De vuelta familia, traemos esta semana y es que ya recuperamos unos problemas que surgieron por el trasplante(no les sentó bien). Después de trasplantarlas el sustrato no secaba bien los primeros días y se marchitaron 4 hojas, con algo de alimentación, esperar algo más entre riego y riego, solucionamos el problema y a seguir adelante. Ph controlado en 6.5 alimentando todo con la gama jungle y adicionales de advanded nutrients. Quitando esos pequeños quebraderos de cabeza, esta variedad es bastante sensible a la temperatura y hay que tener cuidado, porque marca muy rápido los síntomas. No obstante no quiere decir que sea mala cepa, si no tener algo más de experiencia y pericia. Es la única variedad que nos afectó algo la temperatura baja por la noche. Pero sin Serios problemas

I was still seeing strange things happen in the leaves but runoff pH was staying at around 6.5. One plant toppled over and started growing up from a bent stalk like an herb. I started looking for a new reflector so that I could mount my light horizontally instead of vertically to save space and ideally find a way to get the plants closer to the light without burning them. I started looking into MH bulbs as well as I figured at this point I clearly hadn't provided the light they needed. If I wanted them to thrive I needed to set them up properly for the last few weeks of veg. I transplanted this week into slightly bigger coco pots but in retrospect I feel I should have gone up to 3 gallon pots at this point.

Here comes the week 12. West Coast OG looks huge, what i can't say about Californian Snow, in some moment it buds stopped growing and im not sure about the harverst. what do you think should i give it extra week ?

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. 🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸 – Mother Gorilla – Vegetative Stage – Week 4 The plant has recovered from last week’s defoliation, although I have noticed a slight decrease in its vigor. I believe this is normal, but it’s still progressing and growing. Environmental Conditions • Humidity: 70% • Temperature: ~78.8°F • pH Level: Still between 5.8 and 6.2; it had slightly increased, so I adjusted it back down to 5.8 • VPD: Still between 0.4 and 0.8, which is fine Most of the heavy work was done last week, so this week has been more about maintaining progress. I’m continuing to train the plant using the SCROG method, carefully tucking branches underneath the net whenever possible. I also did a light defoliation to maximize light penetration for the new developing branches that are forming new growth sites. I’m still waiting for my new nutrients, which should arrive this week. That means I’ll finally be able to switch to a proper nutrient solution. So far, I’ve only been using Formulex, which has worked fine, but I believe it’s now time to transition to proper vegetative nutrients. Regarding the roots, they still seem to be developing well (secondary rootlets). For now, everything is going smoothly. The plant has recovered from defoliation and, most importantly, from topping. I will continue training it carefully, and we’ll see how it evolves over the coming week. Looking forward to next week—we’ll keep a close eye on the progress. See you next week! Journal de Culture – Mother Gorilla – Croissance – Semaine 4 La plante a récupéré de la défoliation de la semaine dernière, même si je note quand même une diminution de sa vigueur. Je pense que c’est normal, mais elle continue d’évoluer et de pousser. Constantes environnementales • Humidité : 70% • Température : ~26°C • pH : Toujours entre 5.8 et 6.2 ; il avait un peu augmenté, donc je l’ai redescendu à 5.8 • VPD : Toujours entre 0.4 et 0.8, donc tout est bon Le gros du travail ayant été fait la semaine dernière, cette semaine est surtout consacrée au suivi et à l’entretien. Je continue tranquillement le palissage avec le SCROG, en replaçant les branches sous le filet lorsque c’est possible. J’ai aussi fait une légère défoliation pour maximiser la pénétration de la lumière sur les nouvelles petites branches qui forment de nouveaux sites de croissance. J’attends toujours mes nouveaux nutriments, qui devraient arriver cette semaine. Je vais enfin pouvoir passer sur une véritable solution nutritive. Jusqu’à présent, j’ai uniquement utilisé Formulex, ce qui convenait, mais je pense qu’il est maintenant temps de passer aux engrais de croissance. Concernant les racines, elles ont l’air de bien se développer (radicelles secondaires). Pour l’instant, tout suit son cours. La plante a bien récupéré de sa défoliation et surtout de son topping. Je vais poursuivre le palissage tranquillement et on va suivre son évolution jusqu’à la semaine prochaine. Hâte d’être à la semaine prochaine, on va suivre ça de près. 🤘😎

RSQ Wedding Cake has just start producing hairs but still not in flower yet. FB Cherry Cola has already started producing some Icy . SS Bruce Banner has an issue going on, I've got mixed reviews on what it could be. Added about 8ml of Athena IPM to the water for that one. Hopefully she snaps back and grows strong

Almost done, leds are really forcing those red colors a lot more than HPS, this strain really look like a mini dragon after feasting and covered with blood splashes, she smells very nice of sweet lemony vanilla skunk. I find this strain very easy to grow and perfect for my environment because buds are small and leaves are few so no bud rot risks, perfect size and bulk for my grow room! Going to be easy to trim, and buds are very compact and a good amount of trichomes covering them. Love cookies!
