Amnesia is 5 weeks today. Lots to say about this one, as expected she is big and bendy, so bendy in fact that I was able to try out my new LST clips on her and they work pretty well, able to ben the branches 90 degrees without snapping and the clips hold it all in place instead of trying to stand up again. I was even able to use them on the much more rigid Jack47. So this enabled me to have a scrog effect. The flowers are coming along fast. Can't wait to see how this ends up. The Jack 47 is not too rigid but it's thick branches would normally just be left till they grow long enough to try and bend them out a bit without snapping them off at the stem. However I was even able to get some LST clips into this and form a lower canopy with the two topped branches coming out the top. I may also flatten them out later depending on what happens. Now that she is flipping I'm expecting some good growth next week, but I don't know, never grown this one before, my LST work made all the beautiful large lower fan leaves point downwards, I removed them all today. Gorilla Cookies, what to say about this genetic monstrosity, she it beginning to stretch. The only reason I'm not throwing this out is that I want to be certain that it is a Gorilla Cookie, because I planted a replacement bean, and it looks completely normal. I thought the fat leaves on the Gorilla was good when I first saw it, until I realised it wasn't.

Day 77 Week 4 of flower #3 is the only one that has any smells Watering every day, feeding every other

So pleased with the growth, this week I put a net up to separate out the buds a bit and trimmed the plants to try and get more light to the lower buds. Instead of replacing the water, I'm now directly recycling and adding nutrients and additives. I found the easiest way was to pump the system out into another bucket so I could measure more accurately how much to add and then replace the mix back in the system. The grow room smells wonderful. I'm so looking forward to when I can try it.

So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

Hi all! Not all that much to report. Flowering in going well with the girls producing more and more crystal looking trichomes and steady bud growth. There is definitely a noticably more pungeant smell every day and I get lovely wafts of gas in the mid afternoon air after the tent lights turn on. I have just been continuing the feeds of water and liquid seaweed. The girls are drinking more often (now about 5 litres each every couple of days) but it may also be due to the hot weather lately. I did amend my topsoil again with my nutrient amendment mix as I had noticed Pheno 1 was looking a little light in her usual strong dark green. As you can see she has responded well and has some more colour in those cheeks. Ive made another video for you all to enjoy (at least i think so!) and included a pic of my feeding/potting station. Its an old Tea Trolley made by either my great grand father or great great grandfather. I love this trolley and its had a lot of use but I cant say its ever been used for its intended purpose! 😂 Feel free to drop me any questions or a like on the diary if the mood grabs you 😏. D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 19-20C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 47% light ON ; 48-53% light OFF D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 125PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7.1 and 260PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 250PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 46% light ON ; 46-48% light OFF D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 45% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: PH6.2, 123PPM, less then a gallon each - run off: PH7.4 and 200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.4 and 287PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: less then a gallon each - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong. - temp: 22-23C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 47% light ON ; 43-45% light OFF

All went well this week, apart from my phmeter breaking... I guess more two weeks of waiting. The colas are well developed, but the lower flowers ain't. But both are full of tricomes.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. November 6, 2021 They are both still going. The Blackberry is starting to foxtail. I still don't see any amber trichomes and I have not seen the calyx's swell yet. These plants have 2 more weeks max. As soon as the photos are ready to flip to flower, I'm harvesting these autos - ready or not.

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

This week was all about watching Tricombes... Her buds are fattening up nicely, especially since she has received no training really.. She is smelling my balcony up with hints of sexyness everywhere.. She has been an absolute pleasure to grow outdoors.. Only issue this week was humidity..It's really difficult to control outdoors...that has been my only challenge.. I brought her in for a few pics.. And this is what she has turned out to ❤️💚❤️💚

D78 - We're just starting week seven of flower, and the girls are rocking it in the tent. I'm thrilled with how they are coming along. The buds are fattening up, with a more intense smell than they had only a few days ago. I'm starting to see the first signs of fading, and the trichomes are clear/milky with an odd amber here and there. I estimate that chop day is a couple of weeks off, which would bring it to eight weeks of flower. ________________________________ D80 - Pics ________________________________ D82 - I have been stuck in trim jail so it has been a couple of days since I looked in on the girls. They didn't miss me though as everything is just humming along. They look and smell amazing, citrus and pine, and the buds are fattening up with each passing day. Some additional fade but not much, to be honest. ________________________________ D84 - We are indeed on the home stretch at the end of the seventh week of flower. The girls look great with only a slight fade until now. I'm starting to see some amber trichomes but want more before harvest. Judging from how the trichomes have progressed this week, I say chop day is a week off.

Подгибать перестал полностью. Соцветия начали потихоньку расти вширь. Заметил, что там, где света очень много (близко к лампе) соцветия более мелкие, чем чуть вдали. И там, где ветки близко к лампе на кончиках начинает альбиносить. Это не сильно плохо, но и не шибко хорошо. Такие соцветия чуть меньше содержат ТГК и чуть менее ароматные. В остальном ничего страшного. Влажность высокая очень, но тут уже ничего не сделать. Так как растение практически полностью заполнило весь бокс. Ночью до 80 доходит, днём в районе 70. Не знаю удастся ли избежать плесени, но тут уже как будет🤷‍♂️ Пьёт сейчас очень хорошо. До 4л в сутки. Собственно ответ - откуда такая влажность😏 Добавил доп свет сбоку. 50вт, две матрицы на радиаторе. Чтоб хоть немного снизу развивались соцветия. Не хочется иметь ведро попкорна.
