03/18/2021 Flowering is starting!

I turned off one of the mars panels. My garden isn't big enough to need that much light. So I just have the hlg65 and 1 mars panel going. This girl drinks like crazy. And she is quick to droop her leaves to tell you she's thirsty. Grow a lot in the past week. This will be the biggest autoflower I have grown so far.

Lemon Cherry Cookies Week 11 June 8-14 FLOWER 6 Sadly, my journey with Lemon Cherry Cookies is almost over. This week I am flushing with an anticipated harvest this weekend. I did the last plant pictures and videos and trichome shots. I did preliminary defoliation removing the remaining fan leaves. This plant was tall and lanky and had large fast stretches giving her 7inch node spacing. Her buds are chunky and tight without a lot of hairs. She developed pretty reds and dark purples in the leaves and buds because of the air conditioner. The A/C brought the night temperatures to 65-68f. 6/9 PH 6.46 PPM 239, temp 68 2 ltr each 6/10 PH 6.6, PPM 230, temp 68 2ltr each 6/12 PH 6.4, PPM 242, temp 68.5 2ltr Thank you for sharing this journey with me and as aways, thanks for visiting, for the likes and most of all growers’ love and support. Day 6 - defoliation of tainted leaves and LST training

No se abona con Fertilizante de Veg ya que el super soil aún contiene los nutrientes necesarios para esta etapa, la próxima semana fertilizo con veg (green grow) , se aplicará poda de hojas y se pasarán a floración (4ta semana). Se riega foliar y tierra con knactive cada 5 días, siempre a 0.4 con calmax.

This week was amazing to see the growth really start. Felt like a little kid again when observing the first pointy leaves that come through! To think these 9 are going to provide us with the most beautiful, versatile plant on our planet, is just awesome. Eradicating the need to fuel crime by putting money in dealers pockets, and taking full control of the wonders I’ll be inhaling and consuming. They didn’t need much attention day to day, just moving windowsills morning/afternoon, and watering when the soil/pots looked dry. Thankfully haven’t had much trouble with them, although one of the FastBuds original AK’s isn’t looking so great. She’s not as developed as the others as you can see. She’s not received any different treatment or water or anything different at all to the others. Maybe I need to investigate more. I’ve decided to try stay as organic as possible with this grow. With that said, I’ve been brewing up a nettle tea to make a good nitrogen feed for the girls. Nitrogen is said to be needed most during veg stage, so preparing as much as I can.

05.01 Happy new year! The official time of bloom, regarding to the breeder, is done (8 Weeks). I checked the trichomes and still see some clear and mostly cloudy trichomes, amber isn't really shown yet so I think they will need one to two more weeks. I will reduce my nutrient scheme now, check next week for the scheme if you are interested. Beside that I reduced the Light to ~650PPFD for the last ripening process.

The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment. Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Great veg week. Its an increased nutrient week. Only issue was slightly high ph in soil, so I added a little more vinegar to my water. On previous grows, I would do my LST tie downs on approx day 31-33, but growth was really good, and over 10" on 7 of 9 plants, so tied down early on those 7, on day 28. Great color and stalk girth so far.
