not much has happened this week. there is still some sun per day. however, the temperatures drop to 4-8 degrees at night. these are not exactly the best conditions. maybe this late outdoor experiment was not a good idea after all. however, they have not died yet.

Flushed the plants a bit early, which caused yellow leaves. Going to hit it with some 4-35-26 for two more weeks and then flush again & then chop. Chopped on day 87-89. All three plants vary. Excited to see how they smoke after drying and curing.

Partially drained the tank at the start of the week and topped up with ro water and 1ml of final solution per Litre. Last 2.5 days were in darkness. I trimmed the majority of fan leaves before hanging up to dry in the tent today. Started out trimming with the plants in the tent and soon realised it would be much easier to just cut them down whole, hang them upside down outside the tent and trim them up a bit. I have a small dehumidifier and a small fan heater setup in the tent and they have been keeping a humidity level of about 60% and a temp of 16 Celsius for the last few days while the lights have been off. I figure that's a good starting point for drying and I can increase the temperature if needed, that will drop the humidity also. Intake fan at the bottom and extract fan at the top are running constantly as they have been since the grow started (low power 4" fans). I might add back in a fan for circulation depending on how the drying goes, or maybe even trim or hang the plants better to get more airflow around the buds

Update: what a week full of activity and positive growth. The Amnesia is a big beast of a lady now. She is nearly 2.5ft across her canopy and growing. I have had a shuffle round in the grow space and she is now under the sp250 with her soil friends. The supercropped knuckles are nice and chunky to support the spiked colas I plan on her having. She has flattened out nicely too. I expect her to get even wider by the flip time and with so many growing tips she should be a good producer. Sweet Afghani Delicious has thankfully now started her real recovery from the root rot after a week in new feed. She has some good potential for a decent finish by the way shebhas bounced back over the last 2 days with new growth and now starting to fill up wirh chlorophyll again. Red Hot Cookie is also on the road to recovery with way more colour and actual vertical growth starting too. Her 5th node looked done for so i left it to fall off if it wanted and concentrated on the 4th nodes but she had other ideas and has now began growing the 5th again. Overall inam happy to see a recovery in them as i thought I was going to lose the nft girls from all the damage. Now at 100% power on the sp3000 with an rh of 67% and room temps at approx 24.5°c. With another weeks growth I am hoping to be close to flipping them all as the Amnesia is in danger of total room domination!!. Be safe and well. GGD

Hello Diary. The second week of flowering is behind me. 💪 As I announced last week, this week I did my first defoliation. I removed all the leaves from the lower branches and thus allowed her better airflow since there are three plants in the box. It was getting a little crowded already. 😏 As can be seen in the pictures, the flowers are developing nicely and have started to take on a fruity scent. 😋 Watering is every third day, when each plant in the box receives approximately 2.5 liters of water. I started adding CalMg preventively, 1.5 ml / lit and continuing with BioBizz, I will add it by feeling. I will see how the plants will react to this. Here's what the week looked like: 23/10/2020 - Day 29. Watering. This time I only added CalMg without BioBizz. p.H I regulated to 6.4 and the temperature of the water I water with is always around 20 degrees. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26.5 degrees and 51% humidity. 24/10/2020 - Day 30. Defoliation. As I wrote earlier, I cleaned the leaves on the lower branches and allowed better airflow and easier watering. 👍 26/10/2020 - Day 32. Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water with which I water all three plants. This time I added both CalMg and BioBizz. p.H. - 6.4 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.4 degrees and 44% humidity. 29/10/2020 - Day 35. Photographing and watering. I took photos for this week just in the box. I think I will only take photos on a black background for the last two weeks of flowering so as not to disturb them too much. Using Root booster and carefully spraying once or twice a day, as I see the soil dry... so far so good...

This week went pretty well. She stretched another 8 inches and is up to 48" even though I am not feeding her any veg nutrients, and I am really hoping she is ready to chill out because I have the lights D-Ringed to the roof of the tent, I had to remove the pulleys from them because they took too much room. I also added another 100 watt Spider Farmer and a 150 watt mars hydro to the mix, so I am running 4 lights at 790 Watts total for this plant. I am between 65K and 75K lumens for the entire canopy, and i have 150 watts coming in from underneath the canopy. I am also struggling with the humidity in the tent, even though I am able to maintain 45% RH outside the tent, I am having trouble keeping the tent below 60% RH and it is due to all the transpiration from her leaves, as well as the high frequency fertigation that I deploy, although all the runoff is outside the tent within 90 seconds of feeding, so not much I can do about either one. I know it doesn't look like I am defoliating her, but I have a trash bag almost full just from this plant. I purchased a small dehumidifier for inside the tent and it will be arriving tomorrow, so hopefully that takes care of my issues, as I don't want any moldy colas.
