Been topping a lot of the highest nodes, trying to keep it a little shorter before moving to bloom tent. They grow so fast with hydroponics. Basically repeated last weeks nutrients, there was no issues and didn’t do anything but top to keep em shorter, didn’t even top up water for 7 days straight...

High GD community, Week 9, Sweet Thai looking allready better then ĺast week. The topping start to grow gently and a full 13cm in height gained this week. Since 3 days(friday), the lightcycle changed into 13/11. Nonetheless spidermites are spotted on this lady, she doesnt back down. After a treathment with orio bugs, who i actually misordered because I didnt had my new microscope yet, trips are definitly gone, and orios do eat/attack spidermites, its not their favorite. So a second army of bugs, this time phyto mytes, its gonna be all about attack and digesting spidermites, Who didnt yet get crowdy so far. But after a check up of some leafs with the new microscope, i can see a lot of eggs and pretty active young spidermites. So the phytos will not come to early. Phytos do eat eggs as orios dont, so thats a big difference. Still going through flowering. She has stayed short and stocky throughout since week 3/4 actually. About that time I remember watering her with nutrients that must have been too acidic. I'm pretty sure I omitted add ph up. 😭 The damage was done, growth all but stopped. As she is an auto flower there is no time to 'save' her and grow a big plant, so we will go to the end with what we've got.

I will give a small back story but the real story here will be told from the plants perspective thru music. The most fitting song for the week will be edited down to the most relevant part and I will keep it under 1 min the best I can. I want it to be fast moving and entertaining not long and stupid and irritating. So....this was a cut I was experimenting with cuz I didnt need it and may have even been trying to kill it just a little. I'll spare the longwinded story. Too cold, too dry, light burn, neglect, over watering, misdiagnosis, nutrient burn, unsalvageable material, scissors, 1 yellowing leaf with just a little bit of green left sparked my interest. Thus begins the legend of the 1 Leaf Wonder....

9/16 88 days old. Beginning of the third week. She has been grown organically up to this point. Today I added some fox farm nuits for early bloom. I have it so I might as well use it. Only going to use for a few weeks. 9/21 did some defoliation and tried to spread her out. She doesn’t have a ton of leaves even though it may look it. She has a lot of branches. I took off a lot of branches before the flip and probably could have taken a lot more. Also fed her Fox Farm Open Seasme. She is growing in living soil and has been organic. However I have the Fox Farm and might as well use it. She is starting to put on some weight.

Day 50 Both plants received their first feeding of Future Harvest Holland Secret 3 part combo and in less than 12 hours have perked up and look very energetic! If all goes well I will hopefully flipping to bloom in week 9 or 10

Alien OG Autoflower grew great, and finished beautifully. Strong smell, frosty, and sticky. She grew great under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. It was my first time using the Gen 1:11 nutrients. I really like them, and will use again till I run out or get more. She will hang dry 24 hours then be put into the cannatrol for a 8 day cycle. I got a great grow to try it out the first time. 🤞. Everything is going to plan so far, at the end of week 4 I will be flipping the lights to 12/12 because the gelatos will be ready for it, but the Og is a little bit behind but I’m sure it will catch up with them in the stretch. Day 26 - just switched the lights this morning 12/12 as it’s about time imo as the gelatos are getting big I don’t have the time or space to let them veg on so the Og could catch up, so I’m gonna hope that during the stretch it does.

On day 1 I transplanted 2 BB clones into 3 gal smart pots with coco coir. I watered them in with veg formula and set up my blumat watering system with week 1 flower nutes. I raised PPFD to 600-700. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.0. The rez is 823 ppm. The tops are 16.5" from the grow light. The blumats have not started watering yet and I will monitor to ensure it goes smoothly. I have the blumats set at 1.25 carrots on left plant and 1 carrot on right plant. The average PPFD of my 16 tops is 703 PPFD. I increased temps to 85 day 81 night to get leaf surface around 80 f during day. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 782 ppm. The blumats have started watering and I will monitor closely over the next few days. On day 4 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.1. The rez is 717ppm. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is steady at 6.1. The rez is 706 ppm. The highest top is 15.25" from the light. I defoliated to bring in more air and light to deeper into the canopy. I increased the flow rate of blumat by .5 carrot on the right plant as it was a little to dry for my liking. The Clones are preforming well. On day 6 the reservoir PH is going down so I adjusted up from 6.0 to 6.2. The rez is 730 ppm. The highest cola is 14.75" from the light. The left plant had a runaway so I reduced blumat by 1 carrot. I increased flow of blumat on right plant by .5 carrot as it is still drier than I would like. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.0. The highest cola is 14.25". I reset rez with nutes.

Day 79 17/09/24 Tuesday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Seeing good developments, buds forming nicely, divines are smaller denser structures but the buds are not lacking! Damn I'm surprised by 2L pots. Day 81 19/09/24 Thursday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Day 83 21/09/24 Saturday Another feed to push this week they seem to be handling it 💚. Fattening up on the buds now and pistils starting to mature. Day 84 22/09/24 Sunday (End of week) Damn!! Noticed I have leaf rollers!!! Damn caterpillar, from moths. So I have removed affected leaves and areas and this AGAIN will affect yeilds on all plants...but I have determined the strains I will re run ! Let's hope we make it too the chop 😅💚

The seedlings responded really well to Root Juice from Biobizz,. Potted them all on day 5, and kept them under a 600w.led vegging light (Cobb Cree 3000w Led by Philizon) Days 1-6 Not much happening on the surface, miniature differences with each one, but been autos right now the seedlings will be rooting. Environment. Light cycle is now 19 on 5 off. Using the Philizon cob Cree 3000w full spectrum veg light. Light suspended 32" of the lip of the pot practically the top of the seedlings, I could have got it lower but I can't imagine much difference vegging. Night Temperature were previously between 19.5c to 23c. Temperature has been slightly altered to 22.4c to 25.6 following some guidance I read on; https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-indoor-cannabis-growing-relative-humidity-and-temperatures-n243. Set up is currently been regulated by Inkbird climate remote heat n cooling. 1500w oil radiator ;) set at 900w 26/27c 22.02.20- Slight change to air exchange set for every 14 mins previously cycling every 40 to 43 mins( radiator was set too low, higher power temp, more responsive to temp changes.) This enables the radiator oil to reach its heat n switch off it's internal thermostat at the device, not the controller. I found I was able to continue radiating a couple of air cycles, before finally dropping below 25.7 which then triggers the radiator to kick in as it's been able to cool off for nearly 26mins) Temp cycle Set 27c Fan activates 27.5 stops at 27 but temp drops 1.5 Heater (controlled by Inkbird climate controller) activates 26.c stops at 27.c takes a further 6 mins to climb +.6c & then fans kicks in. I noticed the begining signs of Nitrogen toxicity as some leaf's where begining to claw. I let the plants dry out a day further. I filled a reservoir 80 ltrs tap water, n let sit overnight pH to 6.3 Sunday W4 D33 15/03/20 Poured 8 litres into each pot gradually (2ltr bottle hand feed) - water didn't run off untill the 6ltr (3rd bottle), the next 2ltrs that followed ran out quicker & less sluggish. I checked in 6hrs later, plants appear to be well. I will keep you posted as we enter the beginning of week 5 (week6 on grow diaries as Day 1 was week 1,. Unable to amend) #sweetseeds

I noticed that the whole right side of the tent had basically collapsed, so harvest was upon us. Using hedge clippers I cut away large chunks of the plant: THis thing is huge. Put some celophane over the cut ends and taped them, had to load them into the tent for drying at a couple of different levels so that it is stacked. Will update once I have dried and cured.

2 weeks left!!! Flushed with water a few days ago..can’t wait to see that leaf fade! #1 trichomes are popping off..lots of milky and amber..my frostiest plant to date! #2 trichomes increasing but not nearly close to #1
