After 11 weeks, I harvested the plants in two stages. It went faster than I thought, and the yields are impressive. The yields are much better for the four plants that I was able to keep shorter in height. They developed more dense, firm buds than the taller four plants, which is why I harvested them a few days later. I only watered with water during the last week and lowered the light to 600-700 ppfd. I'm drying now at 20 degrees Celsius and 55-60% relative humidity until the first stems snap, then the herb goes into hygrometer jars for curing. This time I trimmed wet because there were some really thick branches, and I didn't want to risk mold. All in all, it looks like a good harvest. I misjudged the height with this strain. I thought I could keep the plants relatively short by using topping and LST (low-stress training). This only worked for half of them. One of the plants was about 3 cm below the light, which is really suboptimal because I have no space above. I might have chosen a smaller pot size and swapped the plants' positions more often. I was also a bit too cautious with defoliation and pruning, but this was planned as an experiment to grow bushier plants, which didn't make me as happy in my application. Due to the high CO2 content, the cannabis grows exceptionally bushy and leafy. It requires regular pruning. The buds themselves have turned out really well. They are nice and firm, some quite large, and covered with many trichomes. The smell of the strain is less intense than I thought but still very pleasant.

I call this girl "Freckles" because of the way she's fading. She's like a sweet gas rn I'm looking forward to the way she'll cure. Her smell indicated to me that she's goin to be a wild card, you can't really predict how she'll mature through cure, but you know it's gonna be great.

Week 14 Day 101 Flower Day 51, she's just about there. Going to apply Terra Powers finisher later during the week. She still has a lot of mycelium left on top and throughout her, I really dialed in the enzymes on this grow. My charts aren't updated properly I'll finish it this week, and will be showing root shots and hopefully we will be seeing a covered pot in roots and not just compacted soil. There's been a lot of fungi and mycelium, that is partly down to Terry Power mixing well with organic soil, it works well as a great soil conditioner. But it takes a while, I constantly fed this girl enzymes. And man O man, look at them buds. The colas are huge in length, and that's down to poor mainline practices and uneven energy distribution. As for left and right been similar, well, put it this way, you'd struggle to actually make something that's more uneven energy wise than this, there's nodes growing over nodes, nothing is even, really terrible mainline it the way it's meant to be done, the purpose was totally ditched here and it was very lazy. And to be honest, unknowingly is an understatement. And the fact I had such failures on my 2nd round with germination, I got to focusing the last few weeks, and pult it all back together and I've hit l got 2 pretty darn good looking phenos, (with no clones taken, another rookie mistake, if you find a pheno you should always have a clone tent and a few weeks into flowering if it's no good or hermies than ditch them, but if you get one like my SLH dwc with very low leaf to calyx ratio if you just have 1-2 clones, you are golden. So currently I have 5 different photos running and I'm pheno hunting. Anyways back to this grow. So, she's nice and fat, but nothing you'd really want to clone, there's nothing special about it. Medium-calyx ratio and good frosty bud. I'm happy with it. Thankfully I'm running a few of the New Green House Unreleased Strains for testing also for barneys so I think photos have stolen my attention. Keeping the RH between 40-45 temp is more stable atm at 28c not really getting low temperature as we are in the height of summer. But I don't care, I have the winter coming to do terpness. I've got 1 SLH left, I just hope she's a good pheno. The buds on this are monsters, and really happy with them. Lots of mycelium left so there's food left and then later in the week I'll apply the finsher. Just a low dose. D103 Sadly my mycelium got hit with some mold. Only 2 small spots, 90% most of the mycelium went through the norm, it degraded as organic matter and made for some heavy buds, she is struggling to hold herself up altogether now, am going to have to brace her to get the best out of the last 10days. She is done, but because of ALL the heavy minerals, that aren't organic, it has HAS to be flushed. Now I was on the ropes the last few weeks about flushing but I've been flushing both my SLH for the last 4 days and when you walk into my tent now, wow, the bang of 🍋 is so strong. I'm so glad I flushed these, As I was like, this is a multiple award winner, so I was like, its not from the smell of the bud as it stands but wow, its like she's at to been doing a 10k run and is sweating, the smell is so beautiful. Wow, wow, wow. I haven't been this excited to try some weed, ever. About the mold, its never a good thing. But as it started on actually fungus I'm not too worried about it. Now, if it had of just been there, I'd be like shit wtf, so I dug through some soil and scraped away the 2 bits of mold, DISCARDED, and mixed up the remaining mycelium into the soil with the spoon I use to mix my soil on top to help dry a little if over watered. The plant is stretching very fast. It's very healthy. Smells amazing. Beautiful structure.

This is the fourth week of growing. These flowers are amazing. I've germinated them the same way, the same time with the same conditions, they got the same amount of soil, light, nutrients, but the difference between them is huge. The tallest plant is 100 cm, the middle is aprox. 50 cm, and the smallest is 15 centimetres. I have never seen any seeds with the same genetics and such a huge difference between each plant. The plants got blooming nutrients for the second time, except the smallest one, she still gets veg nutes. Unfortunately I've got fruit flies again, so I am protecting the plants with some glue traps. I had to buy some Secret Jardin Monkey Clip fans, because the old fan did not fit into the wardrobe. The wardrobe is actually a pretty good growbox, the only disadvantage is that it can't fit more than 3 plants.

This week we start in to the stretch....

3/2 I gave my plant its first feeding. Gave it about half a gallon of water with a PPM of 500. I also thought about topping my plant but am not really sure where. I am not sure what one is the top spot as this is my first time every growing. I also finally received my ACInfinity CLOUDFORGE T3. This has allowed me to get my Humidity levels more under control. I was okay before because of the dome but for the last week or so I have not had a domain and my humidity has not really be regulated. 3/2 A few hours later I said fuck it and just cut the plant where I thought the top was. I cut off a few lower fan leaves. Not sure If its too early to do it or not. 3/3 Finally got my ventilation setup. I am not longer venting into the room my tent is in. I now have the exhaust being vented outside. This has allowed for better temps in tent. I am not longer being baked alive. I have also noticed a lot more stability with my temps/humidity now. Temps are sitting at 78-80ish and my humidity is sitting around 60 percent. 3/5 I started LST as my gardening ties arrived this day as well. 3/6 Today I gave just shy of 1 gallon of RO/DI water with a pinch of Epsom salt. I was waiting off as I forgot to added to my first feed on the the second. After the watering I also saw my rapid rooter exposed as the soil seemed low. I think I didn't fill the pot enough. I also added some extra soil to top up the pot and make sure the rapid rooter was buried. I also collected my run off and checked its PH and PPM. PH was 6.2 and PPM was 863. Plant also seems unhappy this morning.

Week 4 of flower now plants are stoped the strech now and growing and packing on some size. It's been a fairly uneventful week in the 5x5. I cut down my Blackberry auto the other day and I've been thinking of getting seeds ready for the stuff I plan to grow outside this summer...With my currents cycle of plants being deep in to flower, I have time to look forward at upcoming projects. The Mimosa cake auto is one of those plants currently deep into flower. She's been giving off a dank smell of earthy/fruity/spicy terps. She is extremely dense and sticky to the touch. I find myself cutting fan leaves off daily due to her busy and stout stature. The only down side I have to her is the fact that she's going to take around 100 days from germination to harvest. Process/ Environment changes: - Turned off one TS1000 after I cut down the Blackberry auto. I did this to try and cool the tent down. Higher temps outside creates an increase I'm ambient air temp in my basement. - Fed Advanced Nutrients Bloom nutes at a rate of 1.5 mL/gal - no longer using a fish tank water heater to heat my water reservoir due to increased ambient air temperatures in basement Trichomes still mostly clear... I'm on day 84 post germination today as I write this.
