Day 10: They have been growing nicely. Beautifull green leafs, no deficiencies or stress. I did some Defoliation and I'm planning to top some plants but not all of them since they make nice main colas as well. Also nice roots so far, will let those grow for another 1-3 days before repotting them into 7L pots. While doing that I will add some new clay for beneeth the pots to have a good run-off. I will add some mycorizza as well to improve the roots and I will water them again with lots of Regulator(anti-stress) and Rhyzotonic( root stimilator). Some days after that, they are ready to get pushed into flowering. Sativas like to grow twice and sometimes even more in size. So the size which they are at the end of this week will be enough. So at the end of this week you will see them being in 7L pots and in a bigger grow space under lots of lamps. There are like 3-5 plants not growing nicely. Might have to kill them. I'm not going to waste time,energy,nutrients on those if they don't grow in size in a couple of days. So might end up with just 235 plants. Il update again at the end of this week. Day 14: I almost finished the rest of the grow room. I still need to adjust and replace the lamps some more and other things. Did many defoliation below the plants. Thoose branches are never going to preduce nice and thick buds anyways. Such a waste of energy and nutrients. Because of the removing of branches and leafs, They get a better airflow and better exposure of light as well. So for now they look a little bit ugly haha and not so bushy anymore, but they will grow into fine looking ladies. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant and some bigger plants I even topped because I don't want them to stretch alot. Another reason is that I want bigger stems. If other plants that didnt get topped, not improving stems I can still top them until the end of week 1 of flowering. I'm putting them into flowering, by putting the lightschedule to 12hours of light and darkness. It will take a few days before they start preflowering. The first buds will be seen in like 10-14 days. A cinch to grow and really had no problems at all. It’s my first time trying anything from Mephisto Genetics and I’m very impressed. Gave nothing but filtered water after applying the 5 tbsp of grow dots at the beginning of veg. Went into flower pretty early but still grew to a nice size with a beautiful cola and had some great trichome production. Would definitely run it again!

Hello Diary. A pretty stressful week is behind us. It is now clear that the plants do not respond well. I suspect the lack of Cal-Mag. It's also possible that I put in too much BioBizz. Royal Haze # 1 is the most affected, I get Epsom salt and start watering them with only water and epsom salt. I am sad that this is what is happening right now, I hope to be able to recover them before the cycle is over. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12/12/2019. Day 43. Watering. After adjusting the pH to 6.3, I added epsom salt. One tablespoon per 3.5 liters of water. I usually water the plants in the evening, but today I watered them in the morning. 13/12/2019. Day 44. Watering. This time I watered in the evening, less than 48 hours since the last watering. I did the same thing as the day before. 15/12/2019. Day 46. Watering and taking photos. Today I watered the same as the two previous times. Adjust pH to 6.3 with BioBizz pH- and add epsom salt. I also measured the height of the plants and they may have grown 1 cm. 17/12/2019. Day 48. Watering. Today I only watered with pH regulated water. For now I don't see any changes to recover, I plan to go to a grow shop for some advice. 18/12/2019. Day 49. Photography. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All three plants have grown differently but they grow beautifully, the smell is strong, the flowers are filling well. I have to put them back in balance and everything will be great. Since Christmas is approaching and Grow Diaries has released a video contest, I have decided to celebrate my first grow diaries Christmas and made a video. I hope you will like it. Día 39. La temperatura viene siendo un gran problema. Hace mucho frío y de noche en el lugar que está el indoor no tengo calefacción. Así que probablemente haya una merma en el resultado. De todos modos ya puse la lana de roca a remojo para germinar la próxima cepa. Ahora voy a ver bien que configuración uso para el próximo cultivo. Esta configuración que usé no fue un buen aprovechamiento del espacio.

So this week I saw some decent bud development! There are a couple of colas with tips a little too close to the light, but they aren't getting super high PAR measurements so I think they're good. I added PK 13/14 this week, so I wanted to see some interesting changes. Not as much as I thought, but some flowers are noticeably much fatter than a few days ago. Had an issue with the top layer of my coco getting dry which I realised to be from the 15L dehumidifier I had in there, right next to my pot 😳 So that's now on full power in the room outside of the tent. The heat can be a bit of an issue, reaching 27-28c briefly some days. There's been a couple of fluctuations in the humidity, from 55% RH to 70%, so I've straightened the ducting and tried to perfect my ventilation and environment as much as possible. I'm debating buying a co2 bag to help my plant deal with the heat and intense light. The trichomes are really starting to show, with the 60x magnifier I can see so many cool heads. It just seems that my buds aren't really filling out beneath the pistils, causing me to worry. This week there were so many photos that even after picking out my favourites I ended up with 111 of them! Also, it's worth noting that the nutrient amounts I have listed are in *ml/1.5l. Week 3 males developing right on time! Pollen will be dispersing soon. So now trying to nail down who daddy was? Week 3 day 1 males looking very nice, no sign of either one showing female flowers( no hermaphrodite/ true male) but I will stress them more after reveg for severe stress test. For final results. Looks like I forgot to feed mom! Shit! But I did not.I used bio tone starter 5-1-1 by Espoma gonna feed in am. With tomato tone with myco 3-4-6 it's all I got and organic to boot 👍 Last grow with Captains cake went to 11 weeks 2 - 3 applications should get me to finish line. No flush should be needed, it's feeding the seeds growth. Looking at 07/01/2018 harvest. Fingers crossed! 05/05/2018 First burst of male pollen is flying in the air, gonna try to get video of it as I shake the males. I am brewing tea with worm castings unsulphured molasses,topped off with protilizer immediately after brewing it. Give them a little love (Tea) while they are making seeds👊

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. 6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.
