Hi everyone!! First of all I want to thank everyone who followed up on this diary. It was an amazing experience to grow weed on my own, along with a small jungle I tend. The buds are incredible! My house was stinking up for days after the harvest. The taste is also something else, very strong and lasts until the end of the joint. Powerful strain. She got very purple towards the end, so nothing would be better than mixing pink berry flavoured chocolate (Ruby chocolate, look it up, it's naturally pink and sour) with some trims and put together a skull shaped truffle filled with infused chocolate and Jabuticaba (local fruit) jam. Sooooo good! I do have one complain though, I only got 35 grams out of it and I don't quite understand why...I did most things right, but still disappointing results. If someone knows what I did wrong, I'd appreciate the feedback. Anyway, see you again in future diaries!!

This week was when I first recognized that there was something wrong.... Initially I only realized that the stems of my little girl were slightly bent downward. In some cases I have experienced this orientation when a plant is exhausted and about to got through its sleeping period but, this seemed different. In the following days I began to notice that the lower leaves were beginning to fade, the stems began to turn red, and still the leaves were bending downward and not praying to the light! At first I just figured that my plant was in need of a feeding and transplanting to a larger container but, after doing a bit of research I realized that the I may have been experiencing a phosphorus deficiency. From my understanding I knew that these plants require nutrients that is high in nitrogen during the vegetative part of its life however, I did not realize that it's still needed an adequate amount of phosphorus in this stage too. As I mentioned perviously, I decided to reuse my soil for this grow and as a result of sterlization my growing medium no longer had any nutrients to offer my plant at the time. I believe this is the reason I began to see signs of deficiencies and going forward if I ever reuse my medium again I will make sure to re-amend it before using it. *I also topped the plant at the 5th node this week as well*

Was hesitant but decided to soil drench a couple of times with CannControl to try to keep their numbers down. Plant is looking fine so I’m not too worried. I started feeding liquid nutrients this week. Although I’m using Nature’s Living Soil Super Soil Autoflower Concentrate mixed with Fox Farm Ocean Forest—so technically I could water only until harvest—I decided to begin liquid feeding in Week 3 at half the recommended dose. I also have a Tray2Grow Autopot system for automatic bottom feeding, but I haven’t activated it yet. When using liquid nutrients via top feeding, I’d need to turn the Autopot system off and wait until the plants absorb all the water in the tray before feeding from the top. Afterward, I’d have to manually turn the system back on. That seems like a hassle compared to just hand-watering and feeding. I could technically add the liquid nutrients to the Autopot reservoir, but that somewhat defeats the purpose of the system. The tank holds 25 gallons—enough to last a few weeks—but if I want to change or rotate nutrients weekly, I’d have to dump the remaining water and remix the solution each time. If I wanted to feed nutrients every other watering, I’d be changing out the tank every 3 days. Plus, liquid nutrients can cause buildup, so I’d need to clean the reservoir and all the tubing regularly. For now, I’ll stick with hand-watering and top feeding. I’ll only switch to the Autopot system if I need to leave town.

Die Pflanze hat sich in den letzten 10 Tagen ordentlich um 21cm gestreckt. Ich denke jetzt hat sie mit 45cm ihre Endhöhe erreicht. Habe mich aber bewusst vor dem Kauf der Samen für eine kleine kompakte Pflanze entschieden die nicht so viel Platz im Fensterbrett einnimmt. Die Buds entwickeln sich immer mehr. Morgen wird das erste mal mit Alga Bloom gegossen.

Was out of town all week and came back to find the CBD Star in my space bucket not looking good. It looks like a phosphorus deficiency but not entirely sure. Yellow leaves with brown/black spots and dark red/purple stems. I flushed it with 2 gallons 6.5 pH water, re-fertilized, put it out in the sun and defoliated. I defoliated pretty heavily since many of the fan leaves were yellowed and blocking light from the lower bud sites. The center was also getting pretty dense so I carefully removed some of the leaves to help with airflow. Despite the stress, It seems to have bounced back reasonably well. There’s probably irreparable damage given the level of yellowing but the buds continue to grow and thicken. Cheese has absolutely exploded and looks great. It probably doubled in height last week with many bud sites on the 5 main stalks. Excited to see how it turns out.

hey gang update!!!!!!! so this heat is legit killing my vibe with the grow box it doesn't help its in the garage as well but ill make the best of it, i started up a couple new seeds as well so ill up date on that also as well, the watering with nutes is fine for the most part i just don't know why its going any further then this lol driving me nuts. lol. any help is appreciate it watch the video for more clarification thanks growmies!!!!!!!!!!!!

30.12.24: So I finally became brave enough last night to use LST on my grow for the first time. Watermelon 🍉 is doing much better than the other plants were at this stage, and still better than one that's 7 weeks old already! I'm very pleased with this strain and phenotype so far. As I've implemented the LST much earlier for her, I'm very excited to see what happens in the next couple of weeks 😃 Thanks for checking out my diary 🙂🍃✌️

Require regular trimming and maintenance to keep them healthy as much as possible so the girls can thrives…. Take up a lot of water for sure. But will update on the way and picture . Other than that I’m happy and satisfied and will look into Cereal Milk from Premium Cultivar as well. On day 12 will take it down from hang drying in 3 b 3. I will grow 6 plants from here on out instead of 12 . Give room for plants to space out.

Hola!! Por aqui en el día 36 de flora. Ya se esta notando bastante el engorde en las flores y la resina que están generando es hermosa. El VPD me esta acompañando muy bien y por suerte el pequeño aire de ventana que tengo funciona perfecto :P . Ya se empieza a sentir ese hermoso olorcito a las mañanas que te motiva a cuidarlas mas. El ultimo riego fue con 891 ppm -1.7 EC, en el cual ya disminuí la dosis de la base Micro y el silicio Rhino a 1ml por litro, pero comencé a sumar el Overdrive en 1 ml por litro. Seguro en el próximo riego sigo con la misma EC y en la siguiente (6) aumentamos un poquito para después disminuir (7) Les comparto un video, espero que les guste y esta en buena calidad. Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week.
