Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. However, you do need to be an experienced smoker because Expert Gorilla is one of the most potent strains on the market. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! This girl scout cookie is a big girl next to here Bruce Banner sister, and about 3weeks younger. I've not done much this week, tucked away any leaves covering bud sites and trimmed about 3 leaves that couldn't be tucked. Biobizz triple, bloom, grow and top max. Homemade nuits and just tap water. She's taken up her canopy space up in the grow cupboad so she's all set.

I think multiple things have gone wrong during this grow. resulting in Buds that are really not great to smoke. buds smell funny. it will get you high but it's just not pleasent for smoking. i don't think this is because of this strain but more of the way i have grown it. I decided to grind all and i'll make THC oil out of it. really glad this grow is completed tho.

Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! Can’t wait to see what we do this week ! Hopefully you all enjoy, and are ready for another great productive week ! D22. First day of the fourth week, one week away from the automatic flower switch. Strong grow, 28cm high and more than 30cm spread, they made 10cm stretch the last three days since last watering on day 19, today the leafs were pointing down and the digital tensiometer was measuring 71mbar in the bottom of the pots. Today I watered again, this time instead of the usual 500ml each I went closer to 5% of the pots giving em 1L each pH to 6.0 and kept EC in 0.9 from base of 0.4 cal-mag, used biobizz grow, hygrozyme 1ml/L and bactohemp, lowered pH with phosphoric acid. I'll start to LST anytime but today I just cut off everything in the first floor to clear the base since it's already in complete shadow. Next step will be to guide them in order to achieve a flat canopy. The lazy plant is getting stronger everyday but leaf color is diferent than their sisters being same strain, will see how she end up next weeks 💪 D25. At three days from fifth week and official flower switch they keep growing strong like 35 to 40cm high and 35 to 40cm spread but after some leaf anomalies and after watering yesterday I saw something weird in the yellow sticky traps, they were full of black pigment and after check em under microscope they seem to be thrip infestation that I gonna treat with foliar phyretrine and neem oil on the soil but meanwhile I put four more sticky traps. On yesterday watering I made leaf juice mixed with cal-mag, fertilizer, bactohemp and hygrozyme, the reaction when aerating the mix was huge! I got the lazy plant higher to be able to receive similar DLI as her sisters but it still keep growing lazier than the others. I hope the fertilizers arrive in time before flower switch!

It has been another great week for these Fastbuds ~ Wedding Cheesecake Autos!! Today is day 22 from seed and this upcoming week all 5 will be getting Tied down for LST ! All are getting same veg feed just but make sure if you are using rapid start your gonna have to mix in PH up in your feeds! Week 8 - Oct 26 to Nov 2nd Smooth week! A bit of a late November heat wave brought my room up to near summer temperatures 😵 Crisped the tips a bit with the heat and upping the nutes. This advanced nutes stuff is very salty for a soil grow and even the small amounts reported above, split between the 4 plants, still end up getting to the fan leaves. Using Molasses and plain water feeds between nute feeds this stuff is still very touchy. The more I type about it, the more I realize it wasn't that smooth 😂 Still the best base/biggest four plants I've had and the Chem-Bomb Autos are way fatter bud wise compared to the Chocolate Mint Og Autos but they were a little ahead in development even though they all germinated in the same week. 9cm vertical growth this week but she's got a lot bushier!!!!!!!!!!!! Loads of new growth! I'm thinking this week she will enter flowering.

Hey everyone 😃. Today it continues with the Flowering day 49 Today the tent was cleaned, the humidifier refilled, and the health of the plant checked. Flowering day 50 Today she was watered with 1.2 l (see fertilizer table), and checked for her health. Flowering day 51 Today fresh oamose water was poured into the tanks and the plant was sprayed. Flowering day 52 Today was a pure control day where all the technology was checked. Flowering day 53 Today the room was cleaned, the tent cleaned and the humidifier filled. For this purpose it was poured with 1 liter today. Flowering day 54 Today was again a pure control day :-). Flowering day 55 Once again the plant was checked for health and sprayed. The tent was also cleaned. Tested soil PH and it's to high at 7.5. Adjusted my water to 6.2 to decrease it.

Spider mites are getting worse. Also have to harvest soon cause I start travelling next week and I can’t finish and dry them in time. But the trichomes are almost ready

The Beans was popped into a wet paper, the greenthubs was fantastic, not the same as the runtz muffin by Barney's farm she was very strange and now she looks very busy and short 🤯🤷

Que hay familia, yo aquí entre humos actualizo las misty gorilla auto, seamos sinceros, yo estoy algo decepcionado con el tamaño de la flor, no con el ejemplar ni la calidad solo la cantidad, y es que ahora pienso yo, las autos realmente merece la pena a sabiendo que si ciclo es parecido al de una feminizadas? 4 semanas crecimiento 8/9 floración? No no merecen la pena seamos realistas si queremos cultivar en interior lo mejor que podemos hacer es comprar semillas feminizadas y asegurar tu cultivo. Y dejar solo las autos para gente que no se puede permitir un indoor y tenga que cultivarlo en terraza y así cultivar todo el año . Ph regulado ya quite alimentación y limpie raíces, las e sacado a la terraza, desmontó Indoor me mudo y ampliamos zona de comfort. Hasta aquí es todo gente un saludo y muy buenos humos 💨💨💨

I had to wait to see if they're healthy before flipping so postponed them for two weeks, all in all they are all good. Before I lowered ppm to 800 and they thrived. I overtrained them I think and overfeeded as well, burnt tips. Haven't touched them for 2 weeks and these are monsters now.
