Not using any Nutrients for the first week

Hey hey everybody! We are back here this week at the beginning of week 13 and it is almost that time… time to flip? ….I wish…. No, no…. I am trying to be good but I think I came up with a plan that will give me a rough idea of when I will see that light at the end of the tunnel- or we’ll at least flip that light to 12/12 haha- No no it is almost Christmas and things have been crazy over here. With the holiday madness upon us, I can’t tell all of you how much I have appreciated the relative silence (you know how it is, there are multiple fans running) time seems to slow down and it just us and the plants. Quite enjoyable. So as you already know, we are going to be on coast until we fill out the rest of that 3x3 scrog net- however just today on my way into work, I came up with what might be my new definitive plan… I have had a bit of trouble waiting, no doubt it will be worth the wait, but the wait has been difficult none the less… so here it is.. Here’s what I’m thinking- I have this going and I also have some fastbuds growing in the same area. What I am most likely going to do- is wait until it’s time for the fastbuds to come down to open up some space in the 5x5 and the rock candy cake can have all that space to herself- I will shift the scrog into the center of the tent and then flip the light schedule to 12/12 and let it run wild- it’s at this point I will most likely employ a more hands off approach so it can focus all of its energy on producing buds worthy of such a wait. The canopy is getting pretty lush and I really need to get in there and defoliate- I really lucked out, today was the last day I had to work until after Christmas so you KNOW I will be in there tomorrow plucking away at leaves (strategically of course) half kidding I’m probably still a whirlwind compared to some, but I’ve noticed- especially when it comes to autos, that my leaf selection has become much more refined when defoliating. PROBABLY gonna see a BIT less of that tomorrow as I have to open up the canopy but I still plan on being careful. Something else that was super cool who may not be following along with the other journal, happened oddly enough just the other day when I was doing dishes- I was scrubbing away with my phone all propped up so I could watch/listen to dude grows. And I heard the dude mention a contest on their website that I had entered… of course my ears perked up, I leaned in a little closer to take a look and was thinking to myself how cool it would be, even to see my picture in the background and sure enough there it was and they brought it up and commented on the submission and seemed to be genuinely enthused by it and let me tell you I am STILL riding high off that one! One thing that was cool too was a rep at a nutrient company had seen that and congratulated me as well and it was again just so cool and I’m honored to have been on there! I listen to them practically everyday at work- yeah words are not doing it justice right now but I was stoked!!! Other than that, the holidays are practically upon us so I’d imagine it’ll be a whole lot of family activity with a side of unintentional neglect that I plan on keeping to an absolute minimum because we are right around the corner from some excitement in that tent- that thing is going to be HUGE! So we have that to look forward to! And on that note, I just want to say that from our home to yours, I truly hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and I can’t wait to come back and get into the garden talk with all my growmies! Week 5: 8/24 we fed the kids for the first time!! We followed the instructions for Gaia Green All Purpose application and went ahead and grabbed the Bloom fertilizer as well, so we are ready for that transition. We did top all our auto flowers except one and they slowed down their growth a bit, but we have two strong main stems on all of them, so I'm excited to see how those fare outside. I've heard that everyone lives by Kelp, so we got some liquid seaweed and have been adding that to our waterings along with the Miicrobial Mass Pro. Considering grabbing the roots organic terp tea bloom boost or the Athena bloom set-up to see how we feel about this synthetic vs. organic fertilizer discussion and to get some growth happening on these autos. We started LST, but I wish there was more info on like what i'm supposed to be doing fr - feels like I'm just bending the stem 😳 (but we will see how that shakes out)... WELP! That's all folks. Just a quick update, Super kush is packing on the pounds and becoming so frosty that the plant is looking white GG #4 is so potent and diesel that when you touch this plant a lil it rocks the whole place out , I have a pheno what I will defo be keeping Gorilla zkits has finished stretch and is now starting to pack on weight looking forward to seeing theses girls Banana kush seems to be slowing down for some reason but the smell is out of this world 🌎 Critical rqs is such a chemical smell I cant explain this girl is so huge that it is taking most of the room 😳 Phantom og is a unique creamy smell with loads and loads of tops also cant wait for this Blue gelato 41 is the smallest out the girls but is getting ultra frosty

I am amazed of the amount of love received from community here. Thank you Grow Diaries and Fastbuds for opportuniy to share and grow this amazing genetics. Love you all❤️💜💚 Was looking for strong indica dominant strain and after reading and hearing so much about this one. Just couldn't resist to not give a go. Was a bit worried before planting seeds that my final yield outcome may not be satisactionary as only have 0.26msq and Fastbuds advertising this strain as 450-550g msq but thankfuly my result was way above this scale. My 2 beautiful ladies Athena - right corner lady. She was slighlthly more dominant over entire grow cycle. She got more space on scrog earlier and that's why she developed the most. Xena - left corner lady, I belive that she could outgrew her sister if she just have more space and another week of time. Did not expect her to turn so well on the end. Both girls were put in darkness for 48h before chop. Wet trimmed and hang for a week. Daily jars burbing for 10 days and every 2-4 days now. Weights Wet trimmed Athena 870g Xena 632g Total 1502g Dry trimmed Athena 172g Xena 147g Total dry 319g Bubble hash 6g (37g of trims) I am very happy with this result. In my opinion Banana Purple Punch Auto its a masterpiece. Started to do some more training. Other than that, they just love to grow! I turned up the light every week by 5% until I reach a DLI of ~25.

This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth.

Hello Diary. Sherbet Queen has entered the first week of flowering. It has grown over 70 cm and is very branched and full of leaves. So on the 28th day I cleaned it up a bit. I removed the leaves and branches at the bottom of the stem, now the air flow through the plant itself will be much better. The plant is very nicely shaped with a solid stalk, the flowers began to form at the ends of the branches. Watering has become more frequent, every two days I water with about 2 liters of water. This week I added only one Easy Bloom Booster tablet to stimulate flowering and I adjusted the p.H to a value around 6.3 and at one watering I added CalMg preventively. The conditions on the Farm are in line with the summer months. The temperature is slightly higher, 28 degrees and the humidity is around 50%. It is expected that the temperature will increase in the coming time, considering the temperatures during the summer. I also changed the light mode, I put 4 hours of darkness and 20 hours of light. For now, Sherbet Queen looks beautiful, happy and proud. Here’s what it looked like last week. 08/06/2021 - Day 24. Watering. I put one Easy Bloom Booster tablet in 6 liters of water and lowered the pH to 6.5. With that, I evenly watered all three plants that are on the “Farm”. Since the last watering was three days ago, the branches and leaves were very droopy which is an indication that they were very very thirsty. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 27.5 degrees and 45% humidity. 10/06/2021 - Day 26. Watering. I prepared 7 lit, lowered the p.H to 6.2 and did not add any other nutrients. 12/06/2021 - Day 28. End of the fourth week. I did defoliation on all three plants on the “Farm,” so did Sherbet Queen. I think a new look will suit her. I photographed the plants, measured the height and then watered them. This time I added 1.5ml / lit of CalMg preventively. That’s it for this week, see you soon.
