Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Day 92. Girls are runing to the end, foxtailing on one of Tangies is crazy, but bud is dence and i let her to go. Now StrawberryCough have loads space, she loved nutes, leaves are a bit too dark for me, but she is flowering and its fun ! Made on her Fims , tried to understand how deep you need to cut, so she will have some strange grow 4sure. Day 94. Early Tangie became TheRealFoxtailQueen ;)) thats it, i dont want to smoke tails, so she was choped aswell, sad , was hoping she will be my biggest girl from first 8... Was puting ice as a test on Early bigger FastDiesel, so part of roots stayed wet, its easy to spot, that those cones in airpots really works great. Day 95. Eve. Maybe Fatty could hang for 12 hours more, but i am leaving house for a bit and dont want them to overdry. Thats why tops are in seperate jar, not because it looks better ;) inside bigger tops, even when i trim them hard ( i could leave longer colas) still stemp is fat and keeps more mosture, that way its easier to cure them, humidity is more even trough each jar. So now to the main point .... Weight ..... And the winner is ...... ;))) 69.65 !!!! Never hoped that much from her, my eye scales are way off ;)) i think thats the winner, only late FastDiesel or StrawberryCough can beat. Bud dried 1-2 days too early for perfectness, but heating is on and its really dry weather in the house and dehumidifier triggers electrics ;)) i am flat out on max usage now ;) I am in a choping spree ;) Slimmer Fat Tangie falls aswell, she smells crazy, dont know is it smart to dry like i do now, neighbours should smell it 4sure ;)) Smells is fruity from distance and citrus from close up ... Every day new champ ? ;)) Early Big FastDiesel very sticky, not rock hard, but hard buds in total of 73.61 !!! That strain i have in marks for summer, its a killer ;) if you smoke it, all neibourghood knows about it, maybe even all small town ;))) Smaller Early FastDiesel is choped today,she easy could make two more weeks and gane weight, but her choped sister is too strong, cant have couch lock weed all day ...

Alright, it's the end of week 2 veg and we're starting to take off! Have you ever seen a plant with the mutation mine has? She doesn't have a main stalk lol but instead has two! Plus her fan leaves are looking a bit screwy lol. I'm a fan of mutated cannabis though and love to see how they do so she's definitely staying around. I'm not a big auto grower myself so I don't have that high of expectations but I'm sure these ladies will look great once they get another week or two under their belts. We're continuing the alfalfa Ferment from Growing Organic (discount code CollinT), these girls have craft blend mixed into their medium so we won't be top dressing until late veg early flower. D29 : Watered with 2L of the mixed nutrients (1ml of Fish-Mix and 2ml of Bio-Heaven), ph´d at 5.8 in order to try to fix some cal-mag possible nutrient deficiency. Lights will be staying at 80% until she is totally into flowering. Did some bottom defoliation as well in order to prevent further thrip problems. D30 : Well, today was a big experiment day. I was watching some people doing some different types of training and decided to go a little further with my experiences and do some new training. I defoliated her A LOT (hopefully I don´t stunt her), took out the nodes that were on the bottom and had no chance to become at least medium-sized buds. Rearrenged all her LST and now she´s looking naked and beautiful lol. Let´s see how she responds, as I said before, this is and experiment for me to learn more about techniques. D34 : I did some defoliation today, took out some leaves and some tiny shooters that had no chance to become anything at least medium-sized. Watered with regular 6.2pH water. She´s looking very very beautiful, I have high hopes for this girl :) ! Also rearranged all the LST.

Super stoked for last week, watching her flower is pretty incredible, so from pretty much week 9 of veg up till now I've been feeding her half strength base nutrients with fluctuating strengths of sensizym and Cal-Mag always mixed with 8L of basic filtered water. Update January 5 2020. Back from my fishing trip! Happy to say that everything with the durban is going swimmingly, I fed her today 8L with half strength base nutrients and half strength of sensizym. I will probably do one more feeding with sensizym and call it good.. in two-three weeks I will start adding my Overdrive nutrients to my base. January 11 update: Not much going. Just playing the waiting game now. January 13 update: its gotten really cold here, like -37 with wind so I put a ceramic heat emitter back in, now back up to 250w heat running 24/7. Growing in an unheated shop is definitely a challenge! But with the other one in things are picking up and shits drying out finally. Should have put the other heater back in a week ago. My bad. January 15 update: -37!! Holy fu*ck, fed her 3L of mixed nutrients at half strength. With just a splash of overdrive. January 17 update: outside temps finally warming up to -25°c yay!! Inside grow box temps up to 28°c she likes it warm, Fed her the remaining food I had mixed up, she got about 5L. Seeing fattening of the bud sites👀👌 January 19 update: No idea when this happened but it did.. got a crack right at first top. Now I know to leave more of stem above where it splits off into two. Quick tape fix till I figure it out, fed her 5L of mixed food with just under full strength OverDrive and some organic growth plus.. it has a high pk so I'm using it once. More updates to follow. This grow went extremely easy, I believe I held off on harvest till week 13 She dried for 7 days around 55-60 RH and 72-75° F could have been better but not the worst Good moisture level still inside the buds been burping the jars and reloading them letting the RH slowly decrease inside the buds This stuff gave me 1 gram of rosin off a 3.5 gram press at 205°f Great returns overall and awesome smell!

Wk 5 was Steady Away, Explosive growth starting, Transplanted one from aero to coco and added Began the Scrog As you may have noticed, I Expanded the garden to give the coco girls some more room. The Dawg in the aero wasn't taking well at all, she hadn't really had a good innings from the beginning. I transplanted her into the coco and Fed her very week nutes..

Going into week two I did a reservoir change and added 1 tsp of GH Floramicro, Floragro and Florabloom for a total of 3 tsp of base nutrients instead of 3 3/4 to try and combat the yellowing of the leaves. Iv also added 18 ml of B-52 to help alleviate the stress this girls experiencing. May increase nutrients dependent on leaf colour and how much water/nutes are used over the next few days. I will also be adding in some benificial fungi + bacteria and some calmag. This will happen over the next few days as I dont want to shock her. After adding the calcium, magnesium and iron the yellowing improved significantly. As you can see in the video from day 13 though the roots are a little brown. I did add RAW microbes and im wondering if the browning is just a stain. If not though, being new to this I don't know if this amount of browning is something to worry about just yet. On day 13 I removed the plant dome as my humidifier finally arrived. Nice bonus is my temps went down since its a cool mist humidifier. As of day 13 I'm running at 60% RH and 23.5 C. Any comment to let me know your take on the root browning would be awesome. Thanks for following.

This is one of the strains that is doing very well in both the technical/free versions, we are talking about the Fruit Punch Automatic by Zamnesia. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find a plant left to grow straight with a good bit of cleaning at the bottom but essentially left to go. We can see that it is probably the fastest of all in terms of flowering, train because at a certain point you have to start the Green Sensation, not before or after the magical moment of swelling of the flower. Every booster in general except Comparison is the salt of the experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to make a comparison. We started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is made up of recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). In the middle of the week the pre-flowering started so I decided to start the program for this phase: 1 ml/l of Power Roots - 1 ml/l of Pure Zym - 1 ml/l of Sugar Royal - 1 ml/l of Power Buds - 3 ml/l of Alga Bloom Remember the Green Sensation from the 3rd/4th week of flowering depending on the flowering speed or how you see the calyxes composing, when the calyx is in the swelling phase it is used. Amazing told this run 110 grams of bud and 80 grams of shake. An amazing pungent fruity citrus cream cheese aroma eminates out of my cure vault. The high has been described by my friends as a creative uplifting high followed by intense couch lock. The grow itself was a breeze. The only real issues i had in the hydro grow was that i needed to to add cal mag because it was growing so fast and i was using distilled water. I basically did not train my plants other than defoliating to make space for air flow and light penetration. I would recommend this for any first time hydro grower that has a decent amount of space.
