadn't been sanitized and my plants are very healthy so I decided to wait. I watched them dance like willows in the wind. I know it won't be like that with big ol colas on them but for right now it's working out just fine. Goal for next week is to move the front row back and move things around to better utilize space, possibly spray for pest and add supports for final flowering after I get the plants situated how I want them. If I do it right I may be able to lst some. Also took a 2 minute video but I cant upload until tomorrow. 7/31 I'm wondering about my watering habits. This morning I watered a couple blue cheese and purple punch plants with just a half gallon as they were light and looked drooping. I'm wonderingvif I'm overwatering. Some plants still seem heavy while others are light? I think the plants may have been overwatered due to the torrential rain and my taking less time hand watering. Hopefully I won't come home from this doctors appointment to wilted plants but I really doubt it. 10th planet requires far less water than the two other strains. Even specific phenos require more water and its difficult with the different size containers but im working with what ive got. I need more ph down and I've gotta get these plants supported. These are some massive plants. Store was closed. Dispensary was opened. Showed my buddy the video then it started raining. By the time I got there the plants looked horrible. Everything was droopy but a couple were really bad. A few weren't bad at all. Actually the one in the ten needed it. I think I just need to give more water at a time and document how I water each plant individually. I also need to take into consideration the weather. Hard to do when it's so unpredictable. I'll wait for them to dry out and then I plan to start low doses of big bloom and grow big but I need to wait for them to dry out first. Then next watering they'll get some nutes. It's sunny now so I may go check my plants. I may also put a fan out for a while on the bags. That might help them out.

Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. painted the senecas for sure, culled the male. both turkish are pretty well seeded out, i’m thinking maybe 20-30 seeds each, 15 fully formed and good. the senecas look lightly pollinated, maybe 15-20, 10 fully formed and good. still will be usable beans. next run after this will be good, hopefully stable genetics. gonna try for a turkish male and focus on the turkish x afghan cross, while saving the seneca x turkish for later.
