Sticky, strong smelling and starting to frost up some...

Back with the Lemons, Thanks for coming by! Day 44 - Height: LP#1 @ 36" / LP#2 @ 33" The Lemons move into week 7. They have a fantastic smell now! The scent in the room is a sugary, sweet citrus backed up by a spicy black pepper. I pruned off the lower leaves that were turning yellow, many of them were squashed and bent from the walls anyway and some were actually hanging off where they've been pushed about a bit in the space, but it's all good. The buds on LP#2 are really tightening up now, but they're really making the buds on LP#1 look a bit leggy, especially the buds on the side stems. In terms of issues, there is some pretty serious light bleaching going on in the tips of the leaves, but what's done is done, so I'll have to keep an eye out for that in future grows. Otherwise plants look healthy. Leaf Surface Temperature at the canopy is 25c, which is about 2-3c lower than the ambient temps in the space, so I think thats all good, despite the light bleaching they shouldn't be suffering from heat stress too much really. Hopefully going to see the buds fatten up real nice over the next couple of weeks before harvest! Day 48 - Height: LP#1 @ 36" / LP#2 @ 33" Day 48 and the Lemon Twins are really starting to get sticky and pack on the weight now. LP#2 can't hold herself up at all anymore, so I've had to string a whole bunch of wires up to keep the side stems vertical. It's nice though because it condenses the footprint in my tent. I did the same with my Kush from last grow and it actually makes my space a bit easier to deal with. I think they must be approaching harvest window in a week or so, but I'm going to let them run a couple more weeks at least before I start checking trichomes seriously. All healthy and nothing bad to report though! One thing I'm not really sure about and keep trying to research is the effect of light bleaching on plants. Mine always suffer from quite severe light bleaching or nutrient burn on the tips by this point in their lifecycle which actually comes mostly from the heat and light coming back off the reflective walls I think, as it burns the leaves next to the walls the most. My plants seem to grow well and look healthy in all other respects though and they yield well enough, so I don't really know if it's a problem. I need to read a lot more about this. Lots of work this week on keeping up on training this week, buts it’s going well! I split a fork when tying her down but the duct tape fix worked great and she didn’t exhibit any stress from it surprisingly :) Each day I tighten the bindings and then defoliate about every other or 3rd day. I keep doing 2 feeds to 1 yucca flush. She now uses 3 gallons to get my saturation and 20% runoff, about every 3 days. When I yucca flush I also foliar feed her to keep things flowing, roughly 1/8-1/4 strength of my food dosage. Foliar feed mix is yucca, kelp, fulvic acid, 1-0-0 Calmag+, and a 14-0-0 ominA. And I fed that every day for 3 days until I watered her again :) Interestingly, 3 days in a row just barely began to give her N toxicity by causing a slight clawing of the mature fan leaves, but no burn in the tip, and day 4 she was flat out again :) so it was right at the edge of useable nutrients IMO. The netting is coming along nicely, lots of weaving going on, refilling the center and spreading the mains out to the corners of the tent. Tried 2 different cloning techniques, one placing them into the peat pellets from Walmart with rooting powder, and the other is a Tupperware container filled with a PH’d weak nutrient solution, and sticking the stalks through the lid into the water. Both techniques have produced roots, peat took longer but are stronger specimens. Tupperware seemed to shock them less but roots are tiny little nodules. Came out very nice. Lot of wet weight. Smells like fresh spragues of mint.

I know this one came out a little too early, but I was having problems with humidity and also with smell so I decided to take 'em all out at the same time. Well I'm a bit upset last week I ended up dropping my ph meter in a tank of nutes I was mixing and by the time I got it out the meter was junk. I was planning on flushing the crystal but had to wait another week for the meter. I suppose the good thing to take from this was I found out why I was having issues with my plants. When the new ph meter came in I went to check my run off and my nutes that I had all ready mixed up. It turns out that my meter i had been using this whole grow was off by about -2-2.5 so this whole time I had been feeding the plants at around 3ph smfh. I cant believe they look how they do knowing what went on this whole time. Fastbuds crystal meth is 3days into flush and i will be cutting it down this weekend most likely. Mephisto hubbabubbasmelloscope is smelling like sweet sweet candy and is thick in resin Bighead seeds freeze berry/ blueberry crumble has a dank pungent stank to it and also is frosty but larrfy Big bomb is still growing thick and have bud sites everywhere Now I'm ready for the next batch and ready to get dialed in!

START WEEK 4/17/22 Not doing anything real crazy. Over time I seem to have removed most of the bigger fans. I am beginning to get an idea of how I want to defoliate what I want the canopy to look like. Having said that... these girls have been very hard to keep under control. I have definitely had some great OJT on my first grow and I still have a lot left to learn. All the plants are "icing up" real nicely, combined with the silver reflective walls everything looks and feels real CoooooooooooooL.🙏😱🙏 +I think the garden is doing well and overall is very healthy +ppm 1200 +pH 5.9 +temp and humidity are all over the place according to the passing cold fronts. The other day temp was 79 F and Humidity was 74% Today it is 54 F and 58 % *Ordering seeds today *Looking at one of the close ups, I think my plant looks like the description of Platinum OG that I have read about and viewed... I must be doing something right. Hey, the Neon Carrot colors are super pretty. *Oddly enough the smell is beginning to change... at least on the lemon tipped plant, from gas to fruity. Go figure. ? Massive fattening this week from the Lemon AK, shes a big one. Another 2-3 weeks and she might be ready! Zkittles is maturing, but slower than i had hoped :( another week at least i think. but thats about what everyone else gets. Both of these plants are very true to their names and smell spot on. Lower nute intake seems to be working somewhat so im gonna keep it this way till the end.

7 week is behind us. On day 45 i setting up net for holding buds and a bit more fullit up tent. There is past 2 days since she started flower. In this update i can not move out of grow room and some picture is not so perfect Peace and love ✌️😁💜💚

Been unable to log in for weeks, I apologize to those who were patiently waiting and probably thought I wasnt gonna finish. I just condensed the last 4 or so weeks into 1 video then ill do 1 maybe 2 more and that'll be the end to this abomination lol. I had a rough 2nd half to this 1 which is partly why I fell behind and couldnt ever catch up, also it ended up being much more involved than I had originally planned and I didnt have the time. Sorry i blew it but I hope you guys at least got a couple laughs out of it. That's what 1 leaf is all about. Good times with good people✌️
