My oldest girl had her flush this week and its about time for her to finish up. I will continue the journal for my 2nd oldest so stay tuned!

Everything is still alive thankfully and smells fuckin tremendous. The pictures were taken on day 49 or 50. I'll probly start flushing some of them over the next week the citradellic are lookin close. They kinda all look close even tho I expected some 70 dayers with the mostly sativa crosses but I gotta get in there and check the trichs.

Start of week 4. This girl stretched an inch during week 3 and her bud sites continued to pack on size and take shape. She is very sticky to the touch, with a slight citrus, earthy smell.

NL topped will be a monster...did not defoliate yet...lost one of the 4 main colas (broken) but seems to get extremely bushy anyway...nutrients mainly from TA as shown above NL untopped (coco with aptus) seems to be extremely healthy and develops monster leaves...yesterday removed appr 10 leaves for more ventilation. For untopped didnt change the nutriens yet...still this Aptus all in one 1 ml/l Aptus regulartor 3 drops/l Aptus start booster 4 drops/l Aptus callmag booster 1 ml/l I have to water with the nutrients everyday, 2 litre...each plant...keeping the ec low at 1,2 - 1,3...means the basic water should not have more than 0,3 better 0,2...means I have to use destilled water partially Next week will be some in nutrients...blooming is coming especially the topped NL...untopped maybe later...

A little bit of defoliation and LST to day to give the wrangly clones some shape and some mains. These girls will bush out this week, hoping for about 10 to 14 days before I switch to 12/12. Feeding at 1000ec, some calmag, twice daily top feed drain to waste. The roots are sitting in aerated water all day thanks to the hempy's. Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. first day after a 12h night cycle, still have a big gnat problem. gonna go buy new bacteria, stickies and DT Earth. the grow shop just let me know that they got it back in stock but i haven't been able to find nematóides. doesn't seem to be a common practice here. i haven't watered them in a few days. the top soil is bone dry but the plants don't look like they're requesting water just yet so i think it's a good time to lay down the new dt earth and new yellow traps to see if we can kill the remainder. gonna grab some flowering ferts too while I'm at it. Update: got a bigger pot and some supergrow soil, only had time to transplant one of them today. but I decided to after them one more cycle before i do the DT earth. update: dt earth added, seems to be alright but not quite dry enough

Just starting week 5 will keep updating as I go been having a couple issues lately with some of the top fan leaves, they've been starting to get a couple brown spots on 3-4 of the fan leaves not sure what the problem is yet if anyone has any suggestions let me know. Update: Just ordered in a new ph meter from Apera I'm pretty sure my cheap $15 dollar ph meter was all sorts of messed up. UPDATE: ec going in .7 runoff ec .86, ph going in 5.7 runoff ph 6.6 I'll see if the ph goes down now that I have the new ph meter my old one was definitely off. UPDATE: Got the EC down to .4 gonna start slowly introducing nutrients back in, also got the medium pH down to 6.1 from 6.6. Finishing up week 5 think I've gotten things under control now just need to get my EC back up now showing a couple signs up deficiencies on some leaves but nothing too bad, I'm thinking Week 6 will start flower. Did a Flush this Week now looking back on it I shouldn't have done that that caused my plant to go into a deficiency, what I should've done was not flush with half strength nutes I should've used normal strength nutes but just lower the ph more that was the real problem.

Today is day 72 from seed!! This week went real well , 2 of the Forbiddin Runtz have been getting flushed an the rest will also start flush through this next week, I can’t believe the smell of this combo strain,, super fruity smelling an all are super sticky!! Stay tuned for next week yall !

This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I’m keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.

UPDATE - Saturday 13th March This week has been ok but I need to take it easy on the nutes! Especially with the soil one. Ooohhhhh 😵why did I use soil. It’s really annoying because it’s at weedy little seedling stage and iv obviously over fed it. I added some worm castings to the one on the right in the hempy bucket though , along with ecothrive biosys They should break down fairly quickly given how packed with microbes and micorhyzae to buffer the ph of my hempy buckets to where I need them to be. I don’t even bother with my ph pen now. I’m glad I didn’t spend £69 on one but it would be good to get a decent one at some point. It’s not top of the list though. Grow space number three is looming and this time I actually have the equipment. Only problem is I don’t want to use my old converted wardrobe. It’s too small and pretty pointless. If I’m going to have a tent in my studio flat space where I have to hear the fans or rather the varispeeds hum. I’m very tempted to take the big grow tent out of that room and then paint the walls bright white and just vent the room. Instead of the tent. The ductings already there. Then I could move the bigger tent somewhere else in the flat. The thing is - I started growing to provide me with my medicine,however, I’m in prohibition-land. So far I haven’t had the space to be able to get a monster harvest. My last one was the best so far I think it was 2.5oz between three plants. I have decided to turn it into an auto tent (shout out to fast buds for sponsoring me) They are just so easy. At first I was worried because i thought the lights were on longer but they finish so god dam quick from seed to smoking. I’m f surly sure curing autos must take longer than growing them. That fastberry is coming along nice but It’s such a non bushy plant. Like lanky but in a good way. A lanky green stem with these random bright purple buds on the tops. This is the first grow I’m going to use a proper magnification device when I need to check trichomes. I think iv been harvesting too early. Well actually just last time because I was scared the police were coming. LOONG story. Anyway, I’m looking forward to being able to see those thrich’s get cloudier and cloudier. Will make some nice source photographs for my art also. I nabbed these awesome plant holder uppers that just poke into the soil in the pot and they are round and have sections to put cola’s through. They look really perfect for auto’s final bushy look once trained.
