Hey now! So after 8 days of drying, and 6 days of curing, I just tried the Sour Diesel in a glass water pipe, and she is freaking amazing. She burns nice and slow, with thick clouds of smoke, and tastes exactly like she should, like a sour/citrus/fuel with a very nice aftertaste. I ended up with less than 20% of wet weight, but I am so ecstatic with the quality, I could freaking care less! I have a fantasy football draft on Saturday night, and I can't wait for the rest of my league to sample her! I had so much fun with this grow, from constructing the watering/draining system, to learning more about photography and video, to meeting everyone in this community, and finally to smoking Nugs that I actually grew! Planta de crecimiento no muy exigente, no demanda grandes cantidades de agua y nutrientes. En este caso solo apliqué LST y respondió bastante bien. Formó un buen tallo principal y una estructura ramificada y firme. Lo mejor de todo viene en la floración, adivina porque?... COLORES!, alrededor de la 3era semana comienzan a aflorar tonalidades rojizas, púrpura, rosas que deslumbrarán a cualquiera. Sus cogollos son más bien aireados y desprenden un fuerte olor cítrico como a cáscara de naranja intensamente dulce. En fin, una genética de calidad y con una visual hermosa y aromas asombrosos!. En lo personal prefiero los brotes más densos y compactos, pero me encantó todo el proceso de esta hermosa planta, totalmente recomendada!

Been ghost for a little while but now I’m back. Been dealing with a lot of personal stuff but I've been maintaining my focus on this girl. She’s grown a lot in the past 4 weeks. Did some LST, topping, and some super cropping. Started her outside but brought her inside the tent because she was reaching her full potential. She’s doing great now! I’ve been fighting a fungus gnat infestation but I got it under control now. She’s in her 3rd week of flower and is moving along nicely.

Switched to my 5 gal pots now, dumped 6L of water into each plant to get the pH back down still waiting for them to dry out a little before the next watering which should be less so next week will have water amounts Height is for the holy punch again. Power flower is still around 1.5"

Each Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost and Half filled with Vermiculite , watered planting medium before sowing seeds 2cm deep in planting medium. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. This may seem like a lot of effort? and it is, but it will be highly beneficial by increasing a higher germination rate and higher amount of seeds will germinate from using this method :-) especially if your seeds were expensive. 11/09/23 no sprouts above the vermiculite yet, i will check it again tomorrow. Today 2 Purple Kush Germinate and rise above the vermiculite 3 days after sowing. Purple Kush is going ok, it could be growing faster, unfortunately i can't upload new photos because there is a problem in the GD system, they are doing there best to fix this problem as soon as possible. And i planted the 11 remaining popped SLH seeds in the brown round pot, this is just to see how many will rise above the vermiculite from the 13 SLH fems seeds soaked on 27/10. I will give these away to a friend. Both pots have been placed on a propagating heating mat for consistent and ideal germination temperature until all seeds have risen above the vermiculite. Once my 1 fem seed has germinated! i will cover the pot with a transparen plastic bag and place the pot 20cm below a 100W LED light. 03/13/2021 Side branches are developing nice, I may do a little more lst to help lower tops to catch up before flowering starts Ps. Couple videos uploaded Day #6 doing some bending, and broke a branch off so I dipped in rooting powder,threw it in some vermiculite soaked with Bonide Garden Rich Root & Grow 4-10-3 with (IBA) Lets see if she will root! Fingers crossed🙏

Sorry for not updating the diary in a while, I have been very busy with work, and also I had some issues with the grow so there wasn’t much to show honestly. First, my plant was having nitrogen deficiency I believe and then I burned her a bit by giving her too many nutrients at once (I know what a beginner mistake huh🙈) But after all this, I cut her yellow leaves off and she has been really well for the past week. In these past few weeks, I have learned so much about growing after making so many mistakes so that has only been a good thing. Even after all these troubles, looks like she will produce some really nice buds, some of the buds are already pretty big and are just growing and growing every day. Please let me know what you think how far away we are from harvesting?

Day 64

Learned a lot from this grow and am very happy with the results. Pulled 2.8 Oz and 1.1 Oz of trim/popcorn buds in a one gallon pot. Definitely wont be doing that again, but had a lot of fun throughout the entire process. Going to be starting another grow soon! Very excited for that.

Gave water at 6.5ph will feed on week 3. I think I've had the light to close. On day 10 pictures you can see the leaves look like there burnt 🤔 or that's what I'm guessing it is. I've raised the light to 1meter it's only at around half power at the moment and showing 21000 lux.

A week has passed since the last time we saw the plants and as we can see, the weather has favored us and they have grown enormously, more than 20 cm each plant, let's see if in one or two weeks the flowering season begins and we can see those first signs of flowering.

Auch für die Pfadfinder eröffnet sich die nächste Woche. Beide Ladys machen einen Hervorragenden Fortschritt sowohl die Abstände der "Nioden?" als auch das Wachstum und die Farbe der Ladys gefällt mir sehr gut. Bei einer Lady habe ich etwas nach geholfen die zukünftigen Triebe durch die Fächerblätter zu fummeln damit diese schon frühzeitig licht bekommen und ggf. auch auf einer höhe weiter wachsen so wie sie es bisher tun. Bei der anderen Lady experimentieren ich etwas herum wie es sich auf die Ernte auslegt wenn ich einige Triebe nach unten "Binde" um einen Größeren Lichteinfluss zu generieren was aber bei der Lady nicht so einfach ist da sie ein verdammt wildes Wachstum hat was für mich als Newbie nicht klar erkennbar ist dank ihrer Mutation.
