In week 4 the plant kept growing to a real dense bush so I continued the LST and did some little defoliation every 2-3 days like in week 3. Additionally I started giving some Alg-A-Mic to help the plant handling the high temperatures (up to 35-36°C) inside my box.

Everything is looking good so far, gonna do start some LST this week and continue feeding 1 time per week at .5 tsp to a gallon. Gonna take pictures when I can but will be doing weekly for sure.

Jack herer is doing alright for a cold space grow. She started showing her first pistils. So her preflowering stage has started. I imagine she will start to stretch soon. I don't see her getting really big with the cooler growing temps. I could be wrong though. When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

Aug 16: Mimosa Shot is progressing but it has been cool and rainy lately. There are indications of P deficiency because of the cool weather. The top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom will do its thing so I’m not worried about it. Hoping for more direct sunlight though.

On day 30, I spray a solution of nettle manure at 200ml/L of water on the leaves and stems of plants in order to remove and kill potential parasites (red spiders, mealybugs) and also prevent certain diseases such as late blight. I think I repeat this treatment every 2 weeks. Watering with clear water on the same day (approximately 600mL per plant). I prepare the soil to transplant plants into open ground soon, with 20L of universal soil, 20L of surrounding soil and 1L of perlite. (CAN) Le temps pluvieux et nuageux continue, mais les températures remontent. Le jour 30, je pulvérise une solution de purin d’orties à 200mL/L d’eau sur les feuilles et les tiges des plants afin d’éloigner et de tuer les potentiels parasites (araignées rouges, cochenilles) et également prévenir certaines maladies comme le mildiou. Je pense répéter ce traitement toutes les 2 semaines. Arrosage à l’eau clair ce même jour (environ 600mL par plant). Je prépare le sol pour transplanter prochainement les plants en pleine terre, avec 20L de terreau universel, 20L de terre environnante et 1L de perlite.

Smells beautiful really can’t wait to crop her only 7 days left now this has been such a nice plant to grow she takes to topping very well and micro topping well and I now know where the name shinning silver haze comes from as she shines with thc proper happy with her
