D71/FD43 - Nothing major to report on the SCP...all the story with the Red Hot Cookies this week!!! Seen my 1st browning pistil - hopefully this thing starts to ripen up...under pressure now (Again, see Red Hot Cookies story)!!! Dropping Silicon this week and changing to TNC bactor as out of Great White. Apart from that, nothing major with these 2 to report. Happy Growing all!!! 💪

Plant still bulking out with clear and milky trichomes. Plant receiving water at the same frequency. May have started the flushing process a week too early.

Week 7 with 3 plants... all three show different characteristics 1 is full n bushy, 2 is short and bushy, 3 is a bit stretched and showing burned tips

Pollenated for three days, took a funny photo shoot of the donor plant and tossed it. Let the plants marinate for a day, gutted the bloom room, scrubbed every inch of it down and moved the photos over there to finish, they were getting to tall for my 4x4. Put the Auto ultimates in their new home and they seem to be loving the spider farmer. First off, this is my first time trying cuttings. I read an article about monster cropping and decided to give it a try. The cuttings were taken roughly 3-4 weeks ago from the Glookies in my other diary. Strangely enough all of them made it and even after giving some away, I ended up with six. I decided to transplant 3 of them onto bigger cubes and will choose which one will make it into the flower tent in 2-3 weeks. The other three I will try to turn into little bonsai glookies and tack them separately. The two plants on the very right have already been topped, as I didn't like the growth (they started to stretch weirdly), however all 3 of them should end up with 6-8 main colas if I don't top any further. I plan to scrooge the winner at around 30 cm when put into the big tent. my last one stretched around 25 cm when I flipped her so this time I should be able to even the canopy a bit better. At the beginning of week 5 they all look a bit small and bushy to me. But let's see.. .Maybe they get a little kick and grow during the first weeks of the flowering phase, which we've now entered :) I cut a really small amount of leaves that were touching the ground on the auto bending one.And I started giving them two additional hours of light. Hope they like it. UPDATE: I had to start defoliation because the leaves were so bushy that they were getting wet in between... Hope this helps : And hope they get a little taller...

Week 7 - Venom OG and an unknown seed strain. No nutes - tap water - 12hr light schedule So VenomOG was originally in a normal pot. She stretched, got too tall and fell over, we moved it over to a five gallon bucket. Gave her some clean water, and tied her to a pole. This was the end result. She had tumbled over twice at this point now. So we were definitely worried shit might herm on us.

My good friend convinced me that trimming and training are paramount, so I've started with slowly defoliating the Creme de la Chems to try and get to lollipop status. They're just starting to flower, so I figured I could get away with a more aggressive approach. Because I failed to train these girls early, I'm stuck dealing with a little rain forest. What I've tried to do is trace each flower topped stalk up from the base, and trim away from the bottom up. 1/3 of the way up per day. I've now got a thick canopy, and I've been trying to just use leaf tucking and manual manipulation every few hours in order to keep the different height flowering sites in direct light. These ladies have really been thriving, and it's been such a joy to watch them grow! I like having two plants in one net pot letting them grow wild, but I think in my next grow I'll keep it to one per pot and train better from the start. As for the Super Orange Haze ... not as good. I attempted to pull the main branch over to train her to some empty space, but I was too aggressive and ended up popping her head off :(. First grow, first disaster. I took the head and stripped her/coated in clonex and pushed her into some potting soil just to see what would happen. There hasn't been enough foliage to really make me want to do any trimming, I've just tried to tie the stalks off to train them apart. I'm really sad about my mistake decapitation, but she seems to be doing well still. She's probably week 2 of flower based on others' journals. I changed the water midway through the week (which is when the videos were taken). I drained most of the water out, but roots prevented me from getting the last few gallons. When I refilled the res with RO, I measured the PPM at around 200. I have to assume that remaining nutrient was completely unbalanced leftovers, so feeding will have to just have to be experimental. My approach has been to give around 1:1 Gro vs Bloom and Micro every 2-3 days when I refill with RO. I want to build my PPM up to 1000, but slowly so that I can detect if I hit a ceiling first. It's hard to measure how much food is in the water based on PPM. CalMag is what drives it mostly, so I've been using CalMag as a sort of measuring stick. I keep the CalMag pegged to the Bloom food, but I know it's only good for initial dosing. I can't assume the plants are eating CalMag in the same proportion as anything else :(. If anyone has a line on cheap lab testing ... hit me up. I'd love to be able to test a few hundred samples at a time for NPK and trace so that I can tell (even if post facto) what was going on.

So it’s been another week of just keeping an eye on the environment my temps are a little higher than I would have liked but keeping the balance with humidity so should be ok, there’s a little yellowing under the canopy pretty normal but a little early in my opinion so got that to watch and maybe up the nitrogen. All the bottoms were stripped some selective defoliating is due next week and one after

I set myself a goal of at least 300 grams. So I'm not entirely satisfied on this point. También añado la gama de nutrientes de Agrobeta, que no falla, sin duda de la mejor alimentación que hay para tus plantas. Las flores empiezan a tricomar y a formarse bien, ya veremos como avanzan estas siguientes semanas. Esta semana quitamos productos, que termine bien de chupar todo el alimento, y que hinchen ya estás últimas semanas. .tambien lavaremos la raíces esta semana para quitar el alimento sobrante y las sales acumuladas. Empezaremos con el ESTRÉS HÍDRICO:el cual cada vez que regamos, regamos menos cantidad , así La Niña resina estas últimas semanas. Os incluyo vídeos.

Well it's been an awesome week :) Plants have responded way better than expected to both LST & fimming, I've got a good canopy and plenty of potential colas that are growing well and at an even level. Also, won £200 on a scratchy, so decided to invest in a better light. Went from 300w LED (true draw 130w) to 1800w LED (true draw 595w). The difference in the light is clear to see. Both plants have motored through initial training with LST and fimming without skipping a beat. I've read so many mixed opinions on topping / fimming autos, it was a hard decision to make. In the end, I decided to give it a try and find out for myself. If I'd had any concerns about the plants ability to cope, I wouldn't have done it, but if your plant is looking strong and healthy then it may be something to think about. Personally, I think there is no right or wrong, because it's probably entirely situational - too many variables like strain, genetics, environment, growing medium, lights etc to say one way or the other really. But for this grow right here? I think it was a good decision I'm extremely happy with the results. Scrog net now in place, and both girls are starting to boogy on upwards. No sign of pre-flower yet, I'm hoping they grow into the net before they start stretching too hard. Also, some weird findings from my runoff EC since I got the new light. Runoff EC has always been about 50-75 micro siemens above input. It was predictable as hell. But when the new light was installed, the runoff EC started to drop to about +25 from input... then the same as input..... and now my runoff EC is LOWER than input. Thought it might just be an anomoly, but it has now been consistently lower, every feed for the last 3 days. I'm going to post a question, but if anyone has any bright ideas wtf is up with that, let me know!!
