It's been a wierd week. Found evidence of herming but some of what appears to be balls have pistals? Anyways, have ensured all light leaks fixed, removed any suspect balls and pressing on. This is bagseed so maybe genetic. I've ordered some seeds for the next round to ensure solid genes going forward. Worst case this becomes bubble hash. :)

1st day of week 7 fresh air exchange, deleafed to get more light and airflow then fed. 3rd day of week 7 fed just water (Ran out of feed)

Great week. Girls finishing up and taking longer to drink. Checked trichomes and this plant is ready with mostly cloudy and a spattering of amber. Will harvest tomorrow morning and will provide weights and measures after harvest. Will dry in tent without light and offset circulation. Will keep tent naturally at 67 degrees. I will need to assist with humidifier to get humidity to around 60 RH. Perhaps a wicking cloth in a bucket? Just thinking out options. Update: Cut down the girls and hang them up to dry. Great thick hard buds. Can't wait to see what they smoke like, but it is going to take time to dry. Thanks to everyone that helped to make this a successful harvest. I will weigh the harvest before starting cure after a closer trim.

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Lowered the nutes -- didn't feed every 3 days like I previously did, just watered today. Overall looking good. I'm gonna have to move some of the plants to the tub because the bigger auto is getting so bushy. Let me know what you think in the comments, please!

Everything's seems to be going good starting to get cramped on space. 1 day after nutient change girls are doing great. Decided to cut a few of the bigger fan leaves that were blocking lower stems from light and just taking up a lot of space. Set up scrog net 7/13 rigged it up as cheap and quick as possible seems to be holding pretty well so far

Stretch has finished. Starting full on bloom formula. I always use 50% of what the listed recommended amount is. Full dose is just too strong. Major defoliation three days ago. Filling in fast. Will not defoliate much now till preharvest other than removing leaves to expose bud sites. Next week is the first flower flush. 24 hours straight water, then back to nutes. Always perks them up. PPMs dropped in number 2 this week from 800ish PPMs to 600ish PPMs. 1 is a much lighter feeder. The root mass of each are so different. 2 is long like a hippy's ponytail while 1 is more like a wispy, wiry Afro. Both are healthy and continueing to stack well. Frost is showing and the aroma is quite strong already. So one thing about this strain that was kind of a bummer was the smells were literally all over the place in a great way. Sour gummies worms from the keef, diesle/gas from the leaves, and lemon hard candy/carrots/dab carts from the buds but when smoked it, the floral taste was so rounded that the other smells never came thru except the purple one that had tight smaller buds, had a lemony taste still. (Remember had to cut early from braking). On the other hand, the way this plant grew had me in a state of personal amazement. I was actully super excited telling my friends that it got TOO BIG for the branches. Buds stacked perfectly on every plant. The topping and recover time went smooth. She shaped nicely right before flower. And back to my negative statement that I had..... the smells were INCREDIBLE!!! I recommend it to everyone soly for the smells.

11/24: Both Black Jacks finally turned the corner and are looking like they'll produce for me.👍 The big Zkittlez just keeps on stretching and outpacing most of the other plants....looks like a supercropping is in her immediate future. Kinda sux, because she's got picture-perfect, textbook, conifer structure😑 11/25: Had to raise the lights today about 5 inches to accommodate the big Zkittlez and a Sucrose Overdose..couldn't bring myself to ugly her up yet..maybe everybody else will catch up (ya right) For now, I'm using platforms of various heights for the shorter plants, to keep the canopy level.

Strain super super super fantastic !!! I was really struck by everything that is what these powerful super beans have. These girls are monsters. Lol they kinda got away on me this week as I got bit busy, and I was forced to turn down my light to 750w to keep my D.P.I. In check.
