Critical x Animal Cookies is doing well now under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She did have 2 neem oil treatments this week when the neighbor plant showed mites. I think I found a way to treat them without damaging the leaves a lot. She got some training today, and hopefully a lot of growth to follow. She has some catching up to do. If you are looking for yield then green gelato is most certainly the one you're looking for. If controlled right you can easy get 10oz per plant on these!

2.3.2024: More of the same. "Plants" are getting bushier. 2 Nodes with the 3rd coming through. Look healthy. Top soil is dry but a few millimeters below is still moist. Once the 3rd node fully develops i'm considering topping but we'll see. Definitely can tell the Crystal Meth has a different structure then the Emerald Fire OG. I'll add pics at some point today 2.4.2024: Watered 32oz at 6.3ph. No run off. 2.5.2024: No water today. Plant is still super moist. Temp hovers around 77-79 and RH has been struggling to stay at or above 60%, even with the humidifier on and the inline fan speed at 2. I've increased the humidity output with the goal of getting it to the 60%-65% range. Leaves are getting bigger and everything is nice and green but i'm surprised at the lack of vertical growth. Its only day 17 from seed so we've got time. Just raised the light to 14 inches from soil and increase power to 50%. 2.6.2024: Moving along nicely. Plant is a little stubby. Nodes are tightly spaced when compared to the Emerald Fire OG. Perhaps thats just the difference in genetics? Raised the light again to 16 inches from soil with the hope of inducing some vertical growth. 2.7.2024: No change to current state. Struggling for lower shoot development due to fan leaves blocking light access. I couldn't help myself so i clipped the single leaves on the bottom of the plant. Probably a big mistake but it'll be a learning lesson if it comes back to bite me. Not much change in vertical growth so i'm thinking about raising the light an inch or two to see if that will help them stretch. Watered 64oz of 6.3ph. Small bit of run off, ph also at 6.3. 2.8.2024: Day 20 from seed. At the moment, the very small haircut i gave the plant didn't seem to have any adverse affect. Lamp at 14 inches from top of the plant, still at 50% power(75watts). Fan leaves are nice and full but rather stubby without much outward growth so I can't really LST or even leaf tuck. There are 3 sets of shoots that i'm struggling to give ample light. Not sure when/if to increase power and/or change height. 2.9.2024: Day 21 from seed. End of week 3. Plant looks healthy but leaves aren't as flexible when compaired to prior days. Wouldn't say crispy or brittle, just a little firmer to the touch. No nutes given yet as the FFOF still has amendments the plant is using. First sign of sex showing too.

Week 2 of flower is in the books and all 3 girls are looking extremely healthy. Perfect time to start packing on the weight. There are tons if bud sites that will get tons of light due to all the defoliation I've done. I've never defiliated plants this much before and I'm curious to see the difference in bud production below the canopy level. I love trying new things and experimenting with these plants. Always coming up with new ideas on how to do things and making things easier along the way. Can't wait to see how much I'll get off all 3 and see the difference in phenotypes.

Blue Dream 1 started showing lots of rust spots and yellowing on leaves so I added more CalMag+ Iron to the reservoir believing the symptoms to be a deficiency in CalMag. Blue Dream 3 also still showing signs of CalMag deficiency.

Phwoah! Grow Genius silica came thru in a big way, blessing the Blue Paint crew with the rigidity we’d hoped for. One pheno has a slight curve to it and it’s now evident that they’re starting to break away from each other in phenotypical expressions by way of height, strength and leaf structure (possible variations in new growth width), but these might well be environmental influences rather than genetic. Seedling feeding regimen has been swapped out for the veg stack. The environment of the nursery tent saw a slight shift downward in temperature as the seasons press closer to winter but this didn’t stop progress, even after the Blue Paint crew got a repotting, increasing their root space 10 fold. With the increase in legroom they also got an upgrade to first class with a tent of their own as older auto tent sisters were shifted to their final grow space. Unfortunately this might only tide them over for a short while. The worry is, longer than expected flower cycles mean their final home, the photo tent, is still packed to the rafters with ripening flower and Blue Paint is coming up behind at an alarming rate. No choice but to play it by ear and possibly end up making some big purchases, drastic changes or tough calls. Ready and willing if it comes to it, fire genetics over bag seed all day long 😂. Girls have exploded into flower! They had a big stretch and have started stacking very nicely. Flower came so fast, they are showing a slight phosphorus need, and perhaps a bit more cal/Mag to help with uptake and such. I’ve been introducing the Clyde nutrients slowly to try and avoid burn, but I clearly need a bit more. I am liking the results overall though. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

(Days 28-35) (Day 29) Everything seems to have recovered fine from topping so I transplanted into their 1.7 gallon pots. They were pretty rootbound so this should make them nice and happy. Going to start LST after recovery. Got a ton of holes poked around the rim of the bucket which should make tying down easier. I’ve been asking around on some forums and reading some articles and I’ve decided to switch out my MH bulb for the included HPS bulb. Apparently HPS bulbs will stretch the nodes out quite a bit more and provide higher PAR value for the same amount of electricity. My plants are looking pretty small for day 29. Although, that could just be from stuffing 15 plants under one 250-400w light. I’ve been powering the lights up to 400w at night and back down to 250 during the day. 400 just gets it too hot during the day (86-88) without ventilation. That temperature should be fine in veg once my co2 has really built up some mycelium. (Day 32) Just got 14/15 topped. The BCTG runt is just going to be lst’d and not topped or fimmed. I decided to just fim the plants I started later so they’d have a bit more time to recover and catch up to the others. I also LST’d all 9 quite well. Almost had a stem break but she’s doing just fine now. The deformed bbb was accidentally fimmed and as a result it’s got a very trippy looking main stem that has branched off into 6 mains. I definitely have fungus gnats. Fuckers must have got in with that coco I bought from hydro store. This has never happened to me with just promix but the benefits of coco are too much to pass up. I might order an OG BioWar/capsbennies/grubgrenade to help naturally get rid of them. I’m getting some confirmed yellowing on bottoms of the zkittlez and WW’s. They must be heavy feeders because no other plant in the tent is getting yellow like that. I’m going to feed a compost tea, top dress everything at full strength and mulch in some worm castings to help break it down faster. Will also do a foliar spray with some insect frass, microbes and m1pps. (Day 33) Got some more of that marine phytoplankton stuff to help stabilize my RO water. It’s got a good amount of soluble magnesium and trade minerals in it so that should help stop the yellowing on the zkittlez and WW. (Day 34) Things are looking great so far and they’re all recovered from topping/transplant/lst and thriving. Some slight yellowing and a few of the plants are cupping from heat and high humidity. I just put in a dehumidifier to help bring the rh down. The m39/zkittlez bagseed plant is just outpacing everything in the tent by 4-6 days. No wonder organized crime used to grow it. I hear it can completely flower in 45 days with a solid yield and very little trimming or leaf matter. It’s very weak on the high and smell though. Nonetheless it should be nostalgic to try those old terps. There is still a small chance that it’s a super vigorous zkittlez plant too. Plants should be showing sex this coming week. Hoping for 8+ fems but I can make do with just 4. 1-3 is unlikely but that would piss me off beyond belief. I’ve heard of it happening though.

They have reached approx 96cm (38"), recovered well from the defoliation, didn't appear to cause any stress. Started a timelapse with a cam i put into the tent to monitor growth, will be interesting to see the flowering period as they grow over the next few weeks, i will post that movie, all going well, on the final week before harvest. This week I slightly increased nutrient strength by .25ml as flowering progresses. The 8 Ltr feed pH was a little low at 5.5pH used some Silica + pH-UP to increase it to 6pH. The led light is at it maximum height in the tent now, so i'm hoping, as anticipated, that the four Bubblelicious Auto's will slow down their stretch and settle into just developing flowers and bud. The smell is certainly that of what is described in other reviews and grows, in the mid eveining it released sweet aromas of Bubblegum, comparable to Bubblelicious gum, it really is a nice aroma, definitely my favourite so far. Used my slow juicer on the defoliated leaves and put them into a Bubblelicious CBD Green Juice, the bag of cut ganja leaf supplied 3 x 50ml shots of CBD cannabis juice extract that was utilised over 3 days.
