Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. More light they see and colder is the place,slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(-If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster by Plagron. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. If you follow these steps, you will hardly have problem of non-germinating seeds. I tried all methods (except rockwool cube) and in the last two years (and I germinated a lot of seeds) I can tell that this is the faster and reliable way. I loved to use paper towel but with this metod is very easy to put too much water and it will be slow down the germination step. I really hope that this "rule" will help noob growers and maybe will help other growers to improve their skills. I personally do the step by step draw guide. She just had her first 4th week nutrients this morning and she's loving it. I really had my doubts about this plant making it in those early days but here she is standing taller than the rest (being a sativa hybrid helps). Day 31 - I screwed up big time last night and accidentally clipped a stem, so stupid. I decided to try my hand at cloning, lol, maybe I'll get lucky and get a baby bud.

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

Bueno , este es el segundo cultivo que realizó del la cepa "Waka" , el anterior lo tengo igualmente documentado en otro diario . en esta ocasión cultivamos los clones que habíamos recolectado del cultivo pasado , guardando los fenotipos que nos gustaron más y los clones restantes los pasamos a floración que fueron los que se le hizo seguimiento en este diario. El crecimiento fue bastante explosivo y reaccionaron muy bien a cada trasplante realizado . pude observar que los clones de cada fenotipo seleccionado se desarrolló con mucha similitud al de sus madres . El olor en vegetación es bastante discreto y en floración se pone un más intenso El desarrollo en floración fue explosivo generando bastante resina y se vieron muy hambientras . Al fumar se puede sentir un rico toque cítrico en las N° 4 se siente un fuerte sabor a limón en algunas flores mucho mas marcado que en otras, N° 3 y 13 un agradable toque a naranjas muy rico de sentir en el paladar , La N° 8 con pizcas dulces bastante interesantes. El humo al fumar es muy suave lo que permite sentir mejor el sabor de cada fenotipo.- saludos y buenos humos😉 Al momento de cosechar se cortaron los clone y se dejo secando en oscuridad a temperatura ambiente por cerca de 16 días posterior a eso se pasó a curar en frascos

Day 14 of FLOWER/ day 63 of grow: Starting on day 9-10 of flower we started seeing those first little white hairs coming out.. around day 12-13 buds have actually started forming and almost every plant now is in that stage of growth kosher Kush #1 (front middle) had a Little bit of problems with nutrients and pH so after fixing that last week the plant itself started to takeoff almost done stretching so now we’re actually starting to see those bud sites starting to grow! The BlueBerry by Seedsman was definitely a Wild Card .. it is still stretching ! Today I’m going to go in and do some LST/HST but honestly I’m not too worried about having equal light penetration on the entire canopy because I have so many full spectrum LED’s I can adjust and move the lights as needed for full light exposure to the other plants. I’ve been starting a new feed and they seem to love it ! The dry amendments are starting to dissipate and you can tell that the plants are getting hungrier and hungrier ! After feeding them .5 gallons of feed within 12 hours they are itching for their next feeding. The smell in the tent is a very Kushy smell with some skunky undertones from the washing machine.. I’m using my own kind of support for these flowers because I didn’t want to go through the haste of a Scrog net it almost felt too crowded and it was just asking to snap a branch. Instead I’m using 4 ft long wooden poles and running them through each other creating a scrog pattern! So far so good with this set up! (Experiment): with the blueberry clone I have just left it a little bit to the side and it has exploded at first it was about 1 inch tall and was barely growing anything.. after moving it into the 12/12 tent it has stretched over 10 inches tall with about 8 to 10 bud sites honestly I’m quite excited to smoke on her!! PS I’m doing the entire cycle in a solo cup! Day 38 since starting germination: Everything is looking healthy and happy. I’ve FIMed the main and continued leaf tucking & LST. Upped the amount of Diamond nectar from 1ml/gal to 2ml/gal. Keeping the lights on 20/4 has kept the average low temp a degree higher at 66. I also changed the positioning of the lights. Now the Mars Hydro tsl2000 is providing ~500-550 ppfd across the canopy. At this point the plants in the RDWC loop have different nutrient needs so when I did my water change I also changed the orientation of my buckets. I removed the bucket with the Northern Lights photo period from the loop so it could be connected to its own reservoir and be fed a veg nutrient solution while the Sour D auto gets its bloom nutrients.

All of the dosidos’ ended up dying. Hope it was a case of weak genetics and not my incompetence because the northern lights seems to be completely okay, and we’re about 2 and a half weeks in now. Next node is coming in and the plant is really kicking into fast growth now around 4~5th May.
