Welcome guys Last few things to say about this nice strain, the SOMANGO 🌱 Originally was breded by Soma sacred seeds, but this is the @supersiberia version And it's a good choise 💯 Anyway, back to the harwest time 👇 The whole plant is placed in a cupboard upside down, after the cut, with the leaves still attached.. After about seven / ten days, when the leaves were pretty dry, the flowers crunchy, but before the branches break cleanly...I cleaned all the buds thoroughly, I cut them off the branches and put them back inside of a brown bag..for about a day / two Later I placed everything in a classic glass jar For 24h I left it closed ⏳ Then I started opening it several times a day More or less, after about three weeks, I usually close the jar permanently and wait a few more weeks to start using the flowers 🔥 About taste and effects 👇 The flavours in smoking are exactly the same you can smell before burning the buds, tropical woody with sweets notes back The effect is more about staying chill an watching or listening something. In the beginning more mind stone, then it goes trought the body and makes you relax. Is not my first choise but in the end is enjoyable ! The plant in growing is also great to see, especially if you do some technique 👌 I have growed her in a 3,5l airpot (not the original) with organic liquids nutrients, added in to a soil/cocco/humus and perlite base But if you want to learn more about, check out all my previous weeks 📆 📆 And that's all.. New reservoir on the 2nd with Flowering nutrients, still at 50% of recommended dosage - and I'll probably stick with it, even at this strength I've seen a few burnt tips. Used dechlorinated tap water this time, something I'll probably stick with as well. Also added some bud trainers that I got from amazon, they're quite cheap and I've been liking it so far, although not the best canopy, it's something I'm learning a lot and enjoying. And a side note: Using autopots feels like cheating. These two are topped and still are producing some enormous branches! Glad I did top them in the end, else I'd be stressing a lot over space right now. -- update Decided to give them a heavier defoliation/lollipopping to improve light penetration and to help them focus on the bigger branches instead of larf. We'll see how well they'll respond to that.

Week 13 not a bad week if I do say so my self …guna tie down this week and begin spraying silver thiosulfate on donor plants then next week I’ll throw the donor plants into flower and begin the actual breeding project …which ever specimen reverses first shall be collected and used to pollinate which ever one doesnt will be killed and removed acord

It’s week 5 of flowering, and things are looking fantastic! The adjusted nutrients for the coco substrate have clearly made a difference, as both plants are thriving and continue to develop thick layers of trichomes. ✨ Interestingly, the non-LST plant is starting to show some unique color variations, which is surprising given that both are from the same strain. This unexpected twist adds a bit of excitement, and I’m curious to see how it will develop over the next few weeks. When it comes to scent, the differences are striking! The LST variant has a bold and distinct Lemon Haze aroma—zesty and citrusy 🍋💨 while the non-LST plant gives off a fruity-sweet smell that’s incredibly rich and inviting. 🍓🍭 Unfortunately, my camera broke this week, and now I’m dealing with some low-quality pictures. 📷😔 While it’s frustrating not to capture the plants in their full glory, I’ll do my best to document their progress as clearly as possible. Overall, both plants are doing great, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they turn out in the final stretch! 💚

Well 150 days wasted down the drain. I woke up and decided to check the girls this morning and found a fun Webbie surprise across the bugs. Looks like she managed to find some spider mites along the way. Had to biohazard the entire house and all of the plants. She got fed to the pigs because we had to dispose of that bitch ASAP. Been a long morning since we had to do all of the laundry I had to bleach all of the tent it’s a hard lesson to learn. I guess I must’ve gotten lazy keeping everything safe and sanitize between harvest. Lesson learned all around. Thankfully it’s not my first rodeo with these so we got the green cleaner on the way for the rest of the ladies.Been a long sad morning

Here we go! Day 1 Kosher cake 15-05-21 Today for her, is the first day under the light 🙌🏻 I hope she grows up healthy and strong. I added a quarter of Biobizz's recommended dose of Root-Juice (1ml / L) I start to give less, and then increase in the next few days so as not to be aggressive with the baby. 👶🌱 I will be uploading new updates soon! Day 2 16-05-21 ..There is not much to say, the plant continues to grow and seems to like his little house 😋 Day 3 17-05-21 The girl is loving her life! 🌱💚 today I added (1g/1L) of Micro-vita to the recipe, to ensure that it is able to assimilate better nutrients and it has beneficial bacteria and fungi available for the protection of roots and for general plants growth. Amnesia Lemon are kinda droopy & don't have many with roots either. Blackberry Gum many really don't have roots only a couple with roots barely starting but have healthy looking leaves. Sherbert always looks sad/droopy leaves but has roots but not tons of roots.* *Gold Leaf's were the first to show roots & many have nice long root systems. Gelato's has nice root systems as well. Finally got round to getting this diary finished. Sorry it took so long to update, I’ve been really busy 🤷‍♂️😸 I harvested these plants just shy of two weeks ago. I took some pictures just prior to harvest. The buds came out extremely dense even though they both foxtailed. The pictures of the dry buds don’t really do them justice. They look a bit rough trimmed, not quite as well manicured as to my usual standard, but it smokes smooth and that’s all that matters 😸 The taste is thick and lingers in the mouth, you can almost chew it! It has a really strong OG Kush taste, not had much wedding cake in my time so can’t tell if that’s coming through at all 🤷‍♂️ Yielded pretty good this time round, got around 3oz per plant. All the buds were solid so not much trim to use for Rosin, but what little I did get gave me some 🔥 Rosin in return. I’ve uploaded a video of what I made. week three flower everything looks fine so far :D eight days after defoliation I water them with 1.5l every 48h the light I use was set to 80% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops both gorillas had thrown a few balls, but I removed them as soon as I saw them, I will keep watching them!

Such a great week! I’ve never seen such a fast growth before. Since they were ready the girls got transferred in their final pots, 5l pot + 2l extra from the self watering grow box. The soil is ca. 50% coco, 50% soil … well there’s probably about 15% perlite in there as well. They soil mix is amended with ca. 1,5g/l green house feed biogrow. Plus ca. 6g/pot Aktivator. And from now on they will stay in the greenhouse

What a week for this girl! After seeing both of my Sweet Seed autos take a hit from my lack of watering with runoff, I decided to take preventative matters with this Gelato plant and flushed her clean with 8 gallons of plain pHed water, and then a final gallon of a light feeding mix. Since doing that 4 days ago, definitely have seen some further discolouration, but as far as I can tell, It's stopped spreading to the new growth, so I'm 'hoping' to be in the clear but you really never know. I got the soil pH up from 5.4 to 6.5, and the ppm down from 1100ish to just under 400 (which is typical ppm for a flushed plant). Going to keep a close eye, but damn do I feel like she went through some serious shock. Bud development has pretty much slowed down, so hoping she bounces back and start stacking, but I also don't know if this is from the shock of the flush, or the low temps I've been faced with this week. Anyway, definitely learned my lesson on this run! Organic growing here I come 😁

The plants came down after 64 days in flower, and 99 days total. I'm super happy with the results as of right now. I love the color on these buds and they seem super dense. The smell while trimming was very gassy, and I think it'll smell great after curing. The buds still need to dry, which I expect to take just over a week. They'll be drying in the tent at about 70F and around 60% humidity. The humidity is a little high after being in the tent over night at 64%, but I'm hoping that will creep down as the buds lose more moisture. I'll update later after the buds have dried and I'm able to weigh them. The drying turned out great. I've struggled with some past grows getting rid of the wet grass smell after drying, but I let it go an extra day this time and the smell seems to have gone away. Ended up with about 4.5 ounces in total, which I'm happy with. Now the buds are all curing, and I'll probably wait close to a week before smoking any of the cured bud.
