Week 4 was actually pretty smooth. she was showing nitrogen and potassium deficiencies because she was being terribly underfed and because i had weened her off the veg nutes WAY too soon. I found the dyna gro nutrient schedule and ive been following that. i will definitely be following the schedule much better next round as i wasnt actually aware they had a schedule out. Shes currently week 5 day 1 and shes already fat af and super trichomey.s he still got at least 2 weeks left. she might be ready by week 7 honestly tho who knows guess well see. Ive been giving her 1 gal each time of dechlorinated tap water just straight water. it has been phd to 6.6 ph. runoff tested at 6.3 ph. will probably flush one last time before continuing the bloom feed.

OMG growing Cosmos F1 from Royal Queen Seeds has been an otherworldly experience! I mean, have you ever seen a plant with a Whorled phyllotaxy mutation? 6/22 Some pictures didn't upload but that's probably a good thing. As long as the video went up its good. I need to take less pictures. I'm glad I watered the plants in the back with a premixed gallon last night as we didnt get nearly the rain I thought we would. It's small showers throughout the day. The plants are getting enormous. A couple have revegged. Mostly the 10th planet. The others aren't anywhere near as impacted. Boy are some of these stalks thick. I chose to keep a couple plants that could be grown naturally without topping or fimming. I like to see the structure of the tree bit with humidity like this 98%rh it's easy to get botrytis. That's why it's good sometimes to have multiple bid sites so your proverbial eggs aren't all in one basket. But you do end up with a massive cola. I think that mk ultra with the big fan leavescis just going to be one giant bud. That's what it's looking like. Oh and today is the summer solstice. Longest day of the year. 6/23 WATERED EVERYTHING. USED FIVE AND A HALF GALLONS. EVERYTHING GOT AT LEAST A HALF GALLON. Despite the rain we got and the bags still having some heft I decided to water. It's 80 at 9am. It's supposed to he in the upper 90's today and coukd break 100° tomorrow. I hate that the grow bags are black. That's way to hot for the plants. I should find some empty soil bags and wrap the black fabric for a couple days. A sunscreen might help but I doubt much. We'll see how it goes. 6/24 It's 90° at 9am. It's supposed to break 100° amd stay there a while. Up to 106°. Plants looked awesome this morning. I wasn't sure what I'd find. Today is the worst of the days. If it didn't break 100 yesterday it was damn close all day and the girls look GREAT. I WATERED AGAIN TODAY. I USED EITHER 5.5 OR 6.5 GALLONS TO WATER THE GARDEN. It was nice cool well water too so they should like that. Branches are getting longer and I'm training as the get bigger. I need to put up the trellis but I'm not doing it in this heat. EDIT: 90° @ 6PM WENT OVER AND AS PREDICTED THE TWO TENS WERE DROOPING. IM WONDERING IF THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FINISH IM THOSE TENS. LAST YEAR I HAD ONE THAT WAS HUGE IN A TEN BUT IT JUST DEVELOPED INDIVIDUAL CALYXS WITHPUT CONNECTING. CHECK IT OUT ON LAST YEARS DIARY. IF THATS THE CASE I SHOULD KIGHT DEP THEM BECAUSE THEYRE GETTING BIG. I WATERED THE TWO TENS WITH ABOUT A HALF GALLON AND I USED WHAT WAS LEFT OF THAT COLD WELL WATER ON THE 10TH PLANET IN THE 30. SHITS LIGHTER THAN USUAL BUT LOOKING PRETTY GOOD. THE REST CAN WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING FOR THEIR WATERING. TOMORROW TOPS OUT AT 85° WHICH WILL BE MUCH BETTER. IM LOVING MY STRAIN CHOICES RIGHT NOW.

June 19, day 91, the grow has gotten close to harvest time, so I am begining to reduce the nutrient EC for this upcoming week. I will then give the plant 24-48 hours of darkness, along with very low EC water before harvest. I continue to take leaves off as needed for canopy exposure, but I think the buds have pretty much reached the size they are going to get. While the density of the canopy has limited lower development, there are about 50-100 top bud sites which will each be a minimum of a couple grams dried (and some much more), so I am pretty excited to see the final wet a d dry harvest weights. The buds themselves are hard and resinous, glittering nicely when not under the strong LEDs. The smell is sweet, fruity, and floral, mild but pleasant. I have noticed more clear trichomes than I would be used to for the stage in the grow (although plenty of cloudy and amber as well). I have a suspect this might be due to genetics, and contributes to the euphoric high this strain in known for. June 21, day 93, worked to expose more underdeveloped bud during this final ripening period. It's coming along! June 23, day 95, the Euforia is ripening. A lower bud became light bleached when they were suddenly exposed to light, and I am interested to see what happens to it after harvest. Overall the buds are a lovely light purple/pink and are hard with trichomes.

This thing was very easy to grow. Liked low PPMs in flower. Around 600 was plenty for her. Will report taste and effects when curing is complete.

It is day 27 and Most plants starting to flower so they are getting a mix of grow nutes and bloom nutes All looking really healthy and seem to be thriving and certainly drinking a lot more . Some side branches have been strategically trained to try and make most of space and improve yield Day 28 given water will continue with grow and bloom nutes as still getting vertical growth which I am glad to see 👌

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

All good. Time to flush maybe?

I received the clones from An out of province breeder. It reached me after three days of driving on the road with no light. Their future was not certain. I didn’t think I would need that many fans for the clones because they are so tiny, I figured they didn’t need that much maintenance. I was 100% wrong when I’m working with this many plants. I ended up getting mild mildew on top of the soil on the first week because there was barely any air circulation. At this point I didn’t have any Ventilation put up yet. And one fan on the floor. I ended up installing three fans in one room. No issues

Hi everyone 👊🏻 thanks for checking in 😏, so we have started flowering this week on the bigger tent using the 2 Lumii 720w LEDs, we might or might not run into some hight issues well see… And we have the other 1.2 tent set up for the clones there under 1 Lumii 720w led delivered until I can another one sorted few weeks 🤙🏻 get them under that for a few weeks then get them flowering as well. La he curado por par de semanas y ese olor exquisito a crema dulce es muy tentador, el humo se siente parecido solo que con notas cítricas y fondo terroso. Su pegada es Intesa y duradera; comienza con un poco de energía y pensamientos ágiles y termina con un golpe narcótico. 6/7 Watered even though I did last night. Its been in the 90s. Transplanted 3 more into 50, 40 and 15 gallon. Gave two away and need to find space for three more. Will spray tonight. Noticed a few aphids. Should feed soon as well. Upload pics and video later today. Planning to transplant the last three and merge diaries. UPDATE: WENT OVER AROUND NOON AND ITS HOT AS HELL. I NEED TO MAKE SURE SOIL WILL MONITOR WHEN I GO SPRAY AND FEED TONIGHT. 6/8 Watered lightly and fed two gallons of feed to the garden leaving out the fresh transplants. Its been four days in the 90s. Today supposably the last. I need to spray lost coast plant therapy to keep up with my IPM. Also need to transplant the 3 remaining. I'll upload the pics tonight. UPDATE: I won't be taking AS many pictures in the future but I wanted to get some on here. The strains of the seedlings that are being transplanted got mixed up. I know the strains but not which is which. Strains are; GMO, Purple Punch, 4 Kings, Wedding Crasher, Dosido, gaslight and Chem Dogg. ALWAYS LABEL THE SEEDLING ITSELF NOT ITS POSITION in the peat moss tray ( or whatever you may use). I know better than that but it started as just an experiment. WENT OVER AROUND 4 AND PLANTS WERE DRY. THEY LOOKED AMAZING BUT SOIL WAS BONE DRY SO I SOAKED 'EM. 6/9 Planned on transplanting the last three plants and it started to downpour. At least I hadn't watered yet. I'll continue to monitor. Went back and plants were drooping so I watered. I transplanted the last three and by the time I was done plants perked right back up. Internet is slow will upload pics later. 6/10 The heat wave has passed. Early this morning soil wasn't dry so I didn't water. I figured they could wait until tonight. I'll see if that was a good decision or not when I go back. I noticed PM on the back of some plants and inside. I did some defoliation but will do more once I go to spray tonight. Internet is still slow so it's hard to upload.UPDATE: Went back over and had to water. Grow bags are drying out quick with this wind. I defoliate a little on the bottom and removed the worst PM. I will be spraying tonight since this heat wave is over. UPDATE: WENT OVER AND SPRAYED EVERYTHING WITH LCPT. I DEFOLIATED INSIDE AND TRIED TO REMOVE WHAT WAS NEEDED TO IMPROVE AIRFLOW. 6/11 Plants don't seem negatively effected by the LCPT. However I noticed some spots of WPM that I must of missed. I pulled those couple leaves and will follow up. The cage is a tight fit and plants are big and bushy. I may look into totally lollipopping one. Much colder today. Plants were watered last night. Didn't need it this morning. 6/12 Temp is in the 70's. Lightly watered before feeding two gallons of solution. Cleaned up around and in the cage. Plants are doing phenomenal. I've continued slight defoliation on some plants due to WPM to increase airflow. 6/13 Didn't water this morning. Soil seems hot (temp wise). I had to leave unexpectedly at 6am for a family emergency. When i got back around 11am almost all my plants were drooping. I soaked everything but the little fresh transplants. I watered them lighter. I will return this afternoon to monitor. UPDATE: Went back over around 7pm. I received a message earlier that my plants had indeed perked right up after getting water. Plants are huge. I'm regretting not having a space bigger space (12x12). Found some more WPM on the interior of some plants as well as a few yellowed dieing leaves on the very inside of the plant. I'll keep an 👁️ out.

7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. 4/9/25 This plant is beyond frosty. Stacking up super nicely. Seems like she will yeild quite a bit. My only gripe is that she has like no smell at all. Using the foil as a soil cover is working quite nicely. the top soil is getting filled with roots quite well. Top dressed 1tsp of Bloom 1tsp microbe charge 1tsp bloom

Buds are forming nicely, the Hulkberry has a sugary scent, very pleasant looks like very green weed, vibrant. Leafs are showing some cal mag deficiency, I’m using RO water, but supplementing with cal mag, and leafs still demonstrating that for a wile, could be the led to cloase, checked the runoff ec 1.4 and ph 6.5 looks normal, tested the soilless, is between 6.5 and 7. This looks like a more fragile strain, wile by the side i have a heavy feeder, and a normal feeder, runing three distinct diets is out of question at this point... The Purpple kush smells like candy and is really purpple and the unknown strain is like mint with a strong indica look. I’m going to be away for 7days so I intalled a drip sistem and I’m hopping it does the trick...
