Start of week 8

FLUSH PERIOD…1ST OF 2 WEEKS NO NUTRIENTS NO CO2 This week is simply a lot of fresh air, lower temps and a lot of fresh 0.0EC RO water. First feed of the flush period I will flush the plants with 1x the pot size of water. So, I’m using 5 gallon pots…flush with 5 gallons of RO water ph’d to 5.8. Rest of the week I will feed like normal. Very little to no runoff of plain RO water. My theory is to let the plants eat the last bit of nutrients not just wash it out. This has always worked for me, so why change a good thing. One more time just in case nobody caught it on my other grow…I am looking for a few reputable growers to give me some smoke reports on what I’ve grown. DM me if you want a sample. She looks absolutely asimétricband gorgeous so beautiful producing very good resin,stinks very sweet and strong,but the aroma it's not well defined yet. Can't wait to see this girl in all her glory! 😍🤤💚🌱

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. 4-5-2021 Trace elements fix. i think everything is stable about 2/3 plants had some micro nutrition deficiency so i think tomorrow im gonna turn the watts from 280watt to 350watt , and some light defoliation max 5% Fun to grow : i just love her , Amazing plant she grows very well and easy, just 2 see her explode from week 4 till now is very impressive😱 growing in height stopt because i can see she putting some weight on her beautiful tops of enjoy.. These buds are exploding in growth and trichomes. I do a very light defoliation plucking fan leaves here and there every couple days. Wish I would have cleaned up more on the lower of some branches for less energy waste on larf, will have to see how it finishes since this is the first time I use the SE1000 at 100% intensity. Also want to mention that ever since I switched to water soluble Advanced Nutrients pro series the growth, development, visual, size, resin, scent and flavor of the buds has been day and night. Also it lasts ALOT longer compared to their liquid bottles, this is the second grow using it.

Royal Queen seeds are amazing. The plant is very healthy and growing in a fast rate. The plant did its 4 weeks of veg which i am very greatfull for. Now we will start flowering 💪

A couple of days ago I got home and a sublime smell of coffee pervaded the area. Smell it smells you I came to understand what was good when I started the flush of our wonderful Auto test #1. The colors have come out forcefully both in the hair and the leaves have taken on a fantastic color, the maturation at the top is practically finished at the bottom something is missing, the plant still drinks a lot and we are flushing as if there were no tomorrow. We don't know what this beauty is GHSC mouths are rightly kitchens because it will be out very soon we are sure of one thing, a smell of coffee that makes me tear my underwear, wonderful. Auto test #2 is a week late but because I planted her quite later, she has now started to apply color but she has been throwing resin everywhere for a while, she too will be scary. Had major struggles with humidity due to cold front, but got it in somewhat better ranges. My planet of the grapes started wilted/ drooping mid week [other strains were fine]. Did some research and it turned out they needed more water.[ I normally water every other day, feed every second feed and I top dressed before flipping].I fed them, got the humidity back in acceptable ranges. I also gave them some tea [molasses, banana peels, Gaia green bloom,all purpose and worm castings] They seem to be happier. Very eager to defoliate at end of this week been taking few leaves here and there but nothing crazy. Decided to build a suspended 2ply scrog net seems to be working great.
