This was a great experience and something I have looked forward to for 19 YEARS!!!!!! Thats right, my very first attempt was a summer when I was 14 in a backyard with mediocre results and no flower but that was my very first grow ever. 19 years later its fully legal and here I am getting 36 grams of decent bud grown by the sun in a very questionable cannabis climate!!! NO COMPLAINTS HERE!!!!!!!😋 This diary was never about getting giant buds or the best flowers but more about I'm growing ORGANIC PINEAPPLE EXPRESS IN MY BACKYARD literally a dream come true, to do this worry free, 100% legal. As far as the grow goes I will certainly have some new strategies next year, I think a plastic pot would have been better to keep the heat in at night time with the cool temps earlier on in summer. Maybe even some minor insulation would be a good idea?!?! I'll invent the canadian outdoor cannabis pot hahahah I did not scrog the lady but I did use some yoyos to pull down the outer branches to help the flowers get even light. Will try folair feeding as well next time. I also dried her outside! and trimmed her outside to, she got the full outdoor experience. I just cut the plant and hung her under the deck, worked out good as it was a fairly dry week and she dried out fairly slowly, a little quicker than the tent plants. Now in about a week or 2, maybe a small cure at least first I will be doing the end game goal, smoking endless doobies of pineapple express while watching pineapple express!!!!!!!!! Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. Hopefully I can show you all of this with my Grow. Anyways please feel free to ask away any questions! This grow is about saving money 💰 🤑 and growing the best clean medicine as possible.

Every thing has been going well, plants looking very lush, & healthy, put on a bit of a stretch, added 2nd scrog net to train them through as they stretched. Been busy lollipoping & defoliating lower growth to allow more air & light through. Removed a lot of lower popcorn branching & lower bud sites, so they can now focus & send all their energy to the top bud sites. Going very well.

I watered the dolomite lime into the soil with 2 liters of 2ml/liter Supermix, also to give the upper roots more NPK. What she can draw from the reservoir through capillary action doesn't seem to be enough yet. As an Indica dominant, I didn't top her but removed the bottom two branches and try to keep the central branch under control by removing leaves. In total, I now have 5 main branches.

No more training, switched the lights to 120W+660nm+UV+IR. I had to increase the distance since the new QB is much hotter. The weather was very humid - AC working all the time, still 26.2C at night, usually 25C during daytime, 45% RH during day, 52% RH at nighttime .

2-25 Did a full water with run off. Gave 1/4 nutes made 2 gallons of water. PH 6.2. Ppm 580 Silica 1.5 ml Micro 4 ml went a little under just to be safe. Trees none Flowers 6 ml Frosty Nugs 5 ml Blast off .075 ml Bud Strength 5 ml Run off PH was 5.8 Run off ppm was over 4400 Feel a big fresh water coming 😂😂😂 Sheesh 3-1 1/4 nutes, no trees. Run off ppm 950 ph 6.4 So far so good.

Clones took out of dome 5 days ago soil was made 2 hot and got a bit of deformed leaves not looking so good as there fresh clones just rooted let's see what they look like in a week

June 21st - they are doing great with the newa ac unit. temps are saying around 25-26. They are just growing away. I decided this week I would swap there nutrients for transition to flower. I watered them today with the first mix of the recommended transition to flower. June 22nd - Still growing away, they seem to be picking up growth quite a bit now! June 23rd - Starting to explode with growth! Everything looks healthy. I have turned the lights up to about 85% now. Gave them a feeding today, again with the transition to flower recommendation. June 24th - Still growing like crazy. They are on a 12/12 schedule and it looks like they're on there way to flower! Junes 25th - Lots of growth in the last 5 days. They have perked up a ton, grown a ton of fan leafs and its almost time to do some more lst or defoliation. Gave them another feeding today. I have decided to just feed with every watering as it is the manufactures recommendation. June 26th - Took the girls out and did some LST on them again as they were starting to become pretty uneven. Unfortunately I only took pictures/videos of the one plant. You can definitely see the growth since the start of this week. They seem to be getting pretty dry by the morning so I have been feeding roughly every 24-36 hours making sure not to overwater. June 27th -They popped back up overnight and are just growing away. Another watering today. Roughly 3L per plant. Again making sure not to overwater.

Everything is going well ( day 22 ) , I figured out my lighting issue. I raised my lights all the way up to the top and turned them to 75% power and the plants are doing well now now wilting or anything

Other than spreading folage out to new found space (had two male seedlings), I haven't maintenanced much. I want to get the pH down slow. I'm doing a top up and going to be careful for no big jumps. I'm gonna take the bins my tank sits on out to give me more grow room for next crop, and to keep reservoir temp down.
