Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. What do you think? What do you prefer to do? Thanks for reading this far, leave me a comment with your preferred method 👊🇨🇦❤️

Possibly this is your last week with only water to eliminate excess mineral salts. The appearance of the buds is great, covered in resin and quite hard, almost like stone.Does anyone have any tips for making some live rosin?

Info: Unfortunately, I had to find out that my account is used for fake pages in social media. I am only active here on growdiaries. I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Flowering day 36 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) . The buds developed really well this week 👍. They get wider, bigger, and firmer. They are already starting to smell very tasty. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above). Unfortunately I found a couple of single trips that tell me that the trips still haven't completely disappeared. Since I'm not a neem at this stage I will inject more oil and the lady has already finished over half of her cycle, I will let her run like this and the newcomers will be treated again 👍. So I hope that at the next round all of them will finally be gone. I had the problem more than 5 years ago and it took a long time until everything was ok again and there was no animal left. Otherwise everything was checked and everything was cleaned. I wish you a lot of fun with the update. i know i know, i promised to harvest this week, but to me they just don't seem ready yet! Although i harvested the main-buds from the LSD and put the other buds with the plant into a vase in order to let her ripe more, i want to harvest the other plants in one piece. The Peyote Critical will be the next one, in three days or so, i'm just waiting for her to develop some amber trichomes and the lower buds should ripe some more. The blue gelato could be harvested in a week or shorter, she seems damn sticky and rock solid! Shiskaberry need a week or so, some pistils are still white and trichomes are pretty glassy at some points! Srawberry lemonade will need one or two weeks, trichomes are glassy, but leaves are already yellowing, i think she will taste bests because she took so much nutrients and is now losing colour already!

What can I say, the strain is amazing, it is literary monstrous. The growth spurt from week 5 to 6 has been insane and now standing at 30cm tall. The girls have been drinking at least 4 litres a day. TD#1 is more than 2 feet wide at 30cm tall its ridiculous. I have noticed #1 is a different phenotype than #2 & #3 because of the difference in leaves sizes as #1 has smaller leaves as compared to #2 & #3. Looking forward to seeing how these girls grow out in later stages.

July 23: A great week of warm sunny weather with enough rain to prevent the garden from becoming too dry. Flowers are stacking... a bit leafy but dense. Smell is coming on strong and resin developing complexity of different fragrances. CBD Crack resin smells amazing sweet, like bubblegum and roses. Small plant but amazing fragrance.

Not much to say about this real first grow week’s start. Everything looks ok, steady growth at 40% light. I had to restart the control app a few times, therefore the broken graphs. At night times, the control software tries to attain optimum humidity rather than optimum VPD. That’s why VPD is dropping when the lights are out. CO2 is back to baseline – really wonder what the reliable values are … I found I have to silence the blowers when a timelapse photo is being taken. The shaking you see at the beginning of the grow video should not appear, or to a much less degree, in the future. Day 13 (July 30th) shows good, steady growth. Leaves are a bit spotty, although less then the processed images show. Something to be worried about? I would not currently … All are developing their 3rd nodes now. The controlling Raspberry Pi crashed last night when I tried to access it remotely … ;( – looks like the Connect software is in need of an update. The leaf temperature sensor is now really aimed at lady-to-be nr. 1’s leaves. Nothing to change that I see. I won’t cut the top yet, just watered the outer circle of the big pots slightly to encourage root growth. Day 14: Nice growth. First plant is now at 11 cm, and at 12 cm on day 15. Nothing special to report so far, except for I had to move the internal camera a bit upwards to keep little lady #1 in focus. Day 16 and last day of this week (Aug 2nd): The young ladies are now at about 14 cm tall. Growth looks very compact though. I think the two inside girls will lose their heads next week; I’d still prefer to have one or two more nodes available. Pictures of this day are taken at the end of the plants’ day. Notice their leaves are pointing upwards, which should be a sign that they want more light. I turned the lights up by another 20% for a total of 60 W now. Weather was pretty hot the last days so it wasn’t possible to stay in optimum VPD range but as long as growth is this satisfying I don’t mind. I will water them slightly at their next day start. Outside plant’s soil humidity might still be at around 58% officially, but drying starts at around 40% with this measurement and the sensors are placed quite closely to the stems so outer soil is dryer. I am preparing the plant water with some additions and a frequency imprint suing some Solfeggio and Schumann frequencies.

Yo growmies! While all of Berlin was getting high at Mary Jane 2024, I paid my ladies a visit: Remember last week's manic defoliation? Yeah, let's just say I went a little Edward Scissorhands on the Pineapple Poison. It's because last year's monstrous Gelato that took two days to harvest (my arms were killing me!). This year's mission: big, juicy colas and a speedy harvest (last year it took us 2 days!). Well, the good news is, the Pineapple Poison is a tough cookie (or should I say, pineapple?). She bounced back like a champ! She's still on the short and bushy side, so I'm giving her a break from the shears this week. Just a few tiny shoots close to the main stem got evicted to keep those main colas in the spotlight. Speaking of spotlights, I also made a trippy video to test visuals for the contest. Let me know what you think of the hazy, dream-like vibe. Is it artsy or just accidentally blurry? You be the judge! Oh, and I discovered a couple of resident snails on the Pineapple Poison. Thankfully, these little guys seem to be no harm. We'll call them our "ganja garden guardians". In fact, I noticed with every outdoor grow that Cannabis plants create a tiny ecosystem for all kinds creepers and crawlers who like to soak up the flower fumes and chill out in the leafy shade, Stay tuned, growmies! Next week, we'll see if the Pineapple Poison keeps on churning out those juicy colas. And who knows, maybe I'll find a way to channel my inner pruning master without turning this into a harvest marathon again! High fives all around!
