The past week I've been trying to identify problems with my climate and feeding. Three out of two plants (so also one of the XL Runtz) stay behind with exactly the same problems. I've been ventilating more to get cooler air into the tent. This seems to resolve some of the issues but has cost some development. Reason enough to call off the battle. The playing field was influenced by me as I'm still getting to know 'the rules of engagement' with growing autos indoors. They are way more sensitive to influences than my usual regulars. So I'm using all this info to tune my tent, for climate, and the soil for nutrients. So the next run will be more stable. Still, these strains completely amaze me with how fast they put out these buds. It is almost alien in 6 short weeks up to now. Considering my options for summer. Dealing with temps in a hot attic, or start growing some plants indoors and transfer to outdoor when it gets too hot. The jury is still out on this but the invasion of Ukraine could play a role in this as my government keeps pumping Russian oil and gas for our energy needs and Sunshine and me stand solid in our support for a free Ukraine. Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. By far the tallest girls in the tent. Her colas are stacking up nice and tight if she keeps that up we'll have some nice dense colas. 😁 Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

Day 21 flower. She is still growing

The weather has been absolutely pants. Cold and wet and windy. Typical UK 😅. Most the girls are into pre flower now and some are showing colour. It’s difficult keeping all fed especially with the rain but no major drama so far.

About to start flushing in about a week or so

This is now the one before the last week of my grow. Since it's my first grow, I'm not sure when to harvest, I wanted to wait another week and then harvest what do you think ?!

Starting to see the preflower and one of 3 is asymmetrical... worried it might turn out to be a hermaphrodite plant. Also scared to bend the stem to lst, don’t wanna snap it. Any tips on how to start lst with main stem foolproof much appreciated 😅 Should I let them dry out a little more then usual when bending or it’s not going to soften the stem? Should I counteract the top tension point of the bend with one on the bottom for support and do it gradually every day?

Transplanted into 3 gallon pots a little early only because my initial starter pots didn't have any fertilizers in it besides earth worm casting noticed a fade from dark to light green fixed it with some fish poop and they were back to good health overall there looking good

Good indica dominant strain, with hard and fat nugs ready in around 8 weeks, the buds are heavy but the plant seems to support the weight without any trouble. The strain shows a gassy background with earthy and light citrus smells, with hard buds covered in trichomes. The trimming is amazingly easy due to the hardness of the buds and we almost dont saw any small popcorn buds, we defoliated enough due to the indica appearance of the plant which gives her enough light penetration on the mentioned lower hanging fruits.

Hey folks, its been a while and I am happy to say we can start our first outdoor summer grow! So I recently got my hands on some 4 week-old clones of some purple kush from my pops indoor grow and will give it a chance for outdoors. I do understand that they are a bit finicky to grow outdoors due to its dense bud structures, but i'm willing to give them a chance. We are starting off with 15 gal fabric pots with Pro-Mix BX series soil amended with Gia Green Organics all purpose 4-4-4 with 2-8-4 bloom to a ratio of 70/30 @3Tbs/Gal of media. The clones then were transplanted and watered with dechlorinated pH 6.5 tap water. Lets see how they turn out! Cheers! :)

Day 92 1000 tap added 6.3 700 Tomorrow will be three weeks since res change. Day 93 1000 tap ph5.46.1 ppm710 Another tiny nanner plucked from another bud. Day 94 Three weeks since res change. She drinks about a liter a day. Looks cooked tbh. First I've read that if/when sugar leaves' tips start burning it's better to harvest, second I checked the trichomes: lowest buds are quiet transparent, but there are amber heads on the top colas already as well. So I guess I should prepare for harvest. I don't know if I should flush. Day 95 Welp after reading a few articles and being bored I decided to change her res one last time to just cold tap. I'm not even gonna ph it, hope I'm not gonna regret it. Update: PH rose like crazy and I had to add some PH minus :) Sugar tips are badly burnt. Day 96 And I sent her to chop town.

Yesterday I finally managed to flush. I used Advanced Nutrients' Flawless Finish for the first three rinses, then just plain water. I still couldn't get it below 250 ppm. The buds are doing well and are using the last bits of nutrients very well, in my opinion. I plan to continue with it for another week, still using plain water, and then harvest. 🖖

Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.
