Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Had a busy week looking after her this time. I topped her mid way though last week. It felt so wrong taking a pair if scissors to her after trying to take good care of her. Lol. It definitely slowed her growth down for a good few days after. Then at the weekend I re potted her in a larger pot. I think it's 20lt but not 100% sure. She went a little bit limp after re potting, but only for a day or so, and seems to have recovered nicely now. I'm still on an 18/6 light cycle and using formulex once a week. Though I intend to switch to using Ionic soil grow from tomorrow, so hoping to see the veg stage really come on this week. I added a video clip this week too. And off we went, the adventure with Zamnesia's F1 Hybrids started off great, with a stunning 100% germination 8/8 born without any hesitation after a very short time in water and subsequently in soil. She is precisely at the 10th, she is Runtz, she grows well regularly and very similar to the twin. One of the characteristics of the F1 Hybrids is stability and for now it has been thoroughly demonstrated since day 10. For the rest we have to say everything is going very well, the parameters are in order, the girls were born in a biodegradable jar which biodegraded a little earlier than expected and I proceeded with the potting, no repotting, be careful the seedling never came out of the jar biodegradable the roots pass it at a certain point of decomposition. So we are now in a comfortable 11 liter house that is perfect for autoflowering in my opinion. Unfortunately the Zamnesia pots are about to arrive but I didn't have them in time I preferred to repot them for the sake of the plants, we have to photograph them of course but first and foremost I'm a grower and I care about the health of my little girls. Something tells me we will be growing a lot of Zammi plants so we will use them in the Official Grower version next time. As for fertilizers, I'm doing a small comparative experiment to finish off the fertilizers I had at home, it's not 100% indicative, it's only on two specimens but given the stable genetics I decided to try to compare the results of Plagron Vs Aptus, both excellent brands which they will certainly produce beautiful plants which are already of excellent stable genetics. In the next few weeks the comparison will be more evident now the seedlings are still very small and just potted. Such a lovely plant. Very satisfying to grow. She smells very fruity with a little sour. Checked her trichomes under the microscope and I’m still seeing about 25% clear with some amber and the rest milky. She’s slowing down her metabolism now, not drinking as much. Putting out fewer new pistils. We’re in the home stretch, no idea if that is 2 weeks or 4, but based on the slowing of her metabolism. I’d say she’ll be done within 3 weeks. If you’re watching my video, that’s vintage 1988, Wild Wild West, by The Escape Club (a UK band). The song topped the US charts in November of 88. The band never topped the UK charts.

She is really starting to take shape now growth rate has slowed down but not stopped. Bud sites forming nicely. Having had a problem consistently for the last couple weeks every time I check on her more aphids! Few days ago I noticed a small spider had made home under a fan leave and had 2 aphids trapped and another previous meals shell used as camo I presume to capture another meal. Now with 3 odd weeks left, maybe more as I've read outdoor autos can take up to 2 weeks longer than indoors.(not sure if true yet) I impulsively brought some nutes for the flowering stage. Bio Bizz Bio Bloom 1ml/1l Fed once at lowest feed as don't want to jump the gun and nute burn her. Will feed her next watering in next 2-3 days.

Day 48 Gelato - day 48 - Defoliation was done. The broken branch healed and sprouted new branches. She cannot boast much about his height. But it is very beautiful, I hope we will grow 50 centimeters in flowering 👌 Day 44 Peyote - The growth process continues unabated. I am waiting for the desired size. 8 days after flowering it didn't grow as much as I thought it would, so we went back to the growing season. 👽 Day 49 Peyote - I decided not to cut the leaves anymore after much defoliation. It easily tolerates strong stress easy to grow.
