MONDAY: First week of flowering nutrients: TUESDAY: Defoliated THURSDAY: starting to feed with 2ml Top Bloom + 1ml Top Candy Big One 1L sprayed + 2L water with Top Bloom Plant Three - accidentally broke the top of the main stem while doing LST - be careful, don't do it when in a hurry! It got bush again after less than a week, i think i am still waiting for the stretch, hope not too much.

Seeing the plant starting to fade. I keep checking tricomes to see when its ready but not yet. Posted many pics of my tricomes using a digital microscope.

Everything is looking amazing! All plants are at 4.5wks -5wks old now. Growth is extremely rapid. PPMS/PH of run off is less than what's going in! Still feeding to run off daily; vacuuming out the water everytime!! They're starting to need close to a gal. each :D I have defoliated & continue to pinch lower plant growth to lolly pop each branch -- I find this the best method hands down for autos.. The canopy for the most part is even with the exception of LSD-25, Fruit Punch, & most importantly; the one GSC (fast buds) -- it is a fucking monster as you can see (tallest plant by FAR). Cant wait to see the buds on what appears to be a Sativa dominate GSC pheno -- this plant was under the same 630w's worth of CMH along with the other GSC -- because it keeps growing, and was starting to developing light burn on leaves closer to the CMH's I've since switched spots with a GG#4 & it's now under two 600w LED's; growth continues to stretch on her, but I'm less concerned now that it's under less intense lighting, with a bigger distance from the lights . Other than that, things are looking to be on track for an epic harvest. Once buds start forming, I will drop the temps on the AC gradually to bring out the colors in GSC/LSD/Fruit Punch -- with lights/fans on full blast I can hold temps as low as 70f / 30% RH with the AC at less than 50% - Will be uploading more pics this weekend!

The final phase has begun now, we are getting close to harvest time. Therefore I have stopped giving nutrients and only give Ph-neutralized water (ph=6,0) to my 'Fruity Terp' ladies. This is the so called FLUSH and is very important. Only well flushed plants don't have any nutrients left in them, and will burn properly and smoke smoothly. A plant that gets nutrients up to the moment she is harvested, will be harsh to smoke and hurt in the throat on the inhale. Since this is my medicine I ALWAYS do flush of 7 to 10 day before I harvest my ladies. All my 12 plants have grown nice buds glistening with trichomes and smell WONDERFUL right now. A STRONG FRUITY AROMA is coming out of the tent every time I open it, its MOUTHWATERING! I can't wait for them to be ready to harvest soon...

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

Flowers got really dense like bricks, also the lower ones. Felt like starting the flush at the point I’m at to have the cleanest smoke possible. Have around 2 weeks to go, or till i have strong yellowing. Flushing with terpinator, flowers still getting bigger.

She was a gray big bush. Wish I could get her more dense but already popped 2 more of these beans bc it is one of my new fa new favorite strains.

Autos are doing alright this week. Very low RH has kept them from being their best selves. No worries, early season growing suck, and this years faults will be next years improvements. Next year will move from an electric heater to an oil filled radiant so that I dont suck so much moisture out of the air First week of flower, I expect them all to stretch this week

I had my photos stored on my cell phone because I had a lot of work. Here where I live is winter. therefore the growth has been very slow in flowering. and almost every day they are cloudy. but we will see her results.

10 weeks from seed to harvest. The nutrient line I was using didn’t give me optimal growth, for this strain and my level of experience. Had some great growth and veg time, about 4 weeks, but when flower kicked in they got beastly. I would say I had two different phenos of this strain, and the one pheno that is unique, had slightly looser buds than the other two. This could be because of the LST/super cropping of the main cola. The other two had nice rock hard frosty buds and have similar smells and profile. The other one has more citrus, and was a bit lanky, more sativa in looks. Overall, easy enough to grow, no major surprises, and decent enough yield for 10 weeks. This is a strain that could have been better had I not had some issues with either lockout/deficiencies.

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! The plants are now putting all their energy into bud production, and it’s really starting to show!🌱 Both are developing bigger and bigger buds, and the smell is becoming more intense every day. #2 has an insanely large main bud, completely covered in trichomes. The aroma is very hazy, deep, and complex. it’s going to be interesting to see how it develops in the coming weeks. #1, on the other hand, continues to impress with its tropical, sweet, and pineapple-like scent, and its buds are also swelling up beautifully! Everything is going exactly as it should—excited to see how much more they’ll bulk up in the next weeks!💚

My ph test got spilled and ran into issues on the big girl. Got it fixed and back in action. Added mammoth p and orca. Also added pinch brown sugar. Going to use the greenhouse half for dry and other half as a lung tent. Have new plans for 8 plants monster aero going. Going to have a large single reservoir and a water cooler. Super excited, going to run some exotic strains. A bunch from sweet seeds 🤙🏻
