Sadly I lost 2 plants this week. Something stressed the garden out. Lost 1 BGK and 1 Critical.

This is week 3 with the addition of a purple kush auto (middle) I'm amazed at how well they are doing outside 😊

This was an interesting harvest. Everything was going great and the buds/trichomes were still piling on, when suddenly almost overnight plant "C" shifted to about 20% amber trichomes. So I harvested it, and because the other plant wasn't ready yet I decided to try water curing the first one for 7 days. Then at the end of the 7 days, I figured I'd hack down plant "D" and dry them both on the racks in the tent at the same time before moving into jars. The water curing was a huge success! After the first day, the water was cloudy with a slight green tinge. Second day was about the same. Then the water was just a little cloudy each change, no green tinge. Compare it to the diary I just opened around water re-curing some cannabis I bought from the government store, where the water is diarrhea brown :O On day 7 of my water cure, the water was perfectly clear so I decided to hack down plant "D" and get them both drying on racks in the tent together. While water-curing plant "C", I had its trim sitting in a bowl in the freezer. When I hacked down plant "D", I put its trim in the same bowl. After my typical wet-trimming, I hung up Plant "C"'s water-cured buds on the top rack, plant "D"'s buds on the 2nd rack for an old fashioned cure, and random trim from both plants spread out on the bottom 2 racks. The water-cured buds dried within about 24 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack. The buds are SUPER dense and potent! Nice clean high, doesn't kill my throat. The downside is that the taste is really weak and not that great. But everything has pros and cons. Almost no trichome loss in the bucket during the water curing as well -- I was really worried about that! The other buds dried in about 36 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack, where I burped it many times a day for a week. The smell and flavour are much more potent than the water-cured bud and it's a little harsher on my throat, but otherwise I'm not sure there's a detectable difference. However, you can SEE there's a sharp visual difference between the water-cured buds and the jar-cured :) Of course the jar-cured will mature more with time as well. Once the trim was completely dry, I put it in a bag in the deep freezer and dropped it to about -20. I didn't need to use a grinder this way -- I could just mash it all up in the bag with extreme ease! Sifted it through the kief screen, and pressed down 17 grams of lazy-man's hash! After processing the trim through the kief screen, I decarbed in the oven at 200F for 1 hour (this converts THC-A into THC or something to that effect -- if you don't do this, the edibles won't get you very high). I put the trim into a big mason jar and back into the freezer along with my bottle of Everclear. Once they dropped somewhere down around -20, I poured in the Everclear, put the lid on, and shook as hard as I could, as often as I could, for 5 minutes or so. I noticed that as I shook it around, the contents inside would alternate between solid and liquid which was kinda cool :) Shake it one way and it freezes, shake it the other way and it thaws... or something to that effect, anyway. I was able to use a double-coffee-filter to extract about 2 cups of dragon tincture! I threw everything in the coffee filter out -- next time I'm going to do a better job of it as there's a little pile of trichomes that forms at the bottom of the filter which I could put to use. Once I get that down next harvest, I'll have around 99% efficiency milking every last drop out of my harvests! White chocolate is so yummy, as are candy canes... I wanted to combine the two to make some edibles. Looking around for candy cane crush, I decided to check out Amazon. They had the same candy cane crush I was looking at from popular stores, for only a couple dollars more, so I figured sure why not have it delivered. I was planning to get some white Baker's chocolate, but on checkout of the candy cane crush I got a deal for adding on white chocolate Lindt bars for $1.25 a piece LOL! So I bought 10 of those. When the Amazon package arrived, I slowly boiled down 1/2 cup of my dragon tincture in a pot, then used a double-boiler setup to melt down 4 of the Lindt bars in the same pot. Once it was mixed well with the hash oil, I set it aside to cool for about 3 minutes before stirring in 1/8 cup of candy cane crush (plus I ended up adding maybe like a tablespoon more), pouring into a pan lined with parchment paper, and putting in the freezer for 30 minutes. So now I have a nice big chunk of white chocolate candy cane crunch stuff where a piece the size of my thumb gets me super high for like 8+ hours; 17 grams of lazy-man's hash; and 88 grams of bud :) And still enough dragon tincture left over to make 3 more rounds of edibles -- not sure what I'll make next! From now on I'm going to water cure a large portion of all my buds -- not just the ones I grow myself, but ones I buy from the Gummint too!

Well the genetics from this line still continue to impress me they are quick germinating seeds and have a fast growth rate once in the ground . I wanted to try these strains for a while and was hoping this would be a great to smoke . I'm not disappointed at all it's got great terps and Dense buds with sticky trichomes . The plant grew like an indica in fan leaf shape but had long colas almost like a sativa .. The grow was organic for the most part and gave me the chance to try a legendary strain . She had a great outdoors presence its a gorgeous flower to run outdoors had no issues with the bud rot and pm was almost never there .. That being said better training with a more steady feeding. Line up would have gotten me a better harvests but for now I'm happy with it .. next year I will do a few more strains I got left ( stinkin bishop )

9/11 Week 22 Looking better seem to have closed the Phos hole in my nuets, in the future pots will be amended with it from the start. 9/13 Weather degrading (heh relative term) plan to harvest Poly on next spat of "good" weather, Zona couple of weeks tops. Poly water only but there is plenty of nuets in that pot. 9/14 No decent sun today at all, high humidity forecast is saying it just gets worse from here (heh like those guys know) but if true I need to harvest poly ahead of it which may mean tomorrow. Decide then see if forecasts change. Next year things will be different damit 9/15 Day 146 of the grow and Poly's last day Weather is entirely the reason for taking her a bit early, wanted to prep her a bit more but thats life in the outdoors. She has a beautiful day for her last, she was never any trouble and grew well, I am glad to have grown her, she is a good girl. 12/12/24 Short Facts: Watered: 1 x 2.4L, 1 x 2.5L, 1 x 2.5L — Total: 7.4L VPD @ 1.4 Light @ 70% (~700 to 950 PPFD) Stopped watering with fertilizers, only water, CalMag and Silicia Force --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’ve stopped watering with fertilizer because I’m planning to harvest her in the coming days. You can already see that she’s slowly dying. I hope she’ll put all her remaining energy into her flowers in these final days. I’m going to dry her, but only because there’s a new method I want to try. You can now place the harvested buds into a special plastic bag immediately after harvest. These bags are designed to let water out while preserving the terpenes almost completely intact. One of the German grow shops selling these bags tested different samples in a lab, and the results seem to support their claims. If it works, great! If not and the harvest ends up molding, I don’t mind. 98% of the harvest will already have to be trashed due to the legal limit.

Noticing more seeds poppin thru, I hope it's from the moonshine cookies pollen cuz the female turned out bomb and the male wasnt too bad either so they might be decent seeds. Started the flush on the citradellic and the other ones might have got their last feed yesterday. Should be finishing up next week and the week after.

Leaf scaring getting worse but seems to have stopped progressing. Buds look amazing and can't complain about tricome production.

I didn't train her this week, I'll do it again next week :-). It was poured twice this week with 1.2 l each time (see nutrient table above for adding nutrients). I sprayed them all with GreenBuzzLiquida Fast Plant spray. I also cleaned the entire tent and checked everyone's health. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters. Yellow boards against flies have been put up and blue tags to prevent trips. Unfortunately I still struggle with them but they have become significantly less pushed. I think in a few weeks the last story should be :-). Otherwise, like every day, they were looked at and petted for a while ;-). Just before the start of day 35. Had a small ph issue that needed correction and she didn't like the amount of water she got, so she faded on me a bit. PH issue is corrected though and i shouldn't lose more than a couple of days of development. Buds are right on track and will start to fatten up from here.

Today the 3 will continue getting flushed while the 3 others get there dose of nutrients, PHd at 6.5! Let’s grow lil ladies let’s grow!!! Just starting week 5 will keep updating as I go been having a couple issues lately with some of the top fan leaves, they've been starting to get a couple brown spots on 3-4 of the fan leaves not sure what the problem is yet if anyone has any suggestions let me know. Update: Just ordered in a new ph meter from Apera I'm pretty sure my cheap $15 dollar ph meter was all sorts of messed up. UPDATE: ec going in .7 runoff ec .86, ph going in 5.7 runoff ph 6.6 I'll see if the ph goes down now that I have the new ph meter my old one was definitely off. UPDATE: Got the EC down to .4 gonna start slowly introducing nutrients back in, also got the medium pH down to 6.1 from 6.6. Finishing up week 5 think I've gotten things under control now just need to get my EC back up now showing a couple signs up deficiencies on some leaves but nothing too bad, I'm thinking Week 6 will start flower. Did a Flush this Week now looking back on it I shouldn't have done that that caused my plant to go into a deficiency, what I should've done was not flush with half strength nutes I should've used normal strength nutes but just lower the ph more that was the real problem.
